I've traveled all around the world, Europe, Asia, Latin America (third world countries), and have never experienced the level of incompetence I experienced at Temecula Creek Inn. My husband and I planned an anniversary weekend away, organized a babysitter for the weekend to spend in wine country, and booked and paid, in full, a stay at Temecula Creek Inn. When we arrived at check in, they told us they had no room for us! They explained away that the room had flooding, but this was just a poor excuse for overbooking their hotel (all the while they were checking in other guests). I have never had a hotel EVER cancel our paid in full booking, most legitimate businesses that take pride in hospitality would go out of their way to provide an upgrade. But what did Temecula Creek Inn do? They rebooked us at the Hampton Inn down the street, not even at a similar resort. If we wanted to stay at the Hampton Inn, we would have booked it. But not for our anniversary weekend, which we planned to wine taste and golf. Totally inexcusable. They offered us a refund, but could not produce a receipt. Instead they wrote down the confirmation number on a written piece of scrap paper...what is this, a ghetto hostel? This change of plans completely ruined our evening dinner plans, as we spent this time having to move and check into a different hotel. Be beware, if you have an important event planned, please stay away from this hotel. It's staff is ill prepared to solve any customer service issues, and obviously, its facilities are sub par if "flooding" is occurring in multiple rooms. read more

I wanted to have my wedding here but the staff is really unprofessional!!! 1st - It took me over a week to get a hold of someone...I left message after message and email after email. 2nd - When we finally got in touch with someone and set up appointment she was over 30 min LATE and left us waiting!!! 3rd- After meeting with her and taking a tour she was so "busy" she didn't have much time to talk answer our questions!!! 4th -After all this westill wanted to peruse with having our wedding here but when we went to do the $$$ she had failed to mention the crazy min they had. 5th If it rains and you have your wedding outside then tough luck you get moved into the ballroom and you don't get your money back for the difference of the venue! These people are terrible!!!! I refuse to have my wedding at a place where people are rude and incompetent! My husband and I stayed here for a quick trip through wine country. Check in was nice and easy. We went to our room and the TV didn't work and smelled like marijuana. We called the front desk and they sent someone with keys to a new room and the second room was much better. The service was great, the amenities are just a little outdated, but still nice. Interested in booking this location for our wedding we visited mid Nov 2015 and were advised only two Saturdays were available for 2016 (April/Sept). After our in person visit we reached out in Jan and were told the dates we discussed were not available but that one Saturday in August, two in November and all in December are now open. The new pricing we were given required a minimum of about 19k for food & beverage however due to the required 21% service 8% tax and roughly $4,500 site rental fee ends up bringing the required booking Minimum to about $30k. Of course we could book on a Friday to honor our original quote. Considering we were advised the location does not provide a day of coordinator, room group discounts or really no perks this is pretty steep compared to its comps. After reviewing yelp it seems that room discounts have been given and the few times I called to book an appointment and was unable because the wedding coordinator was "doing a wedding" leads me to believe they also provide this service. I'm not sure if the fact that we are an interracial couple is why we seem to be treated differently or maybe it was the fact I mentioned my fathers disability. But I do know that one of two things are true either the associates at Temecula Creek Inn are liars or they conduct business so poorly that they have had 8 weddings cancel on them this year. I dug through the reviews to find happy bride stories but don't see any. One father of the bride five star and another vague 4 star that raves about service with the rooms not the wedding. Check out Lake Oak Meadows, we will be. They are super up front about standard pricing (no ever changing hand typed excel sheets like this place) and offer a ton of extras for the big day. read more

We went and golfed Creek/Oaks, but after nine holes we stopped at the snack bar and got hot dogs for all 4 of our group....they were horrible...old stale buns, and the hot dog itself was dry, old and not good at all. This was on Fathers Day and very busy...I wish they had a rating separate for just this grill/snack bar area because the golf course was great, well taken care of...but for $5.00 for a old stale hot dog...was dissappointed. I came here for a private event. I had heard wonderful things about the property. The reception staff were nothing short of rude, uninformative and couldn't be bothered. When I asked where I could find a specific ballroom, the woman waved me away with her hand - and said "It's over there close to the restaurant"...and then dismissed me. Normally my next question would have been asking where (exactly) the restaurant was, since it wasn't obvious, nor can it be seen from the hotel lobby - but I just set off on my own and ended up walking into to several dead ends and a couple of parking lots before I actually found it. Our bartender for the event was lovely, though - and our buffet was absolutely delicious but you can't unmake a "first" impression and overall I was disgusted by the front staff's attitude. read more

