They charged a comparably lower diagnostic rate than their competitors. They showed up on time and were professional and were able to find the issue (blown capacitor) quickly and get it repaired for a reasonable price. I've saved them in my phone for future reference and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs their HVAC serviced.

I Googled what is generally performed for standard a/c tune up. Here is what I did not see the Tech doing. Did not check refrigerant level. Did not open up furnace to inspect or clean evaporator coils. Did not test refrigerant levels. Did not lubricate moving parts. Did not test capacitors or amp draws. Asked for hot water tank flush. Mine had a weird ball drain valve. The last hot water tank installer put in to let out more sediment out from tank. It was not standard. Power Tech had to procure a fitting in order to allow garden hose type thread to be installed. It did not help that my floor drain was clogged in the basement. Another drain was located and the Tech's self coiling hose had to be stretched out to extreme extent. It put pressure on the fitting. And that made it so the water was squirting out of the fitting and getting all over the basement floor. The Tech only drained the tank once. No flushing/purging/refilling to get all the sediment out. No safety and components check. Tech should have stated a proper flushing could not be perform. Tech was on the phone much of the time. I ultimately left the room so tech could take his calls. 6/24/26 I wanted to update my review after owner commented. When I hired you, your demeanor should have been professional from the start. No customer should have to call you back a second time to ask you do to a proper job. You initially earned my trust when I hired your company. You have lost my trust by performing a really subpar job, but still collected top tier pay for the services. You have cost me to spend double and hire another company who will do the proper job. The job you performed was something I could, and have, done in the past MYSELF. I would not recommend your company.

Called earlier today, Ryan answered, was available in a couple of hours. He was really professional. Put in a new pump, tested everything, checked the unit outside, filter on the heater, made sure everything is running good. Nice guy, great price!! He said he worked for a couple of the bigger HVAC companies before he and his two brothers started their business. We recommend them for all your HVAC business!!

I made the mistake of calling the crooks from A to Z heating and cooling. Never trust this company. They charged us 600 dollars to repair some blower motor. So we go to turn on the AC this summer, it doesn't work. I get suspicious that the criminal they sent out did something to rig it thinking we would call them to come out and rake us over the coals again. I tried Synergy. the billing statement reads "found misplaced wire, rewired" and they only charged us the service fee. I will always use Synergy from now on and highly recommend them. We are in bankruptcy until November, my wife is disabled and I work caring for Covid patients. We are the last people A to Z should have stolen money from, that 600 dollars really hurt us. Many thanks to Ryan and his crew for his honesty. Highly recommended.

The original installer did not do it right and did not register it properly. When I had 3 local companies come look and give an estimate for it he was the only one that took the time to verify I did still have warranty on it as well as price for new A/C. He took the time to answer all questions. After getting a detailed estimate for the fix and having them do the work they found leak and fixed it. They also fixed the other issue with it. The technicians Jeff and Jack were very professional and polite and worked on it day 1 and second day there were 3 technicians I do not know the third persons name but he was also professional. They were prompt and cleaned up after all the work. I will use them in the future for annual maintenance and would highly recommend them for work. Dawn

I want to tell you that every time I have needed them, they have responded. They "move with purpose". I never forgot that about them because heating and cooling is an essential amenity. The first time we called Pete's we had bought a house that had no furnace, central air or duct work. A huge project, expensive all by itself. We had a new baby and had to be ready to move from our apartment into the house within weeks. The level of coordination and care that Pete's has is unheard of! Even when there are other contractors involved such as electricians, they all work together with such professionalism, respect and synchronization that you literally cannot tell that they all do not work for the same company. This is no small thing if you have ever had any large projects done on your home that involved several subcontractors. It can be a nightmare, cause delays and eat up your money and sanity. The quality of work, peace of mind and overall satisfaction was worth what we paid. I believe that we received a good value on the work to begin with. The ease during the project was a bonus. This most recent time, we needed an independent heating and cooling system for the upper floor/attic space. The second levels to bungalows can be brutal in extreme heat and extreme cold. Of course, I only trusted Pete's to handle this for us. I knew that I was going to get the best deal on the unit, the labor, any sub work. I knew I would be given options on the unit to fit my needs and budget. I knew it was going to be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I knew the guys would come in, go to work, respect my home, be polite to my kids, clean up after themselves and walk me through all the details on how to use the unit and maintenance it. Once you have tried Pete's you will know whom to call the next time.
