before you go to the store on Hualapai Way, call them at 702-736-6006. I made the trip twice before and there is always a note on the door, "be back in 20 minutes". Today I called and the women said "yes I am here but I am leaving soon, come after 2:20 PM". In 2006 I bought a set of TeNo earrings at their store in Planet Hollywood, those earrings were in my ears from then on, taking out to clean of course. A couple weeks ago a bag strap snagged on one of the earrings and it fell out of sight in a parking garage. I gave up looking after 30 min with a flashlight combing the entire area. Gone. They have sentimental value and one was now missing. I stopped in to TeNo to replace them. Never in a million years did I think they would have the identical jewelry considering that they are near 14 years old. I took a gamble and stopped in and Raphael greeted me at the door, he and some workers were putting away stock in the doorway. He was super friendly and I started looking around the store, which is huge and very nice looking. I showed him the 1 earring remaining and he said oh yes, and a few min later he emerged with a little baggie with the identical earrings. He said I'm gonna give you a discount. (They were $450 in 2006) he puts some numbers in a calculate and says this locations regular price would be $300-$350, I'll do $200. What!?!!? No way. After tax, out the door they were $220ish. Outstanding!! Raphael is a really good guy. Very friendly and helpful and he took the time to not only find the earrings, which are not on display or on the website, but talked with me about other pieces not in a sales kinda way but in an excited to show a customer new fares and proud of the items his store offers kinda way. Terrific. TeNo if you aren't familiar isn't a dainty jewelry line, while they have some delicate looking pieces, it's very masculine and softly industrial. The quality has been unreal. 13 years in my ears the diamonds never came out and the only time the back came off during wear was when it was lost and 13 years old. Putting the old earring next to the new ones they look absolutely identical. Their workmanship and quality control can only be described as craftsman level. If you're looking for non gaudy jewelry, stop into TeNo, say hi to Raphael and don't hesitate to buy no matter the $ level, it will be worth it and something you could have and use for a lifetime. I have rarely had such a helpful and consumer friendly interaction with a retail establishment as I did today with Sherri, the manager of Universal Watch. In all ways she did whatever was necessary to make sure that I was happy with the outcome of our little issue. It was solved in no time with her great assistance. And throughout our multiple discussions, it was plain that she was really sincere in her focus on customer satisfaction. You really owe it to yourself to go to their shop and meet her to see for yourself how all other people in the retail sector should act with their customers. And, by the way, their mens and womens watches are beautiful. I've purchased two watches from them and would continue to buy from them in the future whenever the need arises. Love..Love..Love this family operated jewelry store. The selections are always so modern and displayed well, and best of all so reasonably priced. The owners have such a great sense of humor and make the shopping such a fun social experience instead of a sales tactic. My husband I spent a good amount of time in this lovely store picking out family gifts for the upcoming holiday. Both Sherri and Raphael, the store owners, were very patient and helpful with our selections.Our gifts were loved by all. Both of us also purchased multiple items for ourselves and we have enjoyed wearing them. We Floridians will shop again when we are in Vegas. Jewelry looks nice but doesn't last. They don't stand behind their products and worst of all, they make excuses. I have always had a good experience but come to find out it's because I've never had a defective ring. Stay away from any and all of these products if you plan to wear them. They do not have the same strength of a traditional setting and will not last. I've owned a few of these rings, I know I caused damages to two and paid for repair. A 3rd time the stone fell out, I just assumed it was me and paid for repair. When it happened a 4th time to a ring that was only 14 months that's when I knew it wasn't all me and it was the poor design or a defective product. When I wrote in and sent pictures, I was immediately blamed and tons of excuses were given. STAY AWAY. Sherri, you should assess why so many stores have closed. It's bad customer service with a bad product. This company thinks "free" means you pay $50.00+ for repairs. Free means you don't pay anything so do not misrepresent yourself. Every location has closed for a reason, stop and think about that for minute before you respond and criticize your customers.... there is reason you are losing clients. read more