We were invited to a wedding this past weekend at Temecula Creek Inn. Since this was our 1st time staying at Temecula Creek Inn I decided to book our room for the weekend for a mini vacation. We checked into our room on Friday, the room I was given was not exactly what I had seen on there website, my room faced the parking lot with a big tree in the front of the window and the other window we had faced the stair corridor, for the price I paid for my room I was hoping for a view of there breath taking golf did not have that, also the television keep loosing the signal so with no TV most of the time and with no view the only else thing I could do was look at the view of the parking thru the trees or stairs. For the price I paid for my room I could of booked another room at a hotel down the road at a lesser price and had a full view of the parking lot. Will I ever stay at the Temecula Creek Inn? never, will I suggest for friends to stay there? no way. Very disappointed with your Inn. read more

I still like South Coast Winery Villas better, BUT this place really isn't bad if you don't want to stay at the chain hotels along the 15. It's an old place, but they've done a pretty good job of updating the Inn and decorating the rooms. We were in Room 110 (a handicapped room) which was next to the waterfalls (by the restaurant and bar) so we opened our patio door and listened to the calming fall of water. They were very smart and provided a corkscrew and bottles of water in the room too. Bath & Body Works toiletries are nice to have. It's also close to Old Town where we grabbed a late breakfast the next morning (review of The Gambling Cowboy coming soon!) Which reminds me, the 12pm checkout time is awesome if you will be enjoying yourself the night before. The only negatives: since it's an old building we could hear the people above us stomping around and the carpet could use a good cleaning. read more

Stayed here again just for one night 8/4/2013,I so love this place! I bought a group golfer special a one night stay with unlimted golfing, you can't beat that. My boyfriend was in heaven. We were in a different room this time which didnt have the balcony looking over the golf course, but, still the room was nice. The golf courses were really nice easy to follow. The people giving you the golf carts were very friendly and helpful we played all three courses which was cool. The only complanit i have was on yesterday we had to take two of the carts back because they kept dying out. They deff need to make sure they charge those bad boys :(. But, we actully ended up with our cart we had on Sunday again which was the good cart it had speed :) so then we were good again. The resturant they have there is so great went three times. We went there for breaskfast the first time we came here in the past and it was good also. So overall I had a good stay again the first time was so quick this time we were able to really get the feel of this place. The other complanit I do have is when I got here, I had my boyfriend go in to see if we could check in early. Maybe he didnt look the part but, he was told there were no early check in's the only reason we asked because we had stuff in the car we wanted to keep cool. But, we did in up finding some shade. But, my boyfriend avised me a lady ahead of him was told thy had a early checkin and which she was given one. So we parked and I called the front desk and told the young lady on the phone that I was just coming in and wanted to see about a early check in and this was just 5 seconds after my boyfriend was told no. She said let her check to see if she had any rooms available. But, why would you have any rooms available when you just told my boyfriend no! Then there shouldnt be any right? Well at that point I just hung up the phone, didnt want to deal with that. That was just a little fishy to me. But, overall I had a blast will deff comeback. read more

My boyfriend and I just spent my birthday at Temecula Creek Inn hotel and we loved everything from the location, the view, our room and amazing customer service. The gentlemen who helped book our reservation was so helpful and helped me with some questions I had about other tours in temecula, he even so kindly gave us a room upgrade for my bday. The young lady at the front desk when we got there was very enthusiastic and made us feel welcomed and helped with dinner recommendations. We were even interested in planning our wedding there and Sharri was so helpful over emails unfortunately we were not able to find time during our stay to get a tour so maybe the next time we come out. But while we were there I saw that they were having a wedding that weekend and all the guests that would come in looked like they were having a great time all the way to the welcome bags they got assuming from the b&g but nice of the front desk to handle giving them all out to everyone that came for wedding. We didnt get to see our room right when we got there since we had to jump straight on to our wine shuttle tour but was such a nice surprise when we got back to our room to not only find a nice room with great balcony but also a nice warm hand written card wishing me a happy birthday and welcome with a bottle of wine. We stayed this past weekend for my daughters wedding and my first impression of the grounds were incredibly beautiful. I had gotten on site early to play golf with my future son-in-law, his family and friends. Had gone to the front desk to inquire about getting an early check in for later in the day for my family and and a very nice staff member named Suriyai was so FANTASTIC, she was friendly, kind and accommodating.She checked me in on the spot and put us close to our daughter which was extremely helpful. She allowed me to check my father in the morning of the wedding due to his handicap which relieved stress for our wedding timeline. The staff at the golf course was helpful and understanding the situation with our large group. The course was fun and challenging. Now the staff at the wedding at the Stone house was outstanding, the wedding coordinator was on point and the night was magical. I would recommend Temecula Creek Inn for a wedding or even just a stay. Thank You Temecula Creek Inn for making my daughters day special. read more

I had a wonderful stay here and my room was facing the golf course. It was within five minutes of Pechanga Casino so that was a plus. Room service was awesome and the food was good. The only thing that didnt make this stay five stars is the exterior of the hotel which looked old so I was concerned but when I went inside it was all good. read more

