Was trying to get a car wash for a while. I usually go to Skippys in Fort Lee. They're great, but sometimes the lines are long. The car wash in Englewood closed, so I was driving by, so I decided to try Tenafly car wash. Their great line was short, so I went for it. My first time there, they have a like the bank atm. I wasn't sure what to pick, so I went for the 12 one. They had an $8 one too. Car wash was super soapy, they did a great job. As I pulled out I saw some vacuums, so I'd thought I'd give the a try too, and they were free. Cool experience will try again read more

Tried this place twice. The last time was November. Leaving review now as I forgot. Just drove past and it reminded me how horrible it was. Car comes out blah. No idea if the equipment is antiquated or if the management is trying to save money, but both times I paid for the best wash they have and both times I struggled to see the soap / suds on the car. I watched as the brushes sprayed water and such a small amount of soap, it was basically scrubbing the dirt debris into my paint/finish. The rims get surface cleaned but remain dirty. No reason the employees can't use a rim brush on each car to get behind the surface. Then the tire gloss applicator.... Half the tire gets gloss while half doesn't. AVOID, especially when crowded. The payment system goes on the fritz, and - this is much worse - they run the machine with the cars too close together. I was at the end of the line, and the guys with the hand towels were finishing my car, which was stationary. But the driver in the car behind kept coming off the line. I heard a bump, and honestly I don't know if he hit me or not. Either way, my kid and I had to listen to this driver yell his head off for something that wasn't even my fault. Maybe second time here. Paid $14.00 for a not very good wash. Very poor hand drying despite a generous tip and the fact it wasn't busy. Nice to have "free" vacuums. read more

I have been going to this car wash for years. We are in a wealthy area where a lot of people have expensive cars and they all come here to get their car washed. They have good prices, even with minimum wage raising which forced them to increase their prices. At the same time they offer many different services and monthly memberships. The people there are all nice and it's conveniently located on a side street. read more

My car was still dirty especially the wheels. I paid for tire shine that is not manually applied but streams on to the tires at the end of the wash. no shine at at all.!! what is the point of a car wash if your car is returned dirty. I have been to many other car washes that staff use a soft brush brush broom to scrub tires and they apply the shine with a paint brush and include the manual vacuum. I rather take my business to an establishment that can provide real service and earn your money. read more

I am writing this review for anyone who is concerned about receiving detail or interior wash services during COVID-19. Offerings are the external wash that is $7-10. They do not do the internal cleanings but offer free vacuums for the customers to use. They also offered to rinse off my filthy mats for me, which was unexpected and thoroughly appreciated. Overall, my charge only came out to $10, and my car is only missing a light wipe-down. Zero contact, and I felt comfortable with the process. I recommend a good tip if you do go -- they certainly deserve one. read more

I've been a member here for about 10 years now, recently the they've been LAZY, my car goes inside DRY, i told the guy to water all side before i go in, but rudely reply YOU DONT SEE WHAT IM DOING?. Management have to do something about this kid (TENAFLY). I stop and ask if hes going to water the left side, he said i have to go in coz they're BUSY. And this doesn't happened once, (same guy). Review from May 2022. If I could give a zero, I would gladly. They locked my keys in the car during full detail under tent. No one bothered to tell me until I went over to ask, no one speaks English except young kid taking money as you come in. He said he called the absent owner (even though owner's car parked there) who said to call Fire Dept - WTF?!!! 90 minutes later my family arrived with my extra key. I have been coming to this car wash and other local car washes since I first began driving, so I feel like I've done my fair share of "car wash shopping." Yes, the car wash is a machine wash, so you have to understand that coming in. What I believe sets them apart is the attention to detail they put in for their full service interior work. They use a tool to blow dirt and crumbs from crevices, which is a great addition to the typical vacuum and cloth regimen. They put a lot of effort into shining and cleaning the wheels. The car comes out dry, spotless, and beautiful. I'm unsure if there has been a change of management throughout the years, but I have had a great experience coming here. The interior wash down the street doesn't give you the same attention to detail, but it is a lot faster. But you have to understand if they're taking a while on your car, you will most likely have a well-cleaned car. I come here especially because they take their time and do great work. For $18 and 20 minutes of your time, this is definitely a 5 star car wash. read more

Payed 14$ for " basic" in and out wash. When asked them to vacuum the rear of my my car that was practically clean and empty, they refused , and said it's not included in the basic (!!!!) deal. Used to always come here and they did a great job. $20 for a wash now and they won't even open the hatch of your SUV or trunk of a car to wipe down/vacuum unless you do the $25 wash which I found out after the fact. Why even offer a $20 option for half a car wash? read more

