The place is really nice and well kept and our waitress was amazing (especially considering that she was bartending and serving in a rush). The service is regular, only my two appetizers had arrived and the waitress is already pressuring me because I wanted to order, I hadn't eaten anything, how was I going to order something else? I've been coming here for many years; At first it was on days I was shopping at the mall and then I started coming here just to eat here at my daughter's request. The servers are always friendly and the food always taste good. Maybe due to inflation, the portion of flank steak was skimpy. I ordered the wild mango extra spicy, but it was not spicy at all. The sesame chicken was flavorful and juicy. The fried gyoza had a nice crunch to it. I'm a fan of their brown rice, I never seen brown rice like this anywhere else. Just had a solid meal at Ten! Our expectations weren't super high for being in the mall, but the level of service we just had is seriously commendable. We were in and out in 45 minutes, with food that arrived to the table piping hot. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because some of the seaweed in our miso soup was hard, and we had to spit some of out. The lobster Roma roll is fresh lobster meat on top of a deep fried banana mixed with different spices. I was very stand offish of this roll but it was very good the semi sweet of the banana along with the lobster paired very well. The Thai spring rolls were very nice and crispy and not greasy they were so good we ordered a second set of them. We finished up dinner with chicken lettuce wraps which had a very nice crunch and were super fresh. The beef pad Thai was flavorful but a tad greasy. We have been going there for a while and we love the good service and fresh decent sushi. Michelle (the owner) is very attentive. We ordered: * Lychee Bubble tea ($5) * Lobster King Roll ($17) * Sushi Sandwich ($17) * Sambal Delight ($20) * 2 order of white rice ($2) Our total came out to $65.50 with tax and the food is pretty average. I would definitely pass on the bubble tea and the lobster king roll (it looks great but only tasted like lettuce and tempura crunch with hardly any lobster). The sushi sandwich had an interesting sweet and sour like sauce on it and it weirdly worked. This was our favorite roll between the two we ordered. Sambal delight was great, it had big pieces of shrimp and scallops encompassed in a shrimp paste / oyster umami sauce. It was very filling -- we paired it with white rice because it didn't come with any sides. Service here could be a lot better. When we first got seated we were literally asked if we were ready to order. Then proceeded to be asked if we were ready six times after by two different servers within five minutes. From the quick service (even though they were very busy with large parties) to the quality of their food, Ten Asian Bistro is a fantastic stop for Asian food if you are in the area or at the mall. Sushi pizza 10/10. The poke bowl 10/10. The miso soup isn't too salty- it is just right and the shrimp lo mein was a good choice for my youngest child. Today I got tofu with black bean sauce and steamed vegetable gyoza. The tofu had a good firm texture and the vegetables were all fresh and crispy. This is also the best black bean sauce I've ever tasted. These gyoza aren't the typical ones you get at most Asian places; these taste like they were made on site. I love miso soup!My other go to is the prawns (you choose any meat/seafood or tofu)in mild mango sauce w/ pineapple fried rice or shrimp fried rice. The mild mango sauce consists of fresh mangos,jicama(Mexican turnip)& red peppers. It used to be spicy I guess customers complained. The spiciness was just right but it balanced the sweetness of the mango sauce. I'm a little sad about that.I also love the avocado rolls(they roll them fresh by order). Me and my family had such a poor dining experience here. We were unhappy with one of our dishes because it had a sour smell. When we asked the manager if we can replace it with something else she was very reluctant. It also didn't seem like any of the staff were happy to serve us. Also the prices are not great despite the large portions. The quality of food just seems low and not fresh. The food is also very heavy. The seating and tables are flimsy, cheap, and not very clean. They are located at Westfield Shopping Mall and they deliver, which is quite nice. Delivery is usually quick too. I do not eat much Asian food because of allergies but I know people who adore this place. I have been inside as well and it's clean and seems high on quality unlike many places at Westfield. Their menu is pretty large and food comes out fast. They also are opened fairly late (I do not know at what time they stop delivery though). Ten Asian bistro was a good find in a really nice mall I found passing through town. This place had great prices, they had a happy hour for $5 drinks Monday-Friday 4-7pm. Also had happy hour food that looked pretty good. The decor was nice, low lit intimate lighting, and the service was pretty good. I didn't get to eat it until 45 minutes later, but the chicken was still crisp, tasty, delicious. Generous portion. Under the chicken was some asparagus. The white rice was the good kind, good quality. Not the cheap dry kind you sometimes get at other Chinese restaurants. The hot & sour soup was tasty and they don't skimp on the ingredients. I can't figure out why people wait an hour to eat at Cheesecake Factory when there is normally no lines and no waiting at 10. The place is clean and appropriately decorated. The staff are professional and courteous. The food is always good. My kids always get the shrimp tempura with the lemon cream sauce - this is a great dish. 10 special role, bonsai tree role, lobster king role were enjoyed by the family.
