What makes this place worthy of 5 stars is, the quick registration process(for first time patients), a short wait time to get prepped for X-rays and an exam, a personable dental assistant and a very thorough cut to the chase dentist. Dr. Young's dental assistant was friendly and entertaining, making me feel relaxed and comfortable as I sat in the chair for my teeth cleaning; while Dr. Young was kind and gentle finishing up my teeth cleaning and assessment. I have a follow up appointment to get some fillings next week. The dentist even supplied me with some complimentary toothpaste and gum, plus wrote me a dentist note for work. Good staff here, time well spent.

Let me tell you a little about my expience with other dentist first…read more Before I met Dr Young, I hated dentist, primarily because most of them lie about what treatments are needed and try to make the most out of your pain. I consulted 2 dentists before I met Dr Young, one of whom prescribed 4 extraction, 2 rootcanal and an invisalign. That person even wanted me to do the root canal right away on the very first day of the consultation. Thankfully I did not do it and instead went to Dr Young who was referred to me by a friend. She is a God in disguise. Trust me. Although her clinic is a little hard to find but once you are in there, it is neat and professional. She treats you well, doesnt ask you to undergo treatments that are not required. She did my root canal and it was the almost painless. She also doesnt pressurize you to buy her products or any other marketting gimmicks. She charges reasonably, and accepts only cash though. I would recommend her to anyone. It's a no drama clinic.

If you have the time visit the office in person, there you can make an appointment and fill out new paperwork because they are updating all their files and making it all digital. The dentist group taking over this office and his patients is Zak Dental. I hope this clears things up for patients who are trying to get through to Westermeyer's office.

Dr. Westermeyer was my dentist for over 40 years. He and his support staff were absolutely…read morewonderful. Fifteen days ago, in February 2021, Dr. Westermeyer retired. His practice was purchased by another dentist about whom I know nothing. Because of the problems I have had obtaining information from the new support staff, I shall never meet him. I called the office seven days after Dr. Westermeyer had retired to find out the date of my husband's last visit. The unknown woman who answered the phone told me that she would research the matter and call me back the next day. I never heard from her again. The day after she was to have called, I emailed the same question to the office. Again I received no response. The following two days I left voicemails and received no response. That brought us to the end of that week. The following Monday I left another voicemail which was ignored. The office has exhausted its chances. It has completely lost my trust, and I found it necessary to warn anyone using YELP not to give this office the chance to disappoint him or her as well. If I have not heard from the office by the end of this week, I shall file a complaint with the government entity that oversees dental offices.

I am currently in month 3 of wearing clear retainers (off brand Invisalign) here at the dentistry…read more I have worn 7 trays for 2 weeks each so far. The process through the first 7 trays was I show up to the office and they hand me my next pair of trays to wear, usually giving me 2 or 3 at a time. Ive been wearing them consistently and doing my part, so when I went into the office on June 16th, I was expecting to receive at least my 8th, 9th, and possibly 10th set of trays. They didn't give any trays and instead asked if I wanted to continue wearing the trays, I was shocked why they asked that question because my teeth obviously weren't shifted to be straight yet. So I told the office I wanted to continue. They then said they had to order the next set of trays, which I was already shocked by, since I went into the office that day, for the purpose of picking up the next set of trays, it should've already been ordered weeks before. It was Thursday (June 16th) and I told them I had plans to go to europe with family next week and said can I get them expedited so they can get to me early next week. They didn't say they can expedite it to me. So I was patient, I called them a week later on Thursday (June 23). Then they said it may be 2 to 3 weeks, blaming the retainers company. I explained to them that my family was now in Europe but I was still here waiting for the retainers. Now we are on Tuesday (June 28), I went into the office and now I'm being told there is no timetable on when the retainer will be coming, no shipment date, no communication. So I put off almost 2 weeks of a family vacation just to hear them tell me they have no clue when the retainer will be in when they could have told me that original Thursday on June 16th. I asked again if they can expedite it to me and now they said they can if I go to Europe, but when I asked originally they didn't say they would. I am super disappointed in the service and extreme lack of communication that cost me the majority of a trip with family because they couldn't be straight with me from the get to. I was never reached out to once to be given an update, I had to call every single time even though they told me they would call me back with an update. They led me to believe I would get them back way sooner and now we are at 2 weeks of waiting and no timetable of when I will get my next pair of retainers. I've also been wearing the same retainer for 3 and a half weeks and it's broken into 3 pieces now and we can't do anything. If this review is updated to higher stars, it means that the service was improved after, if not, this review stays the same.

But I was eating dinner and it broke and so I had to make an appointment with my dentist. They are absolutely wonderful here, everyone here is so sweet and caring. They truly care about their patients and their teeth. I had to get a root canal done on my broken molar. I have had my share of dental trauma while pregnant for 7 months straight, so it's scary for me to go to the dentist now but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had a panic attack cause I was so nervous. They tried to give me laughing gas but it made me even more anxious so just did it without, ended up getting through a 3 1/2 procedure. They turned on a movie for me and gave me a blanket and even a massage chair with heat. They are wonderful at making you feel comfortable and cared for! I highly recommend this dentist office for dental work. My friend actually referred me here and I am so grateful he did. Thank you guys for everything for working with me and helping me calm down during this visit. So sorry I was so nervous but it's been a journey for me all around. I appreciate you guys. I will be back so I can finish everything but I am happy it is fixed for now! Thank you again so much for your caring hearts and for taking care of my broken Molar for me today. He showed me a booklet explaining root canal, went over every page with me, and did the work the following morning. He is compassionate, explains procedures thoroughly, keeps himself educated on new techniques, and is a perfectionist in his work. He utilizes computer-administered local anesthesia and does laser dentistry. His hygienist is tops, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. We have been going to Dr. Lewis for at least 15 years.
