The sales associates were busy helping other people so I didn't want to bother them. They seemed the have a very good amount of a jewelry selection to choose from. PREDATORY SALES & WILL LIE TO KEEP THEIR SALES. Purchased a ring from the retailer and when I went to return it before the 30-day return window expired, the Sales associated *promised* me he would let me return it for a full refund after within 60 days (instead of the normal 30-days on the receipt). I relied upon his commitment as the Manager / Assistant Manger and I kept the ring that I went to the store to return. I did the same thing the next month -- tried to return the ring and was *promised* they would do it one final time despite what the receipt said and I made it clear I would only do it they would still allow me to refund for a full money back return at the end of the 30 days (Sept 23rd). Finally, I went to return the ring on Sept 23rd. Once the store realized I wasn't going to just go away and let them keep the sale, they flipped their story and said returns are only accepted in 30 days. I relied on their verbal commitments on 2x visits and multiple receipts show me showing up and returning/exchanging for the same ring as it was their way of refreshing the 30-day window. Now they're telling me they're refusing me service and to contact zales corporate, who of course, only points at the 30-day return policy. I hate to throw around words like predatory or false advertising, but they clearly lied to me to get me to just keep the ring beyond the period I could return it as it was a big sale for them. They accused me of lying about the exchanges and acted appalled when I got mad about the switcheroo they pulled on me. BBB and Consumer Protection Agency have been alerted with cases created. read more

On the day I arrived I tried to call the store to let them know I was running late due to parking issues. No one answered until I called the 3rd time. They were extremely busy that day so have a bit of patience during the busy holiday season. When I got to the store I was greeted by Jared. I bought a watch with cash for $200 about 20 days ago and decided to return it. At 2pm the assistant manager told me that he can send me a check that would take 2 weeks or give me a call when someone make a cash purchase because the store didn't have any cash. He stated he only have the cash the store opened up with but he couldn't give me a refund with it. I have never heard of this before and I would understand that they may not have enough money to make a $2000 refund but it's only $200. What fine jewelry store doesn't have enough money for a $200 refund? ZALES THATS WHO!!!!! Have have been a customer for over 10 yrs ZALES and this is how you do your loyal customers. I like their jewelry- at one point I had the credit card, which tells you something. We were looking at wedding bands. When a salesperson has a condescending tone with me, you better believe that I am taking my business elsewhere. When the lady scoffed at my wanting to put it on "layaway," I was really turned off. Needless to say, we haven't been inside since, but I doubt that the salesperson is still there; she had the wrong attitude. I'm giving high marks for the selection, the variety, and the beauty of the pieces. It's a small store, but close to the food court, in a corner location. My Now Husband and I purchased our wedding rings at Zales at the Outlet back in Jan 2022, the sales couple that sold us the set of wedding rings at the time seemed very polite and excited for us to finally tie the knot and I really thought I was getting the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE till I showed up today to re size my wedding ring the gentleman "that helped me" was Jared. I let him know that back when I bought my rings the sales man mentioned I can re size my ring 1 time as long as I had the receipt. He mentioned that this was false and that I can purchase the guarantee for $275 today. I again mentioned if he can see who sold me these rings and if he can get a hold of them to let them know I didn't appreciate the false advertisement. Jared mentioned the sales man was on vacation and rather than offering a solution he mentioned "Did you want to purchase the guarantee or not." I felt like after they got my $$$$ their word and my business was not important ANYMORE! Please stay away! I don't wish this upon ANYONE, they make you believe that you will still be a valued customer BUT seems like it was just at the time I was making the purchase NOT after. My fiancé got my engagement ring here and I have been very impressed with the customer service. They really went above and beyond with their services. My ring had to be sent out for 5 weeks for a repair and I had it for a week when another diamond fell out. I called and told them that I would be in the next day. I came in on a Wednesday and dropped my ring off. I got a call two days later saying that ring was ready. They said that if I had any more issues that they'd order me a new ring. A side note - my fiancé got the lifetime warranty on the ring so all of these services were free. I ordered my fiancé's ring here as well. I will be coming back! read more

Don't go here to send your jewelry for repair! I came in to send my pearl earrings because the gold stick broke off from the base of the pearl. I wanted to see how much it would be to fix it. They sent it out to their repair shop, they were charging way more than what I purchased the earrings for so I asked for them back. When my bf went to go pick them up, they didn't give him back the box I turned them in. Instead they gave him a little clear baggy and not only was the box missing but so was the gold stick that goes thru your ear hole! I called and they said I never gave them a gold stick so i asked for the pictures that a lady took before sending them out and instead of sending me the pics she took that day, she sent me pics of what she took today! Called back and she said those are the pics she took that day but she lied because the earrings were inside a box when she took the pics and the pics she sent me were on some sort of plastic cushion and when I said the gold stick could have been stuck inside the box she said she didn't have the box anymore!! Also when I gave her the earrings 1 of the plastic circles so the earring can stay in place in your ear, was missing because I couldn't find it when it fell, well what do you know they gave me a plastic circle but not the gold stick!!! read more

The worst experience of my life. All I can say is lies lies lies! I left so happy after my boyfriend bought my engagement ring here. We fell in love with a setting that is supposedly custom made...they promised that I can upgrade my diamond later for any if I wanted to, that they will send the setting certification and diamond certification to us by mail, that Canadian diamonds are nicer...that Bluenile would not even match the diamond value...the lies continued...being the non-diamond experts we are...they got us...he bought me the $10, 000 of my dreams....and that's when the nightmare begun...we called and called....and they had excuse after excuse on why we weren't receiving the certification...we then found out at our local Zales that we can only replace the diamond if we double the value of it, and we found better quality diamonds at the jewelry market certified by the GIA (which now I know should be the only diamond certifications we should trust) and a setting with the same "uniqueness" and quality for half the price. Returning my engagement ring brought tears to my eyes, I imagined that being the ring of my life....please don't buy your dream girl dream ring here...there is no such thing...unless you don't care you are getting ripped off and maybe given rhinestones instead of diamonds. Please learn from our mistake. Do your research before falling in love with a ring. The time I wasted with customer service, the headaches, and tears....save yourself. The employees were really helpful and nice when my fiancé went in and picked out my ring, which is the reason he bought it there. However I do not think ANYONE should have to wait 2 months to be able to wear their engagment ring, which is what happens when you have small fingers and have to special order your ring in a small enough size. If they design a ring that cannot be resized small enough without special orders, I think that they should at least have the ring back to you in a realistic amount of time. AND I don't think I should be treated like I am an idiot when I call to check in on my order since they are the only ones who can track it. No calls back with updates, and bad customer service. read more
