Monday night Live Jazz and art in East Atlanta was the relaxation I didn't know I needed until I was seated. The lady at the door was very friendly and after giving her my name she asked where we wanted to sit. I informed her it was my first time there and she said oh well in that case I'm going to give you the couch because you are the first people here and it's your first time. So that small gesture made me happy. After me and my best friend were seated the bartender came over and took our drink order. I ordered a Tito's and Cran and he ordered a Bud Light. I started a tab. They don't serve food but they do allow you to bring food in. The band arrived and started setting up. The venue had a very cozy atmosphere. The live jazz was soothing the band sounded amazing and the host was great. The host also was the person playing the drums. They allowed others to walk in and join the band so there was a singer and a saxophonist and another pianist. An artist was doing a live painting. For the second round of drinks I ordered an old fashioned. It was good but very strong. I left out for a few minutes to go grab dessert from insomnia cookies and brought it back to the venue. We stay from 9 PM to midnight and enjoyed the entire evening. The tickets were $15 per person and I definitely look forward to coming back. I forgot the bartenders name but she was new and she was super attentive.

Nice Chill spot....Came here over the weekend. Got here a little early and they wasn't open yet. We waited outside and people watch until they opened. This area is very busy it's plenty of bars/restaurants on the strip. Once they open we walked in a sat on the couch/sectional. It was a few ppl at the bar and than it was us. Perfect for me - not too many ppl in the place. It's seating area outside if you want to sit outside. The bartender came over took our drink and hookah order. We had the house special for the hookah flavor ($30). Bartender was really friendly and checked on us from time to time. The hookah was good and fresh. Drinks were strong and music was very good. I'll definitely come back and chill here on another day.

I really enjoyed the bartender Tre he knows how to make a drink. Great conversationalist and informative about what's cool about Atlanta. The vibe here is relaxed and ambient. I love the look of spot. We were there early and there's was no dj until we were just about to leave. The removal of one star stems from the fact that I'm not a drinker for real and had two manhattan's made with Woodford reserves and didn't even get a buzz. One usually has me feeling tight and right. But maybe it was me. ‍

Cool little hole in the wall in East Atlanta Village. While bar hoping we stumbled upon Ten ATL on a Saturday. There is no cover charge. The spot is small, there is a small bar with a few seats, about 3 high top tables and several seats throughout if you are lucky enough to get one. The ambiance is chill, the lights were very dim. There was a DJ and the music was awesome, it was a good medium between modern and old school. The atmosphere was very comfortable half of the guys and women were wearing sneakers and the other half was somewhat dressed up, the crowd seemed to be 30 and over but it's hard to tell in the dark. The drinks were overpriced, the bartender told me a lemon drop with well liquor would be $8 and charged me $13.50 for my Lemon Drop with Kettle One. My friend ordered a Texas Margarita and was only charged $10 by another bartender. My bartender seemed to have pulled the price she qutoted me out her butt so that alone will prevent me from coming back to this spot especially when there are 20 other bars in walking distance that's not over charging for drinks that won't leave me with a headache. Overall, if you don't mind paying a lot for premium liquor and want a cool little hole in the wall to chill at while in East Atlanta Village , this is your spot.

A true diamond in the rough. They have hookah $10 before 10pm. And it's pretty decent too. The vibe was mellow. They played a lot of Neo-soul which was pleasing to hear. As the night progressed, a live band set up and that made the night that much more interesting. Didn't know they had all this going on at this spot. The staff's friendly and there's ample free parking which made the night more relacinr

Small and up in your space type place, now you might get mix feelings after you read this cause I had those feelings reason why they only got 3 stars. First let me say If you go for one of their live band acts get there once the doors open cause if you don't you will be standing all night. The price is over the top ridiculous I had 2 beers and it came out to nineteen dollars so from there I had a bad taste in my mouth but once the band started to play it kinda went away I enjoyed the band very much and that alone would satisfy your evening there best thing to do is go as a group get section and a bottle and enjoy yourself.......

