Our driver to San Diego, Greg, was fantastic--our group really appreciated him. He drove carefully through the hilly wine country roads and even made a bathroom stop before we hit the highway. He also let us connect our phones to the sound system so we could play our own music, which was a fun touch. Our return experience, however, was less positive. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the woman's name, but it felt like it may have been her first day. She mentioned more than once that she had no experience driving that type of van and even said something about the brakes not being in great condition. At one point, she almost hit another car on the highway and was driving way too fast through the hills. The trip overall had some great moments, especially thanks to Greg, but the return journey raised some serious concerns.

What an incredible day we had recently aboard the Temecula Tasting Shuttle! Armed with our SIP Passports and a beautiful day ahead of us, we were free to hop up and down Rancho California Road, choosing our own winery adventures while the shuttle handled the driving. We'd hop off, enjoy each stop for 1¼ hours or so, then be picked up for the next one -- so easy and stress-free. And if we'd wanted to linger longer at any stop? No problem...just hop on the next shuttle! Our group kicked things off at Monte De Oro Winery with charcuterie and wine while soaking in gorgeous vineyard and mountain views. Next up was Carter Estate Winery and Resort, where Emily guided us through seated personalized wine flights in their beautiful tasting room. Ready for a late lunch, we hopped off at Europa Village Wineries & Resort where we enjoyed delicious shared small bites on Bolero's patio. Our final stop of the day was a favorite of mine -- Halter Ranch Temecula -- for some of their fabulous effervescent rosé while reflecting on our truly amazing day.