I paid $40 and my car was still dirty - the conveyer belt stopped while inside for over 10 minutes and no one came when I was honking to let me know what was going on. Go to Andy's - it's a hand car wash and less expensive ... plus you don't leave with your car dirty. read more

They use to be priced right but all of a sudden they bumped up their price by 50%+ for the same job which does not justify the price

Their strong point is consistent lack of attention to details. I have never had them do a thorough job unless my car is already clean and i just need a touch up. read more

These guys damaged the tint on my drivers side window and rear passenger side window. It looks like they took a cloth with pebbles or dirt to it. I confronted the workers about it afterward, but they insisted the marks were always there. I think I would have noticed because hey, it is only my drivers side window right? They told me to come back and complain to the manager, but I doubt that will do anything since they never gave me a receipt. I also have a new ding on my side skirt I noticed after the wash, but to be fair, I'm not sure they did that. Overall, I would advise to avoid this place. read more

It's not a "fresh water" car wash. They recycle dirty water and blast your car with it. Also the hand wax people use so little wax spray on dirty rags only creating less lubrication and more swirl marks. I spoke to management about the lack of wax spray and he didn't care. read more

I have been going to this car wash for years with No problems.This morning I go and pay for a full service wash.Completely frustrating experience as far as organization. I waited in line as cars came and went in the other lanes.No organization In regard to order of service. It would be a nice courtesy to their costumers to have someone direct you to a lane that "most likely" will be next. Their Employees work hard and I have seen the same people there for years.That said I feel having someone on site who speaks English so you can communicate with Managment would also be a common courtesy to your costumers. read more

I spent more than an hour at the car wash. The time spent on like averaged around 20 minutes while waiting for the interior wash took around 30 minutes. Recommended if you want a rushed job for the interior clean. Never has it been a completely thorough wash. Dust and small dirt marks are still left after clean. Vacuum is mediocre. I've seen them open the trunk to give off the impression they clean it if you don't have little to no belongings in the back. The most astonishing part of my visit was the lack of attention to the car. They forgot to put all my mats back while clearing me to drive off. read more

Normally very good but on today's visit, they rushed me by starting belt before they could properly spray front of car then had the car behind me enter with not enough space that when I came out , the one person they had to dry the car had to do a 2 second wipe before the car behind me was right there just about to hit me, beeping the horn for me to move ASAP to prevent a collision. When I was going through car wash I was looking back and felt that the other car seem a bit too close. When I complained to the guys that were running in to see who was beeping they just stared with a blank look as well as the guy who took my money to begin with. Not even an, ""I'm sorry". I don't want to hear that they probably didn't understand English. Very disappointed! this car wash is a ripoff they have package deals put upon boards i asked for the 16 dollar package and they refused to give it to me, all i wanted was wash vaccum just basic no wax nothing fancy and once i reached the wash they said that alone cost 20 dollars and that did not include the trunk. I cleaned the trunk on my own. there were several nooks and crannies in the front by the drivers side that were still dirty and they had an attitude cleaning it up I wasnt happy with their service or attitude certainly would not recommend it I even sensed a certain hostility towards me well i cant help it If am Indian & I look Hispanic and I cannot speak their language, Nope sorry they were mean. goodbye im taking my business elsewhere read more

Wish I read these reviews before I visited this place. HORRIBLE!! They act as though they are doing you a favor taking your money! First I tried to get the 14.00 car wash but they said it was three dollars for my Honda HRV because it is an SUV. It is smaller than most cars so I don't get it. So I get the car washed and they dry it with saturated rags so the water is just getting pushed around. Next I pull up to get my windows washed and car vacuumed which is included in service. After 12 minutes go by not one car has exited the bays and I have two cars in front of me. I was not willing to sit for 30 minutes or more to get the service complete since I was on my lunch break. I go back to the attendant and tell him I can't wait. He says no refunds!!!!! I told him I only want a refund for the service not performed and he gives me five dollars back. So I paid 12.00 for a half-*ssed car wash. I will never return. What a shame. The worst part was the attitude of the employees. One plus, it looks like they may have been doing a good job on the interior but I will never find out. read more

Rushed through and they did half the job. Their sign for 'New Full Service Wash' at $4.75 was misleading at best. Once on line you are told that the $4.75 (actually $5.00) is for outside wash only. The outside wash apparently did not include them brushing or wiping my rims because they were still filthy when I left. Manager told me that is the $8.00 service. Laughable. I have been here many times and always pleased. Today was much different. I paid for the GOLD package which is the works. My tires still had dirt on the rims and my white car had black spots.
