Horrible customer service. As a former standout Football and Baseball athlete. I lost interest in team sports and got highly invested in Tennis. I love talking about tournaments and players. It was my first time in a tennis shop. It was exciting. For some reason, The Sales guy had the most non-welcoming and lifeless attitudes. I Instantly wondered "this is the men of the sport?" They were very helpful and strung the racket in a rush for me after I asked for recommendations all before closing. All at a very fair and reasonable price, did not try to up sell me. I am an idiot and a jerk but the guy at tennis spectrum saved my butt. It's my local joint that is much nicer and pleasant to visit than another location that I won't name. The kind gentleman is always accommodating and helpful whenever I walk in here. This week I found out about last minute plans to play when it was supposed to be a week off so I've been holding off on restringing. I walked in and he was able to fit me in in time for my unexpected plans. He also pointed me in the direction of some weight, grip, and balls which saved me more time as I'm busy with work. Their house overgrips are hands down the best that come in multiple colors and a great price. I get the grips here for my playing partners too. I've been playing tennis for many years and have gone to many tennis shops. And I have to say this tennis store is the best! Once there was a lady at the store who wanted to buy a box of balls, and the owner told her that Costco would sell the tennis balls at a better price also; I was going to replace my tennis racquet, and he told me it wasn't necessary I only needed to buy a frame, which I did at the tennis warehouse. Who does this? He could easily make more money by me buying new racquets at his shop. Places like this deserve our business. I plan on coming back for many years. read more

After talking with one of the employees, they said they had two left. I said great, I'll pick them up later today. I arranged to pay via Venmo so I could have them strung & ready. Right after I contacted the student to let them know I found two racquets and new place to go for their tennis needs I called the shop to let them know what string & tension only to hear them tell me sorry they only had one now. I will preface this review by saying I've been to this tennis store before to buy tennis shoes and racquet and my experience then was very good. The owner was very attentive and all my questions were answered. My recent experience was the complete opposite and I wonder if it's because I didn't look like I was going to be $$$ for them. I've been playing for a while now and have to restring pretty often. I found a good deal on some strings online and wanted to bring it to this tennis store to restring my racquet. I had some questions about tension and mains/crosses, but the guy couldn't give a rat's butt about it. I get that I'm not going to be spending hundreds at your store and you're not going to be earning any margin by me bringing my own strings, but maybe try to be nice to ALL your customers so that they'll return again. Come to this place if you're a tennis beginner with no knowledge about buying a suitable rackets. The store owner is really helpful, he patiently explain to me every single detail about the racket, like what kind of racket fit for each different level. He does not try to talk me into buying expensive stuff and even suggest a cheaper one for me. After i got my first racket, the store owner carefully got it prepared for me to use and even got me a free bag. A small store in a hole but got pretty good quality rackets and they also sell other sport equipments related to tennis such as shoes, tennis balls, etc. Would recommend this one for my friends if they ever want to try tennis like me. Tom was so helpful in suggesting different racquets based on different preferences. He helped me pick the right grip size. He also prevented me from buying a random one on a whim. I must have tried over a dozen racquets in a span of 5 months until I finally found one I liked.
