Five stars for the absolutely perfect service at Ten Cousins! Our waitress who clearly has kids of her own (because she was so good to ours) was just the right amount of attentive, helpful with all our requests for the kids, and fast. We loved her and that made our experience perfect. The clam chowder was delicious but served a little lukewarm for me. I still gobbled it up. The chowder was creamy and had a much appreciated potato to clam ratio. My salad was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. The apples were fresh and there was plenty of walnuts, berries and blue cheese. My husband ordered the sausage pizza and it was chef's kiss! We went to this pizza place based on Yelp reviews on July 3. Luckily we don't live near here. They were busy but no wait for a table. Then the wait began. After several tables were still waiting an hour later we were told that they were short staffed and they were really behind on orders. We ordered the pizza extra crispy and when it came it was soggy. Real soggy! The flavor was perfect, but after the wait, our complaints and the texture of the pizza we were extremely disappointed. The man who said he is part owner offered no apology and certainly didn't comp the meal. Maybe a server wouldn't comp but a part owner should have more pride in his restaurant and try to make the situation good for the customer. I've gotten pizza and pasta here before which was good but the lava cake is to die for I got it on doordash and it came cold which I thought was weird but after I finished my food I was full so the cake sat in the fridge for two days once I rediscovered it I put it in the microwave for one minute let it sit for a minute and let me tell you it was delicious this is the best thing i've ever eaten out of my microwave I cannot imagine how it taste fresh in the restaurant how ever they prepare it 10/10 amazing. read more

We were in Westport to go on a long walk along the local ocean walk preserve, and after the walk we felt a bit peckish and searched around for some food. Hubby found this place and we made our way over. When we arrived, we were pretty shocked that they don't open for lunch until noon on the dot, so we sat in the parking lot and waited. Once inside, we were seated promptly and looked over the menus. We decided to start with a cup of the crab corn chowder ($6.50), and for the entree we decided to split the brussels spouts pizza ($12.50) hold the bacon. When the chowder arrived, it was piping hot, but unfortunately had a ton of bacon and bell peppers which took me by surprise. I fished out the crab and corn anyway, and left the rest, but felt like overall, it was over-priced for the quality. When the pizza arrived, we were both impressed with the way they topped the pizza with the sprouts. I guess I hadn't thought about the HOW of the pizza, I was just thinking about the excellent crossover of the pizza and veggies, which sold me on the concept. The sprouts however were shredded and slightly under-cooked, and the balsamic drizzle, however beautiful, was overpowering and too sweet. The cheese was decent, but the crust was too crunchy for my liking and tasted over-baked and tough. The interior was clean and well-appointed, and the service was fast but not overly friendly. Prices were excellent, and there is a ton of space inside for parties, as well as plentiful parking outside. We weren't overly impressed with anything we ate, and when we return to this area, we will likely choose elsewhere to go for our next meal. read more

We all started with the Cousins' Combo which consisted of a cup of award winning corn & crab chowder with two Frenchy's stuffed clams. VERY GOOD! Went for dinner. Wanted the cousins combo which consisted of 2 stuffed clams and bowl of corn and crab soup. Unfortunately they didn't have crab soup. Then waitress came out and said they didnt have clams. So I settled for the meatball. While it was big, it came with not enough sauce. Took a star off because at the time we had made reservations for 630, I believe on their website (like I said it was a few months back). When we arrived they said they don't take reservations for parties smaller than 6 or 10 (again, I forget!). We showed them the confirmation email and was told we can wait about 30 minutes. We've been wanting to try this place and happy we finally could this past weekend for lunch. It was a gorgeous day so we opted to eat outside. Our waitress was nice but seemed timid and new. I ordered a beer and my husband got a Del's frozen lemonade. Both were perfect on such a warm day. For our food I ordered the chourico pizza. The crust was good, chourico and sauce. Didn't care for the raw peppers and onions on top though, wish they were softer. My husband got the pulled pork tacos and was pleased with the size for lunch portion. Decided to try this pizza joint after a day on Gooseberry Island. I, along with my son, my boyfriend, and his two sons, were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and came back with drink orders and to take our food order in a timely fashion. We started with the giant meatball and enjoyed it! I do wish that 4 little wedges of toasted bread came with it instead of 2 for the size of the meat ball, but that's not a big deal... We ordered 4 different pizzas and the stuffed clams and all were great! We enjoyed the type of crust, the toppings were plentiful and good quality, and the cheese pulls were epic! This pizza was definitely enjoyable - if we were