Delicious drinks and creative pastries!…read more Tried Fondry LA and the matcha vanilla pistachio drink was definitely the highlight--so delicious and perfectly sweet without needing any sweetness adjustment. Easily my favorite thing I tried! The tofu cream croissant toast was airy and light, with a creamy topping that wasn't overly sweet. The mushroom béchamel was savory and good. I only got it because my brother suggested it. Normally I would not seek mushroom pastries even though I like mushrooms. The yuzu meringue croiffin was good, but I am not used to tart flavors in croissant/pastry combination. The cafe is very tiny, with only one table for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. There are seats outside. I also wanted to try the black sesame pastry, but didn't see it available when I visited. I'd definitely go back to try it. The drink was the standout for me!

The key is to go on a weekday to avoid the line, as the weekend can definitely get busy. This last time I finally got to try the tofu cream topped croissant, which was ~to die for~. It was a little bit savory with the miso but still (not too) sweet. This felt super original and I would definitely recommend. I also tried the pistachio croissant and asparagus danish this time round and both were extremely good as well. I would have no qualms with re-ordering either. The only note is the pistachio cream is pretty runny, so it's hard to cut and share, as the cream just oozes out. The workers there are super friendly and kind. The drinks are also very good if you're looking to get a little extra treat as well.

I've tried venturing out to try their other stuff, and it's all delicious, but I keep coming back for the mango and pistachio. I like how each pastry you purchase you also get a free macaron. Each dessert is very well executed, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. And I'm happy to say, they're perfectly sweet, but not too sweet!

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

They're also very on-trend, whenever a Korean dessert goes viral, they usually have it here. Recently, they even started selling butter tteok, and I heard it was one of the first places to have it in K-town. I highly recommend the salted bread. Honestly, I think it's even better than the famous spot everyone talks about. My favorite is the corn cheese, it's especially delicious when it's warm. I also tried the Korean chamoe (melon) smoothie, and it was very refreshing. It tasted like they used real melon, since there was a slight natural tanginess that made it even better. There is free parking, though the lot is a bit small. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating, but the seating area is somewhat limited too

The corn latte was okay. The corn flavor wasn't very pronounced. The yuzu smoothie was pretty good. The black sesame bun was very good, but the cream filling was just cream. We were hopping for black sesame cream filling. And the egg salad sandwich were rather disappointing. Proportions were a bit off and the tastes were rather muted.

From the moment I walked in, every member of the staff was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. I visited during Restaurant Week and had an incredible meal starting with the black truffle arancini, followed by the carbonara (bucatini pasta, pancetta, peas, Grana Padano - perfection), and finishing with the opera cake which I really love and had not had in a really long time (it was rich and delicious). Every bite was phenomenal. I also couldn't resist ordering the squash blossoms off the menu (cooked tempura style), and they did not disappoint. On top of the restaurant experience, their famous cafe and bakery counter is packed with the most gorgeous pastries and sweets. The entire place is a vibe, and I already can't wait to go back!

Also, had the apple turnover which was enough to make me increased to start reading from one to me. I still think it was for customer service not address the undercooked for sandwich and then making us wait for such a long time to bring us the new dish. We ended up having to go to the event hungry. However, when we got back to the hotel, we were able to re-cook the sandwich and it turned out fine. I would still give this restaurant chance, especially since their baguettes and pastries are delicious. Disappointing. Sadly not what it used to be. Bottega Louis WAS our favorite go to restaurant when we visit LA. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered the Louis Salad with blue crab and Croque Madame. While the salad was as delicious as I remembered, the Croque Madame was completely undercooked and the bread was soggy. We returned the sandwich as asked them to grill it longer. It took so long to recook that we had to leave and they gave it to us in a togo box without even an apology. Even the bread that they serve with the meal has gone downhill. We ended up buying a baguette. At least the baguettes are still decent. But overall a disappointing lunch.
