Ham Cachito and breakfast tequeño with un cafecito.
DeLito T.

We came out for breakfast and left very satisfied. The tequeños were tasty and good, the service had ladies with knowledge, and the ambience was quiet. Overall I will give it a 4.5 stars, if the place was bigger with a menu with more breakfast varieties, it would have been 5 stars.

Tequeño that will drive you crazy!

Tattoo artists may look like gangbangers but mostly they're divas. In order to see Cato from Marked 4 Life, an expert in ethnic tattoo designs, I had to get an endorsement from his boss, pay in advance, and take whatever appointment he gave me. There was only one slot available and it was at 8am on a weekday. Of course I almost missed my appointment. I had to drive to the edge of the civilized world, West Kendall, it was raining and people were driving like they were in bumper cars at the Dade County Youth Fair. I skipped the most important meal of the day and two hours into my session my stomach started growling like Godzilla. I think he was actually losing his concentration because of my talkative stomach. He also finished the second part of my chest piece in an 1 1/2 hours when the first half took almost 2 1/2. He must've been desperate to get me out of there. I know I was desperate to eat, so I stopped at my closest Yelp Bookmark on my way out of WeKe...Tequeño Mania, that serves Venezuelan-style fried cheese sticks. The Mania part of the name is true, it's crazy in there. It shares the location with a Bill Pay/Check Cashing/Envios to (insert Latin American country). There was a customer with 3 babies in tow losing it in there. She was complaining about late fees and how her husband had just been deported by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). I gave her the $2 she was missing, not because I'm a Good Samaritan, but because my hunger headache couldn't take another second of her 'pleito'. Here's what cured it -- Gouda - the Dutch would shake their heads in disgust if they ever had this. Basically a string cheese wrapped in dough that didn't melt during frying. Spinach 'n Cheese - so this is where Chili's leftover spinach-artichoke dip goes... Coconut 'n Cheese - shredded coconut makes me cough so I don't know what I was expecting but it's a lot like melting mozzarella on an Almond Joy. Guava 'n Cheese - one of those flavors I get homesick for when I leave Miami. I will extend this treat's visa indefinitely. Cachito de Chorizo - The sausage in the middle tasted like it was equal parts hoof, spice and grease. Maná definitely wasn't singing about this South American bagel-dog in their unplugged hit 'Cachito'. Frozen Chicha - drinkable rice pudding sweetened with condensed milk and spiced with cinnamon. If I lived any closer I'd be a 'ChupaChicha' that raided their stash daily. Check out how it's traditionally made in this episode of Brew Masters -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fcf8WUB33hg Don't worry commercially available chicha uses the synthetic enzyme ptyalin and goes through the pasteurization process. I walked out of there like Edward Tequeñoshands with five doughy cheese sticks but I'd only go back for two of them and the drinks. The dough is too dry from rotating on 7-11 style spits, the fillings tend to be salty and lukewarm at best. Tequeño Mania. should take a page out of European Corner's book and use a Baño María method to keep their product moist, the filling hot and customers happy. http://www.yelp.com/biz/european-corner-south-miami

i am obsessed with tequenos, especially guava and cheese ones! i think it is such a great idea that they made this little fast food restaurant with such a variety of them. From salty to sweet you can definitely satisfy your cravings here. Not the best guava and cheese one i have had but its not bad. The gouda cheese and ham one is delicious and the chocolate one good but a bit too sweet if you eat the whole thing, i recommend sharing that one with someone. They also have little boxes where there original cheese tequenos come frozen so you can make them at home, i thought that was an excellent idea. They also have this drink called a cocadas which is like a coconut milk drink with coconut shavings in it, its pretty good. Not as good as if you were drinking a pina colada but it'll do.