locals, we'd get takeout pizza on the regular I'd imagine. Next time we're in the area (we are Rhode Islander's) we may check it out again! Only one small note... and nothing worth removing a star for... our waitress, who was super nice, seemed to be wearing an over abundance of scented lotion (or perfume or body spray or something) - I'm pretty sure I have the same Bath & Bodyworks scent actually, lol.... but it was VERY overwhelming each time she came to the table and lingered in the air. My wife and I took our son here based on friends recommendation. We each ordered our own pizza ( cheese, sausage & Pepperoni, farmers market). My wife says that one pizza is enough for two (maybe for two girls).My son and I finished ours and they were delicious! They also were filling. The space and the vibe is great. Clean, inviting and relaxed. The staff immediately greet you and the pacing of the meal was perfect. The House Sangria for 8 bucks was just as good as you'd have anywhere and the choice of beers seemed extensive considering the size of the establishment. We got pizza and wings. Delicious pizza! We had half Farmers Market and half Blue something. Both halves were very good. There is only 1 size pizza. The pizza was more than enough for 2 women. We took 2 slices home. The pizza dough tastes home made - it's thin and crispy/crusty. I would eat the crust by itself (and I don't usually say that). The restaurant is cute and clean. Restrooms are cleaner than the large majority of restaurant restrooms. Our server, Leah, was lovely, efficient, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Great little place with a cute little bar. My family is local and has been going here/ordering take out for several years. it has always come highly regarded for consistency in quality of their menu. Past couple of times, in picking up take out , interactions with staff were off, but could be chalked up to a busy night. it's a family business, so it is what it is. Tonight was the worst experience thus far. I called in for take out for me and my mother, they were great in the phone in let me know they were out of certain items, but definitely had the appetizer (stuffed clams) I asked for- twice. I proceeded to ask fo a burger wrap. Staff on the phone stated a cheese burger and I reiterated it was the wrap - not the burger. She said- ok. Went down to collect the order. was told by staff that they were out of clams and she said my total less the clams in one breath, very indifferent. Since it was my Mom's main meal, I asked her to hold up and walked away to call my mom to see what she wanted as a placement. Placed the new item and waited an additional 25 minutes for a chicken quesadilla. Have to say I was irritated by the lack of apology in the inconvenience factor. Having worked in the industry- both for family and chains, I expected some acknowledgment oppose to be made to felt like my patronage didn't matter. Its the locals that keep the place going off season, so I at least expected a thank you out of it. Got the food home- they gave me a cheeseburger, which was cold, not the wrap I ordered. The chiCoen quesadilla was barely grilled and that was only in certain areas and the wings we ordered weren't seasoned at all. nothing was reasonably warm in the 10 minutes it took me from door to door. I tried this place a few years back and decided to give it another try and boy and I'm glad that I did. I had the half brick chicken and my fiancé had the Westport bacon blue pizza. We were both delighted with our meals. I love double veggies, so I had the most yummy Brussel sprouts and apple slaw with my perfectly crusty and crispy chicken. My fiancé was happy with his pizza but he would like a little more blue cheese on it, otherwise he was happy. We walked out with leftovers for lunch the next day and a reasonable bill. Excellent! Ten Cousin's has been on our "To Try" list for a while and we finally made it there this week. We ordered a farmer's market pizza with no cheese and switching the sauce to tomato sauce. And, a chourico pizza. Our waitress brought our pizza's to the table and apologized that she accidently forgot to switch the sauce, but was bringing out the incorrect pizza so I had something to eat, if I wanted and was already preparing the correct pizza. We thought that was really nice. Then, she showed up at our table with a coupon for a free pizza for next time because she felt bad we had to wait. To be honest, I'm not a pesto lover but the messed up pizza was fabulous and I would totally order it again! She boxed up the correct pizza for us to bring home. The pizza crust was on the thinner side - but it was really good! Service was excellent and our bill was $27 for two pizzas and two sodas. We cannot wait to go back. COVID review: Loved it! Met an old friend here for a leisurely lunch and it was delicious - I had the farmers' pizza with pesto and veggies and it was equally good the next day. As other reviewers have noted, they have Del's which made my day, and the patio is beautiful. That aside, the interior atmosphere was a little lacking and our server, who was perfectly nice, was somewhat mechanical and tried to hurry us along (dropping the check and boxes). To be fair, we were definitely leisurely (read: campers), and as a former server, I know how annoying our kind of table can be when you're trying to wrap up a shift. I will be back, but I'd be more apt to come for takeout in the winter as opposed to eating in. read more
