Placed an order at their website , filled all required fields including shipping address, decide to pay by paypal, they ship for the wrong address , contacted them at the same day asking to correct their mistake; costumer service say they can do nothing as their system automatically switches the address in paypal purchases. Wouldn't it be nice if they tell their costumer about it or even better if they don't require a shipping address in their website since it useless. read more

Their online business is run very poorly. Beware ordering from them. I ordered 3 demo rackets and a pair of shoes. The charged me in full, and listed my order as "in process" for weeks! When I finally called and asked what gives, they said they had cancelled my racket order due to not having the rackets, and gave no explanation for not sending the shoes which they had charged me for! Shoddy, if not illegal behavior. My refund is now pending as well. God Awful. read more

Ordered three t-shirts on January 17th. My credit card was charged the full amount of purchase. Tennis Express indicated items on backorder and would be filled by February 2nd. It appears Tennis Express deprioritzed my order and filled other orders for that t-shirt since all three t-shirt sizes I ordered weren't available at the same time & to save on shipping charges. Called February 4th to check status. New update shipping date March 30th.... Asked and received a refund. Why one star? Could have ordered from other sites and would have received the t-shirts. Why did Tennis Express charge in full for an order they could not fulfill? I know, world wide shipping issues caused the delay. I bought the 3X Roger Federer signature black tennis bag. The picture of the bag inside on your website site looked like a 1 racket player would have room for towels, balls and a few other items. That's NOT the case. This can accommodate a couple of rackets and that's it. When I called Tennis Express to exchange for a larger bag, they were going to charge me for the return shipping and shipping for the replacement bag since their EXTRA25 brought the bag down to $47 and minimum for free shipping was $50. Really? The notion that the product purchased was not as advertised or promoted made no difference. Telling them they have just lost a customer did not matter either. There are several "other" tennis gear internet companies that a FAR easier to do business with than Tennis Express!! read more

The shirts arrived in good time, however, I had to return them for exchange. They were two different brands, one brand was new to me and the other was Nike. Both were too small. I have a couple of the Nike shirts in different patterns and they all fit differently even though they are the same style. UPS tracking indicated that the return was signed for at the dock on Monday but no notice yet of them being received, credited and the new sizes of the Nike shirt going out yet, so I can't comment on how quick the service will be. My issues are that the website should give measurements or at least a description of the fit (relaxed, tight, etc.) for those of us ordering remotely. Also, the website is really dated--when trying to play orders for my team shirts, it wasn't functioning properly. The PDF exchange/return form doesn't work properly when you try to fill it in using PDF app. read more

I received my Elite 65 ball hopper with a broken piece making it non-functional. I have called, texted and emailed NUMEROUS times and was told I would receive a shipping label and refund which HAVE NOT been sent. The lack of service is such that I will NEVER work with Tennis Express again. Perhaps, make an appropriate name change to 'Tennis Procrastinate' so you could still refer to your company as Tennis Pro. Feel free to call me or email me but I'm sure that won't happen. read more

Purchased some strings and a stringmeter from express. Shipping is quick. Customer service is stellar. Very responsive (within 24 hours via email) and very nice on the phone. One of the products came with a problem and they rectified the issue very quickly. I am very pleased with their service. As someone who previously largely shopped with tenniswarehouse, I'm always hesitant on switching vendors but the customer service has really shined through alongside a very reasonable price point. I purchased shoes last August 28 and immediately TE charged my card waited for the item to be shipped after 24 hours got an email to email or call customer service shoot email 4 times but the customer service is not responding tried chatting and informed me they moved warehouse in Texas. It took them more than 3 weeks to ship it and why their customer service is not answering email. I'm so disappointed and will not buy again from Tennis Express. read more

I posted a semi-negative review about Tennis Express. My complaints had to do with all of the follow up emails, asking me to rate my experience...and not the products or the customer service in the store. I love my products and the customer service is always great. The manager contacted me and asked me to give another rating, explaining that the emails come from a third party company hired by TE to follow up on customer experience! I appreciate the manager caring enough to reach out and I appreciate a company that cares about the feedback of their customers...maybe send one email per receipt and not per item!! Every time I responded and then got another email, asking me to rate my experience again, I thought...what am I doing wrong, why isn't it going through! That's all! read more

I reached out to customer service to request a refund and was told that I should have known they were yellow, and would offer no further assistance. Add to this, the shorts are winter shorts and should have been advertised as such. They are too thick to play in during hotter weather months. I don't recall how they were advertised, but I never got the impression they were so thick."
