I have been coming to Temecula Orthodontics since I was probably 8 when I first got braces and now 12 years later, the service is still fantastic, even when it's just a retainer check-up. I had a terrible gap in the middle of my teeth and lots of crowding and you would never be able to tell from my teeth now. The office has always been very flexible in finding appointments that work with my mom's work schedule and my school schedule. Dr. Luther always asks about my life and remembers our conversations even months between appointments. He does an amazing job at working through any problems my teeth have faced. I have one big complaint! And that is there's absolutely no communication! And they don't answer their phones. I've left multiple voicemails and no call back how are we suppose to reschedule appointments!!!!! This is so frustrating. The customer service sucks! I really hope someone reaches out as I've tried multiple times to try and reschedule my son who's is seen here. read more

Lady who worked in the Office told me off and said "This is not a closed mouth game" I literally was opening my mouth and never closing it. Why would I close it if I had done this a million times? Stupid. Also please never go there, and if you do don't go back there. The Lady only put on my wires and colors for my braces for only 5 minutes. It takes longer than that. Horrible!! There is no organization, professionalism or proper customer service within the practice and promptness is non-existent. Even when scheduled you will not be seen ontime rather hours later. For such a large patient flow there is only 1 Orthodontist which wouldn't be an issue if he saw patients more than once a week, as he did when we started 5 hears ago. The front office manager/biller Modesta does not know how to conduct proper business and will quote you a price and forget what she quoted you even if you have copies to prove it. Dr. Luther is a great Orthodontist and tried to keep the piece when there was one of the many unprofessional situations to occur with the front office staff and my husband which left us to feel racially discriminated. The clientele is majority Hispanic with staffing being only Hispanic with the exception of Dr. Luther. Being of Hispanic and African American descent I didn't notice this until after going a year or 2 and not seeing any diversity. Mind you I had no intention on writing a review or mentioning any of this had it not been so apparent what was taking place at our last and final visit. This is truly sad to witness when I've been going to this practice with my my entire family for Orthodontic care well over 5 years now. I finally had enough of the charades when on 08/17/22 my daughter and I were scheduled but called ahead of time to ask would we be seen early if we came earlier for retainer check and advised by Chris (front office staff) that we would be seen earlier, that wasn't the case. When we entered the office there wasn't anyone else there, but shortly after signing in other appointments arrived and were seen right away. As we sat there 45 minutes later without being advised or notified that we'll be seen soon my daughter and I decided to make this our final time at this office and leave not receiving all the treatment I've paid for and seeking care elsewhere that puts customer service and professionalism first and foremost. read more

I came for my appointment that was scheduled at 11am. They did not see me until 11:30. They took me back and explained to me that my impression was broken and they didn't have my new retainers ready. I requested time off from work to be at this appointment just to hear that terrible news. It's literally always something new at this office (and I have not complained until today, because today was just one of the many last straws in me with this office). I live 45 minutes away, they could have given me a call and advised me. It's very upsetting. Working in customer service, when we don't have equipment or there is an issue we advise the customer at least 24 hours in advance. That courtesy call would have definitely been great. read more

Been coming here with my daughter for the past 2 years. She had a cross tie that needed some attention. Dr. Luther is amazing, he is very friendly, she fees comfortable with the staff all bring very friendly. I was informed at the beginning of her treatment that it would be a 2 phase treatment so I was bracing myself for the cost. Imagine my surprise when they informed me that Medi-Cal could cover the second half of her treatment. Overall we are happy with her progress, her bite is getting better and we definitely see the difference. read more

Been going here for two years now, I like the orthodontist but EVERY. SINGLE. APPOINTMENT. I dont get called back untill 35 minutes to 50 minutes after appointment time. And then when you get called back they dont start working on you up to even 20 minutes after you're sitting in the chair. Today was the worst where I came in for my appointment scheduled at 9:30 on time and didnt get called back until 10:20. Not happy at all. Makes the appointment useless.... if it were once in awhile ok but this is definitely an every office visit experience. I wish they would manage their schedules and staffing better to avoid this. read more

My daughter has been coming here for two years and every appointment has been late, oftentimes up to 30-45 minutes delayed. It's also hard to get appointments. The quality of care is the same as anywhere else. The staff is nice. They have a sign that says they will charge $75 for 24 hour cancellations or no-shows. I have been very pleased with Dr. Luther and his staff. My granddaughter just got her braces off after 2 years and the results are stunning. She gets compliments all the time. Her teeth are perfectly straight and beautiful. I like the new hours for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, they are open from 7 am to 7 pm. Lots of time to get in before or after school. My daughter came to Dr.Luther DDS for a consult for braces, he gave her an exam and talked us through the process she would need to go through in order to realign her teeth. We really appreciated the communication as this was all new to us. The office staff is friendly and timely. We appreciated the dental assistants as they were always kind to my daughter and made sure she had the appropriate care plans when leaving the office. The ladies in the office are always very accommodating, covid has been hard, but they still make sure to get us in and seen if needed. The office gets us in and out as quickly as possible. All covid protocols are followed and there's never more than a couple people in the waiting room. We are very pleased with the cleanliness and customer service. We bump into a lot of people we know, so this doctor is well known :) I've only ever had one lady be a bit snappy on the phone, but no other issues.
