It was perfectly decorated, the horses and animals looked very healthy and well-kept. What an amazing event we attended last night. A private carriage ride through the decorated grounds ending with a few private minutes with the real Santa Claus. It was chilly so dress warm but it was an awesome experience. Horses are beautiful and powerful, we had two Clydesdale horses named Chip and Sarge who will be pulling a carriage in the Rose Parade this year. Our carriage driver was great, engaged in conversation, and answered all the kids' questions about the animals and the property. The grounds were fun as well. An old school teeter-totter kept the kids busy while we waited and there's an old horse drawn trolley that was lit with Christmas lights, great for a few family photos. read more

We took our 5 kids to see Santa in his workshop on the carriage ride and they LOVED it!! Santa was wonderful and he even spent time telling them all about his special key he uses to get into houses without a chimney. They are still telling people what they learned. The staff was all incredibly kind, courteous, and professional. I wish I could remember his name, but the gentleman who checked us in, made my kids hot chocolate, and then helped them take turns on the see-saw was AMAZING! The Santa's Workshop carriage ride was the most amazing experience. We have four children and they ALL were entranced and awe-struck. It was a beautiful morning to surprise the kids with a carriage ride to see Santa. They are being very careful in keeping with staying 6 feet apart and wearing masks. We were greeted by friendly staff and immediately directed to a comfortable carriage pulled by a beautiful horse. He takes us around and we go through the area talking to other Santa helpers including a nutcracker! We enter a festive decorated barn where we can talk to Santa from a distance. Cute teeter totter while you wait. 5 tables and a couple of benches by the patio, plenty of grass to walk or bring a blanket to sit while you wait your time for your carriage. The littles were dressed in costume. No candy there. No drinks. Outhouse for bio break needs. So bring your own cooler, your own candy, and hold your bodily fluids unless you want to use the outhouse. Booked tickets on the website on my computer. Email sent had the address of where this carriage ride was located. They have your name on a clip board, you do not need to print out the ticket. This is a family owned business. The entire family help with the tour and they do such an amazing job. We reserved this company for a relatives surprise birthday and it was awesome! There were clean outdoor bathrooms near the outdoor table area where we set up our food and drinks. When it was time for our tour the gentleman gave us plenty of advanced notice and we boarded the carriage to start. At one point during the tour we stopped for pictures and the youngest daughter was so helpful volunteering to take pictures for everyone. Upon return from the carriage tour, we were given time to eat, drink, and chat before the grape stomping competition began (a must-do). We had such a great time and it was so much fun I would absolutely recommend this family business to anyone. Recommendations: if you're doing the grape stomping, pants are fine-just make sure you can fold them up a bit so they don't get dirty. Also, an extra pair of shoes or sandals, and a towel to clean up, but they provide a wash area to clean your feet which is also fine. read more

We attended the Headless Horseman event this past weekend. It was perfect since it was a full moon and made the event even more eerie. The drive was nice since it's only 30 mins from Riverside. The roads to the TCC were pretty dark so we had to turn our brights on and drove slowly. We got there about 15 mins before our scheduled time. We were warmly greeted by the host. The event was well organized where the wait to get on the carriage went pretty quick! While on the carriage, our driver was awesome with her story telling skills. We loved the child actors and the adult actors as well. The Clydesdale horses that pulled our carriages were healthy and beautiful horses. You can tell they are well taken cared of. I know Halloween has passed but pls when you can visit this carriage company since they have different events happening. We will be coming back with our family to include our grandkids for the winter/Christmas event! read more

This is our 3 year doing the headless horseman ride, my kids love it, every year the carriage company mixes it up so you never know what to expect. We did it 2 times this year and each ride was different. I love hearing my kids laugh with their friends about the characters and what scared them. Had a great time attending a bachelorette party here. We started our day by dropping off our items in a picnic area. Soon after that, we boarded our horse drawn carriage, led by Mark. It was nice going through the countryside because you felt like you were in a different world. Once we got back, we had a grape stomp! I want to begin by saying that when I spoke to Mariahka on the telephone she was so helpful and patient with all my questions which was much appreciated. We came here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday with a covered wagon ride through the Wilson Creek Winery and a tour of the stables (because she loves horses). All of the staff was very warm and patient with the varied ages, fitness levels and personalities of our group. We paid extra to have a picnic lunch afterwards on the grounds which exceeded our expectations...there was much variety in the sandwich offerings (including catering to our 3 vegetarians) and we were provided 2 charcuterie boards in addition. The table was in a nice shady part of the garden. We had a very pleasant visit. Remember to bring cash for tipping as there is no place nearby to get any. read more

We attended the Headless Horseman Wagon Ride on October 14, 2023. The environment fits in nicely with the Legend of Sleepy Hollow as it within the Temecula wine country. We found this event great for families with small children, however we recommend preparing children that everything they will experience is only make-believe. The ride is about 20 minutes which seems about right. Our coach-driver did a great job narrating the ride and the live actors acted their heart out! My wife and I went on their Headless Horseman carriage ride last weekend. It just sounded like some silly Halloween fun and the price was reasonable. Our carriage had 6 adults and one teenager, and I was a little concerned when the driver said that was unusual, that they usually have mostly kids. At that point I was wondering if we'd made a mistake. The carriage ride wound around several acres, past some well decorated areas and spooky areas, had several jump scares, a very funny bandit tried to rob us, and of course, the Headless Horseman. Overall, it was enjoyable and it was obvious the crew was having fun with it. The staff, before, during and after the ride were very friendly and accommodating and made every attempt to make the ride a fun experience. First time doing the Santa Workshop Christmas carriage ride, and it was truly magical! They were running just a tad bit behind, but that's to be expected the day before Christmas Eve. Not to worry, they had plenty to entertain us while waiting. Including free hot chocolate, bonfires, lawn games, and a Christmas kids movie playing. Once we had our carriage, our driver Amelia was super sweet and very informative. She made our little journey very fun and memorable. My daughter was wide eyed and enjoyed every second of it. I scheduled a Vineyard Valentines ride as a surprise for my girlfriend and it was an amazing experience. Mark was a great host and carriage driver. Floyd, their Clydesdale, was awesome for our pictures to commemorate the occasion. Our carriage ride was calm but very eventful. Riding through the vineyards we were able to see some of the local wildlife in their natural environment which in my opinion was as exciting and intriguing as the sunset we got to see that evening. The picnic basket that came with our ride was delicious and the gazebo at the carriage house was the perfect place to enjoy it after the ride itself.
