My favorite favorite Mexican place to eat. I won't eat no where else lol the cheese dip and salsa is top tier. The service is AMAZING. Never feel rushed and they're always sweet! The food is just ugh so good read more

This restaurant always has good food and great service. Love going there with the family!

We wandered up to see a sunflower field and since it was supper time we decided to try this place. We got in before the supper rush. The decor is over the top fun colorful Mexican. It's interesting because this is an old Hardee's that had been made over. They've done an excellent job. Who knew it could fit so many tables?? The menu offered a lot of choices. My wife chose a pork burrito and I got a combination house special with chicken, steak, chorizo and shrimp. Everything was so good. The cheese sauce was delicious. The server we had disappeared after we got our food and the bill. She was ok before that. If you're end up here though I recommend trying this one. Looked kid friendly. Serving size was generous and prices reasonable. We had a lovely visit. read more

The food was great, the tacos were very good, same with the steak. The service was Amazing, the food came to us before 20 minutes. It was quiet inside, although there was a lot of people. The only reason why this isn't 5 stars because the tacos were small but I would definitely come back read more

I went here around 2 pm on a Friday. It wasn't very busy. The food was good, not great. I'll say 3 to 4 stars. Service was excellent, however: 5 stars. Ambience was 4 stars. Overall: 4! Not bad at all. I may return soon. There is some very nice, very traditionally-Mexican decor in the dining room, like a large very colorful artisan-made glazed tile mural. (I could've tried ordering in Spanish but I didn't feel like showing off that day, lol.) I dropped $20 here for lunch and tip, and felt appreciated by the staff. I had actually started out going to a diner where I had an unpleasant experience and this was where I ended up spending my hard-earned cash for lunch (instead of Depot Tavern, where I'll never return). read more

We stopped in with a group of 12 for Taco Tuesday ($1.49 tacos). I got 2 beef and a chicken, with a side of sour cream, guac, and cheese dip. The beef tacos were my favorite - the beef had a lot of good flavor, but the shredded chicken wasn't bad either. I love the fresh queso blanco they shred and cover the tacos with. We'll definitely be back! read more

The food here is great, the staff is very friendly! One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area!!

I love the vibe and aesthetic. The decor is on point!!! Got a quesadilla and it didn't come with beans and rice side, which made me kind of sad because I love rice and beans LOL. I thought all the quesadillas came with rice. That's unfortunate. That's the only reason for one star down. Otherwise it tasted fantastic. Also the beer comes in this huge huge huge glass LOL. read more

Good food and service was great! Ambiance was as expected at a Mexican food resturant.

Come here on Tuesdays. Beef or Chicken Tacos for $.99. Fresh chips and salsa. El Yucateco Chile Habenero sauce both green and red on table. Very good service. Good chips and salsa. I recommend this place due to quality food at a good price. read more

Tequila Jalisco Mexican Restaurant 4 - Taco Tuesdays $.99 for Chicken or Beef. - Mexican Near Me - Richmond, Missouri

My family and I will never go back to eat here again. Sure it's convenient in a small town, but you'd 110% be better off traveling out of town to another restaurant that actually cares about their customers. Not to mention their food has really gone downhill over the years. This doesn't apply to all the staff there, but there's a few that have become really unfriendly. read more

I really want a real Mexican food in the 50 mile radius of Excelsior Springs. I just figure nobody around here even knows what real Mexican people eat at home. It's not easy to buy real hot salsas, sauces, and forget about home made anything around here. Always disappointed with the fake food joints. read more

The food we received has always been constant, and same with the drinks. Great atmosphere and great for parties. Love it.

Tried this for the first time after they reopened from the fire. Food is ok at best and flavor is pretty lacking. Salsa tasted like it was just tomatoes. Queso also had little flavor. The steak fajita nachos had very little queso on them and the steak was very plain. It's ok, but I'd travel for good Mexican elsewhere read more

Food was decent. Service is terrible, it's been 10min waiting now and no water refill and no check like I asked and I'm 1/5 people in here. Won't be back. read more

Love this place, hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Missouri!, the quality is always great, and the price are too! and the staff is really nice. read more

Taco Tuesday .99 each - that's where I believe the good ends and the mediocre beings! The place was certainly colorful enough and was clean for the most part. The pricing was ok and selection was ok, but the taste for me just wasn't there. These tacos were the most bland I've ever tasted and let's not even talk about service as there really wasn't much to talk about. However, it's still a decent place to go! read more

I don't know if it was due to the bad Mexican food we encountered on the East Coast or the quality of Tequila Jalisco, but by the time we got to Missouri and ate at this restaurant, everything tasted exceptionally good to us! The menu is extensive, so there are the expected combo meals plus a wide variety of other selections. Entrees were plentiful for the price, and the service was truly excellent. Both servers and management were attentive and one had the feeling that if there was any question or problem, they would fix it immediately. My enchilada and tamale were sooo good. In the tamale, there was more meat than masa. I did pause a moment when I realized they used ground beef instead of pulled beef, but it was ground finer than I've seen and tasted delicious with the sauce and spices and masa coating. My husband's chili relleno was done to perfection. Not too much batter, just enough cheese filling so that the flavor of the pepper wasn't overwhelmed. I have to mention the decor because even hubby commented on it. The colors were wonderful. Walls were painted a Western sunset red fading to yellow. The chairs were all different scenes and designs in vibrant colors as you would find in Mexico. They can fit many large parties in this place. read more

Love this place! The shrimp tacos are great! Nice big shrimp and cooked well! Awesome margarita as well! I go here once a week and I am always very pleased! read more

Food was good. However, we weren't welcomed, we came in monday july 31st at 3 and the man who seated us wasn't welcoming, and our server didn't seem engaged, we had to get our own water, she did check on us but it was very quick and made us feel like we were a burden, she was on her phone and eating in customer view, I get eating and being on your phone but keep it hidden. She didn't use any manners. We saw good reviews so had high hopes but very disappointed. At least it was 99¢ margaritas. She only had one other table. read more

Best Mexican outside of metro KC. I love the huevos rancheros. Friendly, good food, strong margaritas. Can get pretty busy on a weekend evening but rarely have to wait for a table. Always serve more food than I can eat. Good stuff. read more

Great food !! Great service!!! Best Mexican Restaurant in town!!!

This was a gem on a recent trip East of Kansas City. Great mix of authentic and Tex-Mex Midwest. We has a shrimp dish and a chicken dish, tried the guacamole and salsa verde. They have great margarita specials, but we took a rain check until a day we aren't driving. read more

Good place to eat. Fair prices. friendly staff

Usually very good. However on this visit they were busy and very slow. Seemed to forget our order and then the manager said it wasn't his fault they were busy. Portion sizes were smaller than normal also. Definitely won't go back when it is busy read more

We have eaten here twice before and had GREAT service and food. NOT anymore. I cannot say it was Mexican fast food because it was slow and they served our tortillas AFTER we had eaten, the salsa tastes like there is sugar in it, WTH? I had the steak mexicano, YIKES I have eaten pine that was more tender. My wife had Combo #1 HOLY MOLLY taco had a little meat lettuce and 1/4 teaspoon of cheese, the enchilada had ground beef wrapped in tortilla and a little sauce. That was all. YUCK. I think there is new owners or absent owners, service SUCKED. read more

Food is excellent and you will not find better service anywhere. We eat there atleast once a week and haven't been disappointed yet!
