The first time i came in here, i was so happy with my hair color. I got it done by the owner. She was professional and gave me exactly what i wanted. I came in here for the second time, and i was sat by a new lady i didnt see there last time. She didnt even ask me much about what i wanted. I told her ombre. But she seriosuly messed up my hair and they were trying to tell me that its supposed ti look like that. I know im not crazy. Even my family asked why my hair looks messed up. Im sorry but im never going back. On top of that she first told me $120 then charged me $140. My mom who is a barber said they should have only charged me $40 for a bad job done. Look at this, i hate it!!!! I asked them to fix it and they kept saying it looks fine that no one will see the bottom. If someone sees there is a problem, they need to recognize it, give discounts and fix it. Not make you feel crazy and try to convince you it looks fine. read more

The owner of this salon seems to have experience with hair color, however there's another woman that actually applies color and highlights. I explained to this woman (Maria?) what I wanted and even showed her pictures. What a mess!! I left there with orange and yellow highlights even after toner was applied! I told her it was too warm and looked orange. She tried to convince me ( in her thick Armenian accent) it was Buuutiful‍ She burned my scalp during the blowdry because she was too busy being distracted by a friend that walked in. I've since had my hair color corrected somewhere else, which cost 100.00 on top of what I paid for my hair disaster. If you speak Armenian maybe you'll have better luck. read more

I found them through Groupon and was satisfied my first time Pros: -Nice ambiance and lighting -Parking in the back -Reasonably priced Cons: it is very difficult to communicate - only one of the hairdressers actually speaks fluent English. I felt very frustrated trying to explain and communicate what I wanted - and then was disappointed when I realized that they misunderstood me afterwards. I was expecting the same hairdresser I had the first time for my haircut but they gave a complete stranger who was very inexperienced. It was also difficult to communicate with her since she did not speak English. I was told that they would honor the original price as a repeat customer but they tried to up-charge me on my second visit. I will not be returning. I'm guessing that many positive reviews here are from first time-first visit customers or friends and family of the establishment. read more

I went there after reading the fabulous reviews. I had used the wrong shade root touch-up, my regular hairdresser was out of town, so upon research I went there. The problem I had was there was a language barrier and they didn't understand me. Instead of fixing the mess I made, she just colored my hair, and I still have the bad roots. She said, nice color, I paid her It was worth complaining, because she really didn't understand. But, it's a beautiful salon and the women were very pleasant. read more

NO idea if their hair services are good or not. Giving it one star because I was stood-up :( I booked online 2 days in advance and received a confirmation. Showed up at 10 today (Thursday) and the salon was completely locked-up. Waited until 10:15...still nobody. Called and sounded like I woke someone up out of a dead sleep, and the lady on the phone said nobody would be there until the afternoon and only available after 1:30. I found another salon that was open down the street, they took walk-ins, and I got a great full color. Oh my gosh! Aitous is truly a beauty guru!!! I did my hair and makeup here for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid at "yesterday", and here I am writing this review before going to sleep... Because I really need to share my AMAZING experience. I got a hair cut, styled with clip in extensions, and full makeup. First of all his technique and attention to detail is so precise and thoughtful to individuals needs. I have never in my LIFE felt as beautiful as I did yesterday, leaving this salon. I wanted to cry and had to fight back tears because I didn't want to ruin my amazing makeup. I truly felt like Miss America, my childhood dream. (Minus my height and weight, lol!) Also I was shocked at how little he charged me. His work is priceless! I was done with my my hair and makeup at about 3pm, and now at 4:18am that I've gotten home from the wedding my hair and makeup still looks great! For the first time in my life I didn't need to retouch my makeup even once, minus lipstick after eating a few times of course. I am totally hooked! VERY DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. I purchased Groupon for haircut and color service and a few days later called to make an appointment. I told them that I have a Groupon. They gave me an appointment with Missy. However, when I came to the salon they told me that they do not accept Groupon voucher as a payment any more. When I asked the lady why she didn't tell me about it when I was making an appointment she replied that she can give me Groupon price but I HAVE TO PAY HER and then ask Groupon to give me money back. I had a really bad color job from another hairstylist before and Lida COMPLETELY corrected and improved the condition of my hair. And the cut is AMAAAAAZING!!! Not to mention I have very thick and very curly hair which she was able to do with ease! I really appreciate the thoroughness and her taking her time too. Zero stars for this business actually. I have come and gotten my color done here before . they totally ruined my hair and overcharged because of the location (only). it took me 3 color corrections to clean up what they did. on top of that, today I park for five minutes in their parking and I got harassed by the owner she came and parked her vehicle behind my car to trap me from leaving and finding better parking. The parking next door was too small to park my car and I only needEd to park there for 2 min for a quick smoothie pick up from next door. She immediately started to inapporpriately yell and harass me to move. I told her it's not hurting her business and I promise just 2 minutes. I come out and I see she parked her car behind my car to block me from leaving (didn't u want me to go asap? ) she trapped me for 20 minutes as punishment for parking my car in her empty parking lot. I am not the only customer she has harassed according with the other businesses have told me (the business is next-door told me to call the cops )because this woman is ridiculous and harasses a lot of people (not just parking) good luck going to this place to correct your hair color. it's not a smart move a: far as hair care and parking goes. Be careful and do your research. You will spend more money correcting their incompetent work .They had all of their parking spots open and I only park there for 2 min/ this is now how u treat ur customers! they have nothing better to do than to drive people crazy and harass people then to work on people's hair correctly. Wow! I am just in love with my new hair color. I've been living in the valley for ten plus years and have gone to numerous stylists and salons, but I've never been happy so I just jumped from one place to another hoping I'd find what I was looking for. Finally today was my lucky day, I can stop looking because I found Ten One. I am very picky when it comes to hair color and chemicals on my hair, but when I walked into Ten One I was greeted by Sahar and Miss T and they put me at ease. They explained in great detail the type of products they use and the entire process they would be doing on my hair. I rarely ever do anything to my hair so it was very important to me that my hair not be damaged in the process while going from black to blonde. They certainly did just that. They were able to bring my hair down to the color I wanted without even one strand of hair breaking. I'm so happy with my hair, I can't remember the last time I actually had the color I wanted. If I could give negative stars I would. My review is not related to their expertise or experience within the salon, but rather to the way this business is run. I purchased a groupon for one eyebrow threading and shaping appointment, but when I called to schedule I was told that they will not accept the groupon. I reiterated that I had already purchased it and they still refused to accept it. I had to call groupon for a refund and now have to wait 14 days for the amount to be credited back to my account. read more
