I was able to do my laundry for like 12 bucks total. Are used a pretty big machine and used to dryer to dry it all. I've tried three laundromats so far. The first one was a pick up drop off fun, and that cost me 50 bucks. The second one was across the street from me on first Avenue and 11th St. and that cost me at least 20 bucks. This one cost me a little over 12.50 or something like that and that's about as much as it should cost. All in all I had a pleasant experience and I will be back. read more

After a horrible few months trying to find a good place to take my laundry, and some bad experiences with a certain Kim (Stay as far away from Kim's Laundromat on 12th and A as you possibly can!), I decided to finally make a change and check out the place a couple of my roommates have been using. 1. The lady was super friendly! 2. They do spot cleaning (hear that, Kim?) 3. They don't charge extra for hang drying (Kim, seriously.) 4. They deliver and will have your clothes ready the SAME DAY! (I was blown away, even for regular laundry Kim took at least a couple of days) 5. They are right around the corner from my apartment (I feel dumb for not checking this place out sooner) 6. They don't charge whatever the hell they feel like depending on the day/time/weather/mood (If you can't tell by now, I have a strong feeling of hate toward Kim) I have not yet seen the results of my first load of laundry so I am being conservative and only giving them 4 stars, but once I pick up my laundry later today I will definitely adjust my rating as necessary. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes out fine and I can call this place my new laundry home. Update: had my laundry delivered (oh how I still marvel at the fact that you can get EVERYTHING delivered in this city!) because it was still pouring out and my clothes look fine and clean! I am really happy that this is my local laundromat, as I think we all have had the ridiculous experiences with some of the terrible laundromats in the area. But this place is not one of those bad places. I mainly get the shirt service.. not the dry clean, but the wash and press, and I have never had an issue. But, I have used them for the wash and fold a couple of times when I have to washing and not enough time to use building machine and I can say I was very happy.. I have been coming here for years with 0 issues. I noticed others reviewing poorly, and I couldn't figure out why.... The location is clean, and the service is efficient and consistent. 10th St. Laundromat has always accommodated special requests. (ie. Using specific detergent, dryer sheets, hang dry, low dry, color separations) I seriously mean it when I say I've never had a problem. I drop off once a week and I have definitely NOT noticed things going missing. It irks me that people are saying things like "you get what you pay for." I have to assume those people are annoying busy bodies with nothing better to do with their time but write misguided reviews for a respectable business. Here's my tip, if you're so truly neurotic about your clothing, wash it yourself - Because you're right, paying less than a dollar a pound will not get you the Taj Mahal of presentations. read more

We went there three times before learning our lesson. The first time we did drop-off service, they lost our laundry. I was in there for 20 minutes telling them that I could literally see my bag of laundry, but because they had mislabeled it, they didn't believe it was mine. The second time I did drop-off service, five or six of our clothes came back with weird grease-like stains on them. I went a third time to do my own laundry there. All of the dryers were full of drop-off service laundry. While I was waiting for a dryer, the owner stopped one of them, emptied it, and then started putting in another load of someone's drop-off laundry. His daughter told him I was waiting for a dryer and he pointed to the one that said "OUT OF SERVICE" in huge letters and said I could use that one. His daughter emptied out another dryer for me and let me use that one, but the owner clearly doesn't value my business. read more

Fast and friendly service, fair prices, and clothing is folded neatly. There have been some missing socks and receiving a couple things that aren't mine, but I can overlook this. The fact is that they just don't clean things well. It's been far too many times now that I have brought things in for cleaning that have very mild stains which would normally be washed out easily, but this doesn't happen. It is as if they use cheap detergent, if any at all. I'm sad to say that I won't be going again and will have to find a new place or simply start doing it myself. read more

Never use these dry cleaners - they have repeatedly ruined my clothing. After hundreds of dollars worth of damage, I've learned to hard way. Perfectly fine as a laundromat but go elsewhere for anything you care about, or if you want to support a better business. read more

Been using this place for a while now, and everything from service to prices were great. However the past two times I've used the drop off service I got my clothes back and needed to have them rewashed. Smelled like they just folded and packaged nicely. read more

I've been to Ten St several times & I've been very happy with their dry cleaning services. My black clothes did not come back faded & nothing shrank or stretched. At $4 for shirts, pants, & skirts, this is also as inexpensive as any place I've found in the neighborhood AND it is open on Sundays. read more

Self-service review: Clean and empty on Saturday AM. Big machines take 22 quarters; standard size take 14. As noted in other reviews, dryer clocks in at 5 minutes per quarter. Definitely needed to be patient with quarter insertion. It's conveniently located with long hours. read more

Pros: laundry was done on time Cons: despite premium rates and explicit directions to use extra softener/downy my laundry did not smell like laundry should/does after a wash. The larger negative here is how I was deceived by being told they would follow my instructions of adding cleaners and dryer sheets in a way that would make my laundry smell as it should after being just washed, none of which was actually done. Just a lot of head nodding and smiles with no follow through, with me going to a laundromat down the block to do it myself. read more
