Two hours later. No food yet. Very slow service.

If you are older and are looking to find a place where you could actually wait to death, this could be the perfect place for you. We came in and waited 2 hours for our meal to even arrive. We even finished a bottle of wine prior to eating. I even think our server disappeared for no apparent reason for over 30 minutes. Not sure exactly where she went. Even when she was there she did not seem like she was focused on helping. We were told a bout this place by one of the hotels. They stated it has the best lobster that they have ever had and that we must check this place out. Well, they had a lobster roll (Sushi roll), but no lobster. We then decided to choose a couple other dishes, minus the very long wait, these dishes were underwhelming at best. Especially after the rave reviews we received from the hotel staff at Jasper resort. There are probably a lot better places to go in Jasper than this place. I would choose a different place.

The menu was a little limited on selections but the dishes are pretty good. The drink menu on the other hand had quite an expanded selection. A little pricy but overall a good experience.

Stayed at Tekarra Lodge and decided to give this historic restaurant a chance. If you decide to eat here, be prepared to spend money! Not only would this place pass for an excellent fine dining restaurant in Vancouver, add the fact that it is in a National Park which usually means tourist prices. Regardless, we were very satisfied with the level of service and the entire meal. The room itself is intimate and quaint (I can only imagine how romantic it would be in the winter), and the service was disciplined and professional. Despite the formal plates, professional service, and fine dining prices, we were brought down to earth with the playful paper table cloths and crayons on the table. Each dish was expertly crafted and cooked. My only critique would be that some dishes seemed over-complicated an cluttered. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for a special meal for a special occasion.

A gastronomical delight!!! We were shocked to find such a fabulous restaurant in Jasper of all places. This would easily compete with any top Michelin Star awarded restaurant in New York or Chicago. A creative and flavorful food journey. From start to finish, everything was exquisitely plated and and filled with a variety of rich flavors. All types of people from children and families, couples out for a romantic night, and large groups. Fantastic service and full bar.

Had the wild boar pork belly. Really fresh ingredients, great plating presentation, but the seasoning was too heavy handed

This is our favourite restaurant when in the Jasper area. Everything is made from scratch and we have never been disappointed.

OVERPRICED. Small portions. Large, inconsiderate family with children. Bison meatballs were good.

We split a bunch of appetizers. My favourites were the tacos and the salad. Always get their salads! The baked brie wasn't that warm when it came out and they replaced it right away. The restaurant itself has a nice modern interior. It was much busier than the last time we were there and had a bubbly and warm atmosphere. We will likely be back again next time we visit Jasper.

The ambiance was nicer than expected given the name, it was comfortable and modern but lacked any charm. The drinks were a highlight, we all enjoyed our cocktails and mocktails. The server was also very attentive and communicative. The only item we really enjoyed was the goat cheese poutine. That was delicious. The entrees were boring. Two of my party got the blackened salmon special with rice, vegetables and curry aioli. They expected a flavorful experience but got white rice, steamed vegetables and barely seasoned salmon with a small side of flavored mayo. It was cooked well but just not very tasty. I got one of the staff favorites, the bison meatloaf, which was also pretty bland. The meals were served like a convention center banquet meal instead of saucy, flavorful and fun.
