This was on a Thursday. We did find some of the options that were in his "display" room to be a bit tattered, however, trying again to support a small business, my son did find a suit he liked. This was on a Thursday. Fast forward only 4 days, my son and his group of friends going to prom have decided to wear matching suits. I called Tuesday morning to cancel, he was curt and told me he didn't have him in his records. I told him he had spelled my sons name wrong on receipt (we corrected him when we were there but he kept calling him the wrong name) and he would find it and cancel. The conversation changed when I asked about the $20 deposit - he explained it was for his time, all the work he put into ordering, his experience and personal care he took with my son (the large frame comment must have been a bonus...). How much work could he have done in 3 days on a suit not needed for 2 more months? None. I urge you to look elsewhere - the bad salesmen pressure, unfiltered comments and unneeded chatter on how great he is compared to his competitors is both strange and made what was supposed to be an enjoyable moment a memory to try and forget.

During the appointment, the staff specifically asked for her school, grade, and which prom she was attending. That strongly implied the store tracks this information to avoid selling the same or very similar dresses to multiple students attending the same event. Despite that, at least five other girls from her graduating class have since purchased extremely similar dresses from this store. As a result, my daughter no longer feels comfortable wearing the dress she was originally so excited about. I contacted the store directly to ask why this information is collected if duplicate dresses are still sold for the same prom, and to see if there were any options to resolve the situation. The store never responded. For a business that charges premium prices and markets a personalized prom experience, this is unacceptable. If there is no exclusivity policy, customers should be clearly told that upfront. Collecting detailed school/prom information while continuing to sell near-identical dresses to the same event is misleading. Future customers should ask very specific questions about duplication and exclusivity before spending this kind of money here.

The staff at Formalwear Ltd were very friendly and knowledgeable. I visited the store multiple times as I collaborated with them and my fiance to select the perfect tux combination for my wedding. I picked up my tux a couple of days before the wedding and the size for some of the parts of it were off, but it was no problem at all as they overnighted the correct sizes. Everything fit perfectly for my wedding. If you need to rent a suit or tux for a local event, I highly recommend them!
