No. So you have no right to say I'm making stuff up and call me a liar. Alison and Danielle may be nice to you but they were not to my youngest son. They were very rude and nasty to him and couldn't wait to throw him out. They treated him like absolute dirt. One other thing that I didn't put in my first review is that I called my school district about what to do about my son and his situation at Tutor Time. When one of the directors who has a PhD in education found out that my son was attending Tutor Time of Massapequa, she said "I've had this conversation with them before. Their methods are terrible. The teachers have no training whatsoever. Their only response to when a child doesn't behave is to isolate the child and eventually try to get rid of the child which causes much more harm than good." So it's not just me. Tutor Time has a bad reputation with my school district and they have a low opinion of Tutor Time's methods. Don't tell people to ignore my review because it is a 100% accurate reflection of my children's experiences there and people should know that it isn't the happy, sunny place you insist it is.

The leadership at tutor time is filled with excellent people, they host fun events, have excellent communication with parents and build great relationships with everyone. In response to the negative review below - This is unbelievably inaccurate and is not at all a representation of Tutor Time. This has not been my experience in the 2+ years my daughter has been there and we have had nothing but positive experiences always. My daughter has a huge personality, super sassy and energetic. She is loved by everyone, the second she walks in the door she is getting hugs from everyone, past teachers come to see her in her class room and we even get to see some of the staff outside of TT bc they love her so much. Big personalities and lots of energy grow and prosper there and to say they are unwanted is very much untrue. Cleanliness is important to them, especially with covid and they are constantly taking the necessary precautions to keep the kids safe. I watch the cameras and they have very specific cleaning routines. My daughter has come home sick only once, for high fever - and she got it from her cousin not from the school. When they called me I was 45 minutes away and it was no problem at all, they were super sweet and took care of her until I could get there. The academic program is great - my daughter comes home every day learning new things. She soaks it up like a sponge and I love how many things they do every single day. There is always reading, writing, math, science - it blew my mind when she started how much she was actually learning. I thought they would spend most of their time playing but they fit in so much! For example just today they did days of the week, months of the year, weather, a fire drill sequence, a science experiment, learned about the ecosystem and counting. To say there is little to no academic instruction is insane and bizarre to me. Lastly, Allison and Danielle are amazing. They are incredibly sweet and love on my kid so much - and we don't have to "suck up" to get that kind of attention. They answer all my emails right away and are always so kind and helpful. They plan the most fun things for the kids and are always trying to do the best for them. I often get to the school early bc my job is so far away and if our daughters teacher isn't on site yet Danielle lets her hangout in her office with her, which is her favorite thing to do in the mornings! Allison sends me cute pics of our girl during the day when she can. They are just the best duo and we are so lucky our kid is in their hands. If you are considering tutor time I would not take that review very seriously.

What I say often is that if we didnt 'need' to put our kids into daycare, we still would (at least part time). I attribute my (older) kid's personality, outgoingness, and even her high level of empathy to TLC. You'll hear people describe daycare as handing your kids over to 'strangers'. These caregivers/teachers become family to your child. I feel good every morning knowing that my kids are usually getting a big hug on arrival from a teacher who truly wants the best for them. Your kids will get more attention, more socialization, and have more learning than I think any solo parent could do at home. My 3 year old has more friends than me. The best thing about TLC is the amount of activities they do, to name just a few: Valentines Party, Friendsgiving, Visit form Santa, Visit from police officer, fire fighter, dentist, a petting zoo day, Chinese New Year celebration, Fall festival, dinosaur fossils, yoga, making Challah bread, halloween party and trunk or treat, in the summer water play almost every day. They all love coming to school. They never want to miss school even on days when they are under the weather. There is so much love and kindness given to these students, and they want to reciprocate. They care about everything. They care about everyone. They care about themselves. They want to do well. They do morning meditation and yoga which is such a great way to start the day. They are allowed to explore and learn as much as they can about any subject that they are passionate about. My kids love all the projects and learn so much from them. My oldest still knows all the facts from her dinosaur and planet projects from 2nd grade. She knows all about the state she researched in 3rd. She learned about all the Greek Myths from one of her 4th-grade elective projects. She still updates our online family tree she started in 5th grade while learning about genealogy. The art projects that sometimes take 5 weeks to finish because of the amount of detail that goes into them are on display all over my home. They can use any color, any medium, and any material in the art room. They read widely and often in every grade. My kids all love the class plays that take place at the end of the year. They are all so entertaining. I look forward to them every spring. Now can you see why they wouldn't want to miss a day? I can truly go on and on. I'm having a hard time condensing this post because there is so much to say about this wonderful school. I feel so fortunate to have found it and that my kids get their academic foundation here. In short, this school sparks a love of learning and then provides them with a thorough education. When they graduate, they are more than prepared for high school.

I enrolled my kid to this center because I trusted the fact that this center expanded the business in this area quite successfully. However, when I toured the center, I was not very happy when I looked at the faces of kids and staff. They didn't look very happy nor enjoy their job. Furthermore, I realized that this place is too pricey compared to the other daycares in the neighborhood. So in the end, I decided to withdraw my kid's enrollment. I visited the center and explained why I made such a decision. At that time the staff promised me that I would get a check for the first month's tuition, because, at the time of enrollment, I have already paid $150 + first month's tuition ($1195). Again, the staff told me that I can get it back and the reason why she cannot give it right away is because she does not have the checkbook. The staff talked about bad things about the school to which I am switching, which sounded not nice, but I did not take it seriously. She also mentioned that there was a policy that I should have notified them 45 days in advance, strictly speaking. I notified them 30 before the first day of school. So I understood that and I greatly appreciated their kind considerations. BUT, I did not receive the check for a month, and I have sent an email to remind that. The response I got was simple enough, "No, you cannot get a check. The owner decided not to do that." WHAT?? They just ate up my $1195 because I was late for 15 days to notify them. I can totally understand if they take out part of that money, but I cannot understand that they took all of it. Even more importantly, in that response, the staff mentioned that the owner called me and explained the situation. NO!! It never happened. The owner did not give me a call and I did not know the situation before "I" asked them. I courteously replied back if there is any possibility for a partial refund and explained that I have never received a call from the owner. That was it! They never responded back to me. I cannot trust their business. It seems to me that they only take care of their profits and tries to get out of money as much as possible. They never considered me as a future family even though I could send my kids to their summer camps or after-school care. I pass the center every morning and afternoon and see a lot of cars in there. Every time, I get very annoyed by their attitude to me, and I will never consider this place as one of my future childcare.