My daughter's favorite fast food restaurant. Tequeño Mania has a variety of delicious Venezuelan Tequenos filled with cheese, ground beef, jam, jam and cheese, dulce de leche, chocolate, pork, guava, guava and cheese, spinach and many more, as well as their tasty Cachitos. They also have cocadas ( coconut milk drink ) and malta (but the Polar one :) As a Venezuelan I can tell you that these are the best Tequeños I have tried in Miami so far, you should try the cheese one but be careful they are so fresh, perfectly made and juicy that you can not have just one, thats why I recommend you to have a sweet one for desert after, like the chocolate, although next time we will be getting the dulce de leche. Another must is their cafe con leche, nothing better than start your day with a Tequeño and a cafe con leche from Tequeño Mania!!

Great spot to sit down and enjoy some tequeños and cachitos. The place is very clean and quiet. The food can be prepared right on the spot and the service is nice. The prices are reasonable and the sauces that go with the tequeños are delicious.

Nice Venezuelan treat =)

How badly do you want Venezuelan food? Can you drive a little further? Do so! This place is overpriced and usually empty. With so many options for a good tequeño eating here does not feel inviting in anyway unless you're getting your car serviced next door. Their menu mainly consists of tequeños of various fillings. Other options are not recommended lets just say its not their specialty. I won't completely disregard this place but definitely not a place I see myself visiting anytime soon due to the many other options in the area that offer a more enjoyable dine in experience at cheaper prices.

Love this place. Even though I prefer the traditional tequeño, their ham and cheese one is really good.

It's on the way to FIU for me which I love and it's way cheaper and better than the tequeños that FIU sells.

This particular location is probably the best one I've been to. They have something for everyone including burgers, sandwiches, gyros, wraps, and of course onion rings and fries. My favorites are the Grilled Chicken Pita Wrap and Gyro Wrap. They're somewhat the healthier options but of course, I cannot resist ordering some Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings. Both are perfectly cooked and crispy. I also tried their Philly but it was kinda too plain for me. Now they have a new $6.99 menu for budget-conscious eaters. It offers a sandwich with fries which is a great value. This place is still a staple among the fast food restaurants in Miami. What I like the most about Miami Grill is they actually prep everything fresh rather than microwave like the usual burger chains counterparts.

I've been to Miami subs many many times and I've always got a super soft bun but today it was soo fresh and just melted in your mouth. We ordered two cheese steaks subs with fries and two drinks with Miami Grill signature cups. Worth every penny. We ended up going back to order a chocolate milkshake because you can't leave Miami Grill without a chocolate milkshake! Creamy and rich! Overall, highly recommend coming here for the cheese steaks subs sub (combo order #2). The best cheese steak sub we've had in Miami! Service: 10/10 Friendly. Prompt. Lou, the customer service representative, was extremely helpful & nice!! Happily served us and was very kind!!! Made our experience way more memorable & enjoyable than expected! One employee can make the whole company better and I'd say Lou is that guy! Ambiance: 10/10 Lots of seating, good for larger parties. It's has a cool Retro Miami vibe inside & outside. Their menu is pretty diverse so lots of options for people in the party! They have two TV's that they were showing the news/games on!

This restaurant has the most phenomenal burgers I've ever had! I ordered the Under Pressure Burger,…read morewhich came loaded with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, bacon, guacamole, grilled onions, potato sticks, jalapeños, grilled pickles, ketchup, mustard, and cilantro mayo. I customized mine by removing the pickles and mustard and adding the pineapple sauce on top, which was an absolute game changer! My boyfriend went for the Love Me Two Times Burger, stacked with double patties, double bacon, and double cheese, great for a simple bacon cheeseburger! We also got a side of fries, and let me tell you, they're easily in my top 10 fries of all time; crispy, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. My burger? Possibly the best burger I've ever had. The combination of savory bacon, spicy jalapeños, creamy guacamole, and the sweetness of the pineapple sauce made every bite an explosion of flavor. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, with a super cool vibe, decorated with guitars, paintings of artists, and a rock-inspired theme. On top of the amazing food, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I could easily eat their burgers three days in a row and wouldn't get tired of them. If you love burgers, you NEED to try Rock That Burger. I'll definitely be back!
