Cleaniness has been an issue in recent weeks. I have seen roaches the last two times I use this laundromat. Today I saw a bug in one of the baskets. The worker was impatient when I alerted her about the bug. She removed the bug eventually with regular paper towel but didn't sanitize the basket. read more

Everytime I come here I have an issue. They are always rude, refuse to help when there are any issues. The first time I allegedly overloaded the machine and instead of just letting me know, the elder women began yelling at me while I was on the phone. Politely asked her to give me just a minute (I had no issue, if overloaded was a problem I just didn't realize, happy to have a convo but not when you're berating me while I'm on the phone). The second time an item was stuck in the door of the washing machine. Politely asked for them to assist and instead of trying to help she said nothing she could do and proceeded to lecture me on not touching the machine or trying to stop it (I hadn't touched it.... I had just asked them if there was something we could do). Just have a little respect for your customers. I get that people probably break things a lot, but the off the bat defensiveness is crazy and I've experienced it more than once completely unwarranted here. I really never leave reviews but the rude behavior from the staff is just out of hand. read more

I have done my own laundry here multiple times and it is fine. Typical laundromat but it has only 3 seats which is ridiculous for the amount of machines they have. This week I decided to treat myself and drop off two sets of sheets, a thin blanket, and two towels to the wash and fold. When I dropped my items off, I told the lady it was just sheets and a thin blanket. She weighed it and gave me a recipe for $16.65. Well when I went to pick it up and the owner rang me up she said my total was $22.65 and told me the charged me $6 more dollars for my blanket. I was 100% annoyed because that is not what the woman told me when I dropped of my sheets and blanket and I would never have left my items there. What was I to do? I had to pay them so I could have my clothes. So I gave the woman my credit card and asked for my original recipe back which she would not give me. Obviously because what they did was wrong and bad customer service!!! So I walked home annoyed with the whole situation but happy I had clean sheets to put on my bed. Well.... when I went to put my sheets on my bed first I found a clump of hair that was not mine because it was blonde (GROSS!) and then there was a light blue stain in the middle of my fitted sheet. I was furious!!! Not only was I charged extra they ruined my sheet! The next day after work I went back to show the owner and ask if they had washed my sheets with someone else's clothes that could cause the stain and they swore they didn't. When I asked her then how the stain could have gotten there she told me to contact the company I bought the sheets from and there was nothing she could do! This was so ridiculous and the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. The owner did not even offer to rewash the sheet and try and get the stain out. I will not be using the wash and fold services EVER again. Especially if they screwed up sheets I would never trust them with my clothes. read more

I have to agree with the other negative reviews on here! This place is a scam, and the staff treats you like garbage. The worst part of my week is going here and getting reprimanded for not following some insane rule they decided to implement that day. On top of that I'm paying $11.00 for a load, and close to $5.00 to dry. I have gone here over 100 times, but I'm always treated like I'm a child. Will no longer give my business to this terrible establishment and I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. read more

I live in a nearby building and have been going here for 1 year and every.single.time without fail, I have a negative interaction with one of the ladies. One time it was that I needed to break up my laundry into separate dryers (it wasn't even that full but thanks for monitoring), another time scolding me for not bringing my ticket to pickup dry cleaning (when they can easily look me up in the system like the rest of NYC), the list goes on. They also made my boyfriend purchase a set of rubber gloves for $5 in order to operate the machinery. I get that its a pandemic and people want to be safe, but for $5 either have a sign saying you need to bring your own or supply them yourself. Was that rule made up that day and did it even apply to everyone? Overall 0 for customer service. The ladies are rude, condescending, and unpleasant in general. I look forward to moving and never having to return to the hellhole that is this laundromat. The hours are weird as well. You can run into issues if you come "too late"--subjective dependent on day. I have done my laundry with my girlfriend several times here, and I cannot say bad things about it. Doing laundry sucks, but I mean you gotta do it right? Somehow I can find the good in doing laundry, at least at this spot. The washers do a pretty good job. You can fit a decent amount into one, but not an extreme amount. In my experience (and with my clothes) two weeks of laundry is probably two loads in two washers. One load is a bit pricey but doing laundry is expensive in NYC anyway. The dryer is dope! Not only can you fit all your loads into one dryer, but also you do not have to leave it in there for more than 30-36 minutes. These things really dry your clothes well! I can only compare just a few other laundromats and college dorm laundry rooms to this laundromat's dryers, and they are the best I've ever used. You can probably just dry for 24 minutes for two of your loads and you're good! I like that. This place has pretty tight space but what laundromat doesn't? I have no complaints about this place overall. I'll go again for my laundry. read more