This hotel is grossly overpriced and with terrible customer service. We paid over $500 for our 2 day stay and when we called to find the phone charger we left in the room, we were placed on hold for more than 30 minutes. When we asked for them to ship it to us, they asked for my credit card number! All they could do was offer ground shipping with no tracking, after my protest. The hotel was definitely below average and NOT worth the money. The rooms were outdated and semi clean at best. Save your money! read more

We received a gift card for Temecula Creek Inn for $250, my husband has played golf their and really likes it, but he has never stayed the night (since we're so close in Orange County no need). But since we had the gift card we decided to give it a try. BAD MISTAKE. We got a King corner view room (cost $200/night) that in the picture on the website looks amazing - so not the case upon arrival. The room was so musty - like it hadn't been used in several months. We opened all the sliders and the window in the bathroom and left the room to air out. We went to Pechanga for about 4 or 5 hours (we wished we had stayed there), got back to our room to find it still musty. YUCK. The place is so run down that they should really consider remodeling soon. Also the view from both patios was awful, one side was nothing but shrubbery and the other side was part of the next building over - and beyond that we could see the golf course - not much to look at if you ask me. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else! read more

If you are looking for an affordable but no luxury golf resort, this is the place. Upon arrival we went into our room and noticed how dirty the walls were, that we had been placed in a room with the wrong amount of beds and that the bath room fan didn't work. We asked the front desk to correct the bed mistake and were told there weren't any rooms that we had reserved open. If we wanted to change rooms halfway through our stay we would have to change rooms, even though we had reserved another room. At this time we also reported the fan in the bath room didn't work. We had dinner at the resort that night and I would recommend skipping dinner here as it's very over priced and you could get a better meal for have the cost elsewhere. The next day I went to the fitness center and noticed there was no sanitizer to spray off any equipment after I was through running. I notified the front desk of this and they said they'd tell house keeping. We were there 5 days and every day I used the fitness center and reported that there was still no sanitizer , it was never taken care of. Gross. The good points were that the golf course was beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. I will not stay here again as I feel I could stay at a motel and it would be cheaper and probably cleaner. read more

We went to Temecula for a romantic weekend getaway last weekend. Did a great balloon ride and wine tasting tour (with the excellent Temecula Valley Balloon Tours) and got the Stay and Play package at the Temecula Creek Inn. The Stay and Play package was great because they allow you to substitute an in-room massage for a round of golf. Perfect for us. I was reluctant to stay at this hotel because some the negative reviews spooked me. I also asked around and got very lukewarm recommendations. But I booked it anyway because the golf / in-room massage deal sounded so perfect. I'm happy to report it was! I was prepared to be disappointed in the hotel and the shape of the golf course but they we both in great shape. The rooms could use a little updating but everything was pleasant and clean. No complaints whatsoever. And the setting is gorgeous. This is one beautiful property. The staff was helpful and competent. I can give an unqualified recommend to the Temecula Creek Inn. It's not a five star hotel but it's a great place to stay. read more

if i could give ten stars i would. from the registration to arrival to extra late check out. the staff made our stay incredible. the place is clean and on a gorgeous golf course. dog super friendly. the front desk megan attended to all our needs and was just too sweet. we ended up out late and our friends needed a room but they were sold out but sent someone with linen at 3am to turn down the couch bed for them. then they allowed us to keep the dogs in the room after checkout for an hour to go downtown. i cant say i enough . . this my new fav getaway spot. cant wait to be back an stay longer and tty the restaurant. best all around experience . read more

For what you pay, the place is way over priced. Housekeeping never replaced the towels with clean ones. They just kept picking up the old towels. Pretty soon, we were out of towels. Called 3 times just to get clean towels. Finally showed up with them at 12:30 AM. TV signal didn't work. AC was not working half the time. Oh and don't flush the toilet while someone is in the shower. You'll get fried! read more

The hotel was beautiful, clean with heated pool and jacuzzi and huge private outdoor patio in our room. The view is one of a kind. Will definitely be back. Not sure why so many bad experiences here but we had a great time. Room was nice with wonderful luxurious spa quality robes, great views of golf course, and all staff was friendly. We had some issues with food quality at the restaurant but our server sought to satisfy us and we left with a very satisfied opinion of the experience although some of the food quality was not up to par for the price. FARMHOUSE RESTAURANT: My husband and I wanted to treat a very good friend to breakfast at the Farm House Restaurant. The renovation of the restaurant is handsome and the staff friendly although not well trained. Our breakfast was a disaster. The food was delivered cold, my order was incorrect, the breakfast potatoes were the cubed frozen vaiety you can buy in any grocery store, the biscuits were delivered frozen on the inside, and the whole wheat pancakes had NO flavor. What a tremendous disappointment. Our server did not know the menu since she primarily works the evening shift. She was gracious enough to delete the incorrect order and the frozen biscuits. It is a shame that a beautiful restaurant has such horrible food. read more

