After her stay, she came home visibly distressed and became increasingly lethargic. I rushed her to an emergency vet, where she required immediate care. The owner, Kristen, acknowledged this in writing and offered a $500 reimbursement to help with the vet expenses. Thatincident was over two months ago. I've followed up multiple times, professionally and respectfully, but I've received no response and no payment. While accidents can happen, how a business handles them afterward says everything. Their silence--after admitting responsibility--has forced me to share this publicly. I hope no other pet parent has to go through what we did.

This was our 6th time using daycare for our Australian Shepherd, Zeus, and what we experienced was beyond unacceptable. We trusted this place. We expected outdoor play, clean and sanitary conditions, real supervision, and staff who genuinely care about dogs. Instead, we walked into neglect. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by basic questions. When we dropped Zeus off and asked for a tour, we were bluntly told no manager was available and no tour could be given. No explanation. No reassurance. Just attitude. When we came back for pickup and asked again, we were told to wait so staff could "check on some things." That alone should have told us something was very wrong. What we saw after that made us angry, sick to our stomachs, and heartbroken. Multiple dogs were locked in kennels with no staff supervising at all. We personally witnessed kennel staff and groomers being unattentive, rude, and disengaged, including employees standing around or sitting on their phones instead of watching the dogs. Kennels were covered in dried urine and feces, and dogs were left sitting in it--no cleaning, no breaks, no compassion. Then we saw Zeus -- locked in a crate in the corner, shaking, crying, and terrified. Seeing our dog like that broke us. It was devastating. He looked scared, confused, and completely abandoned. Watching him tremble and cry in that crate made us feel sick, angry, and deeply depressed. No dog deserves to be treated that way--especially not in a place that claims to provide care. This was not a bad day. This was systemic neglect. We left furious, heartbroken, and ashamed that we trusted this place. We cancelled everything immediately and will never return. This was not daycare. This was dogs being warehoused, ignored, and emotionally broken. They call it It's a Dog Life -- but what we witnessed was cruelty, neglect, and suffering.

I sent my dog there a while ago and they cut him during his grooming and then never told me. So I never went back. Then I met my groomer Barbara, who convinced me to give them a second chance. Barbara was amazing! She fit me in her schedule last minute and took awesome care of my Senior dog. He felt completely at ease with her, she listened to him and made sure he was not anxious and tailored the groom for his quirks. Then they lost Barbara. She no longer works there which is a shame. They lost my business when they lost Barbara. I do not trust them with my senior dog, esp since it's the same ownership. If anyone knows where Barbara is now please let me know so I can get my dog groomed by her.

We brought 1 of my 3 fur babies in last wk & informed her that all of them are experiencing extreme itching, patches, & dry scaly spots. She tested for flea ticks & mites, came back clear & she also performed a skin scrap. Prescribed her steroids & something for the infected skin. Amazing lady. I called the following wk to bring my other fur baby & called prior to my visit & asked to have the same vet we just had ( Mrs. Weaver ) I'm big on 1st faces & comfort. I was told that it will be her again. Get there & it's 2 completely different vets, NOT Mrs. Weaver at all. This specific vet ( Dr. Nunnally ) damn near seemed scared to come towards Gelato. Stood by the door until I distracted him with treats. Basically, came in asked what day did we come in with other dog, said she was going to check the paperwork & came back with medication that was given to my other dog. Literally in & out. Honestly thinking notes are kept & communication is tight, didn't think anything of it ( my babies do have allergies ) until I got home to give him meds & notice he only had steroid NOT the medication for infected skin. So I called back to ask about it, 24hrs later I'm told the vet ( Dr. Nunnally )didn't see the need to because no skin rash was present ( I'll post picture of his skin irritation that she claim he never had because she was too scared to look ) she clearly missed it because it's been going on with them for 3wks, I even had to send pictures & was told I'd have to pay for another visit when it should have been done RIGHT when we brought him & informed them that day. Hell, even the receptionist tried it saying " no she didn't miss it, in her notes she doesn't have skin irritation" like YOU WEREN'T THERE ! It truly doesn't matter atp what she did note because it was CLEARLY false. Gelato was 100x calmer than Queen was & Mrs. Weaver manage to get it done right. It doesn't matter if the revisit was $200 $50 $10 or $2 it's the fact that it wasn't done when he came in so WHY should we have to pay for her ( Dr. Nunnally ) mistake ? Everyone makes mistakes it okay, it's truly just the principal. Mrs. Weaver, however, is Heaven Sent. She gave this place a star in MY opinion. Establishment is beautiful but I'll definitely pay my money towards a vet that gives af.

My husband & I have a 13 year old miniature dachshund & this past Spring of 2024, sadly our beloved 10 year old Doxie poo (Roxy) passed away. A few days later, we received a special sympathy card in the mail from Lance's. I was very impressed that they had taken time out of their busy schedule to personally contact us after our dog died, and what really made a big impression on my heart was the kindness we received from each member of their staff. Each person personally sent a sympathetic message along with their signature on that sweet sympathy card.