FYI prices were just raised again. $7 for a large washer, $4 for a small, and it's now 25¢ per 5 minutes in the dryer. At least the second price hike in 2 years. And the cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities only continues to go downhill. read more

The staff at this laundromat go above and beyond to accommodate customers. It is very clean and COVID safety measures are priority there. I have always had a good experience whenever I do laundry here - even after I moved I decided to walk the longer distance because this is the best place in the area! 10/10 recommend. Their hours were limited today due to the snowstorm and I had just woken up in the afternoon (I work night shift as an ICU nurse) and the owner stayed an extra hour for me to finish my laundry. Thankfully, I got all my laundry done in enough time to make it to work tonight. She is always so welcoming and open to giving suggestions to her customers about the best way to efficiently launder. read more

Irritated! Walked past several open laundromats because I'd like the seating here. Not so nice to find them closed for renovations. It would be nice if they'd post that here. We had a couple heavy loads of laundry that wouldn't be washed efficiently in our home washer so we took it to this laundromat and washed them then put them in the dryer. Since the clothes would take a while to dry, we figured we would head out for a little bit and grab food and when we returned before the dryer was even close to being done, our clothes were out of the dryer and still very wet. One of the owners said that the dryer stopped so she took our clothes out but that was a complete and utter lie. I know how to tell time and I have eyeballs ....................... She put other peoples clothes in to dry that the laundromat washed for them instead of just using store quarters. Why, you ask me? So we would pay more to use another dryer and they would make more. And that's all I have to say about this laundromat. read more

This was my laundromat for the past year, after I realized I could no longer afford to send out my laundry in the land of service laundries, the Upper East Side. It was relatively convenient, being only half a block away, but, alas, it was almost always a hassle doing laundry there. First of all, it's always busy, being one of the only laundries around where you could actually do your own laundry, and so really difficult to get machines. The staff has half the machines reserved for themselves and you have to be really aggressive to get them or else someone else will take them. Second, they are only open until 7:30 on weekdays and the last load is 6:10, and the staff gets really ornery if you are even one minute late putting your laundry in. If you leave for any reason and you don't get back before 7:25, you risk having your laundry locked in because the staff often leaves a few minutes early. Many times I saw people come in at closing time for clothes (suits, scrubs) they absolutely needed for work the next morning, only to find the staff gone and just the cleaner there. They would have to go back and find their clothes themselves and leave the money with a note or something. So anyway, I know you will have to use this laundry if you live in this area. All I am saying is be careful and try to avoid the times when the field trips from the senior center down the street bring in like seven elderly women trying to do their laundry all at once, because if you even look at them, they will seriously wrangle you into doing their laundry for them because they "can't figure out these newfangled machines" (and no I am not making that up!). read more

I have been doing their drop off service for the past year and have had great service. They do a fantastic job and they are so fast! If I drop off on my way to work I can pick up on my way home. They are all super friendly too. I've done my own laundry here a few times and I have to say it's really not worth it.. it costs just a little more to have them do it and frankly they do a better job than me anyway read more

I did not find this laundromat to be crowded and there were plenty of machines available for my use. The machines seemed to be reasonably priced. I liked that you can get quarters, buy laundry powder and buy fabric softener sheets from the counter. Laundry powder is $1 and a fabric softener sheet is $.25. There were fun magazines to read while I waited. The staff will watch you like a hawk to make sure you have gotten your stuff out of the machines in a timely manner. read more

DROP OFF LAUNDRY IF YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES SHRUNK A SIZE -- Very disappointed in drop off/ pick up laundry service. Most of my clothes came back shrunk a size!! Dropped off my clothes to the owner (Christina), asked her to please wash cold and dry low. I even asked can you make sure it's dry low, because the instructions were nowhere on the ticket. She said "I know", and she's doing the loads herself. After pick up couple days later, i looked at the bundles when I get home and was in shock. So disappointing because I've lived in the neighborhood a long time and usually do self service there but I had no time. I feel disrespected by the owner, and will likely never drop off there again. I want to confront the owner about it, but it's been couple weeks and I feel it won't make any difference, she'll deny or won't care. I will go back for self service because this place is on my block. read more