I stayed at this hotel during my cousins wedding which was being held at a nearby winery. My experience was not good, here are some highlights. Both times I used the shower it made a loud shrieking and clanking sound as it tried to find some hot water, there was no water pressure to speak of. We called the front desk at 5:00 and asked to have the pull out couch made up while we were at the rehearsal dinner. When we arrived back at 10:00 it was not done. We called again and they sent someone down. While the bed was being made up my mother saw blood stains on the bed pad. The employee was just going to make up the bed over it. She had to ask for a clean mattress pad. Gross! The pull out couch was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on in my life! Let's just say my family didn't love listening to me complain as I tried to get myself comfortable. Let's just say I got the nickname 'the hulk' during this trip. The second night I asked the maid cleaning our room for another heavy blanket (so I could lay it down on the sofa bed and hopefully wouldn't feel the bar across my back or the springs. When I got home from the wedding we did not have the blanket. The attention to customer service was just the worst. While walking past the front desk the first morning I saw coffee pots and was so excited since I desperately needed a coffee. When I went to make myself a cup it of course was empty. I asked the woman at the front desk if there was any more and she said 'oh sorry, it will be a while. I need to have more made at the restaurant'. Now why in the world wouldn't they have fresh coffee routinely put out? Especially on a Saturday morning. They just didn't seem to care about your experience. I would not stay here again. read more

Temecula Creek Inn is officially my favorite place ever! My husband and I got married at the Stone House in March, and we absolutely loved it! The Stone House was everything we imagined for our wedding and more! It truly is the most unique and special venue I have ever been to! All of our family and friends can't stop talking about how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to, and that is mainly because we had it at Temecula Creek Inn! The onsite coordinator, Jenny Peralta, is the best! Not only is she adorable and so sweet, she is incredibly organized and quick to respond to all of my questions! She helped me to make my dream wedding a reality! The day flowed absolutely seamlessly! Everything from my ceremony to the last song at my reception was a memory that my husband and I will treasure forever because of the amazing surroundings that the Stone House offered! We would literally get married there every single day, if it were possible! I can't say enough great things about Temecula Creek Inn, The Stone House, and all of the staff we were able to work with! I had my wedding at the Stone House in June and could not be more pleased with TCI's committment to detail, professionalism, and organization. This rating is for the snack area for golfers. Today I'm playing twilight and after finishing the front nine I wanted to grab a soda and hotdog. So I park my cart and start to walk towards the snack shack and the girl working inside stood by the window and watched me walk all the way to door and then watched me pull the locked door (I didn't know that) like an idiot. Then she grabs the envelope that I assume she puts her money in for the day, licks it, seals it, then stands there to watch me walk away like some kind of asshole. I don't understand why she didn't give me a hand signal or shake her head to let me know it was closed as I walked up instead of just watching me look stupid but I found that completely disrespectful. And pathetic. If you would have given me some sort of sign that it was closed I would of just said ok and walked away no big deal. But to do what you did at a resort type facility like that was disrespectful. read more

Beautiful location ! My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday. We are so glad we did ! Great balcony views with green grounds and a wonderful restaurant . The rooms are big and upgraded . The grounds are very clean and rustic . The golf course is well manicured and the ponds are clean . You don't see that too often on golf courses . I will definitely return to visit here . This is a beautiful place and the scenery is amazing. Peaceful and calming environment. Only reason giving 3 stars. We stayed in room 311 overnight the pool and jacuzzi were not the cleanest. In the room The restroom sink kept flooding and the shower had no hot water at all! We had to take cold showers was the worst. I had called front desk to inform them all they said was sorry and they will send someone as soon as possible the thing was I had to leave before anyone could come and fix it. At check out i informed the front desk of there being no hot water all they could do was apologize then over herd other people having problems with their room flooding. read more

Had another very nice couple days stay at Temecula Creek Inn. Food is great, staff is wonderful and the golf courses are fun. The only glitch is this - with a round of golf you are supposed to get a $25 credit on dinner at their Cork Fire restaurant. We were told this when we bought our second round. When we told TWO of the pro shop staff that we weren't informed of this on our first day's round, all they said was "Sorry about that." No offers to give a belated credit that we were entitled to or any attempt at all to fix this staff oversight of the employee who sold us the first round. read more

I give this Resort 4 stars because the service at cork fire kitchen and the outdoor venue was fabulous and spectacular. Our room was not super clean and really was in desperate need of updating. The closet doors, which were made out of wood branches, desperately needed to be dusted. The whole room could have been cleaner as well. Bathroom had a bulb out and toilet was off kilter. Tub was a slowwww drain. But service from maid to restaueant fun and friendly. This could easily be 5 stars. Needs TLC read more