The burger was well seasoned and delicious. Once happy hour started we all started off with the lemon drops. I had the dragonfruit and blueberry flavor. The 6th man was really good as well. We also got the snapper bites which were delicious . The ceaser salad was fresh and crunchy ( I am a salad lover and it was top tier). My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Angel can make a mean cocktail and has amazing customer service. I was bummed when they had to switch shifts at the bar because she took really good care of us. The new bartender was good but we were not a fan of her drinks. The lemon drops she made were not chilled and lacked flavor. The wings were delicious especially the garlic parm, which was my favorite. The corn ribs had a nice sweet chili sauce that hit perfectly. The oxtail and mashed potatoes were super tender, but I wasn't a huge fan of the seasoning it leaned a little sweet (I'm more used to Jamaican-style oxtails). The Tuscan chicken was creamy and perfectly breaded, and the steak was cooked just right. The mac and cheese was cheesy and comforting, though it could've used a little more seasoning. Drinks were cute and tasty but not very strong. The waitress was attentive, and the decor was cute as hell! Overall, a solid brunch spot--good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere.

There was also a DJ playing, which added a nice vibe to the atmosphere, and they have a large menu with plenty of food options. No. That's exactly how I want to start this…read more We randomly popped in wanting to give this spot a try, and I left disappointed. First off.. Thank God we came before they started charging for parking, because $50 to park in an 8‑spot lot at what is basically a hole‑in‑the‑wall is insane. Are y'all well? And I still don't know what vibe they're going for. The decor is all over the place... and then they have hookah. Hookah. HUH?!! The smell of hookah hit us the second we walked in, so we chose the patio. I loved the natural light, but the space itself was giving run‑down. The seat cushions looked like they'd been stepped on, dragged, and stepped on again. Now, the service -- I'll give credit where it's due. Our server was great. Attentive, friendly, on point. And the music was a vibe! If you come, come for the vibes and the vibes ONLY! The drinks? Meh. Not terrible, but definitely not memorable. I wasn't expecting much, and they met that expectation. The menu isn't huge, but a few things sounded promising. I ordered the Chef's Crab Soup, and honestly, it reminded me of stew beef or pot roast... but with crab. Weird description, I know, but it actually worked. It was chilly outside, so it hit the spot. We also tried the Grilled Oysters, decent flavor, but way too much breading. Then came the Shrimp Basket, which was... there. The shrimp had no seasoning, the fries had no seasoning, and the chipotle sauce tasted like absolutely nothing. The Seafood Fettuccine Pasta? NASTY. Whatever that sauce was should be illegal. Just no. I sent it back and swapped it for the Salmon Alfredo Pasta. Better? Yes, but nothing I'd ever order again.

If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food, strong drinks, good hookah, and outstanding…read moreservice, ATL Hookah Lounge in Hapeville is definitely worth checking out! It came highly recommended, so my friend and I decided to stop by on a Thursday night, and I'm so glad we did. We started at the bar, where our bartender, Tay, immediately made us feel welcome. She was attentive, personable, funny, and had excellent customer service. We kicked things off with lemon drops, and let me tell you... they were delicious! Strong, smooth, and made just right. As the evening went on, our party grew from two to six, so we grabbed a table. To our surprise, Tay transitioned from bartender to waitress, and somehow her service got even better. She never missed a beat. Since it was happy hour, we sampled several menu items, including the honey lemon pepper wings and fries, fried shrimp and fries, salmon bites and fries, fried green tomatoes, and the cornbread. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. There wasn't one item we regretted trying. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering a hookah, and it was hitting! Smooth, flavorful, and lasted throughout the night. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. It wasn't overly packed, but it had a nice crowd with great energy. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. They have two bars, plenty of seating, and even an outdoor patio area if you want a little fresh air or a more private space. Parking was free and conveniently located on-site, which is always a plus. The bathrooms were also worth mentioning--small, nicely decorated, and very clean. The prices were another pleasant surprise. Happy hour food ranged around $8-$10, hookah was about $20, and the drinks were around $8. Great food, quality drinks, and hookah without breaking the bank? That's a win. I was told Wednesday has even better specials, but Thursday definitely didn't disappoint. Overall, ATL Hookah Lounge exceeded my expectations. Between the amazing service from Tay, delicious food, strong drinks, great hookah, mature crowd, and affordable prices, this place earned every bit of its 5 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely be back!
