Food was Ok, not good. The chips served had an "stale oil" flavor and the salsa is heavy on cilantro and hot spice. Enchiladas are heavy with red sauce, beans and rice appear canned/instant. The bill does not reflect the menu prices. Both meals purchased were a dollar more on the bill than the menu. We let it go this time since there were just two of us eating, but a larger group or more items could be a big price difference. read more

We have driven past this restaurant countless times and just now stopped in. Have we been missing out!!! We stopped in on a Sunday and took part in their margarita special: The Bulldog. So great. Lucia, our beautiful and patient server, was quick to help entertain our toddler. I had the Enchilada Bandura (gluten intolerant) & the hubby had the Hawaiian faijitas. Both were legit. I normally love tequilas. I like getting the same thing cuz it is so good, my coworkers wanted to try it because they seen me eating it another time. So Friday we tried calling no one answered the phone I trie 6 times. My husband went and placed orders. when we go it the meat was dried and over cooked there was no pineapple in anyone's. Well the last several times we have visited it was pretty good! We especially enjoy the bull dog margaritas. Our last visit was on a Saturday and it was advertised half price bulldogs so three of us ordered up! When we received the bill they charged us full price so we mentioned it to our waitress and she made an adjustment but....not half price..she said it is a buy two get one free which does not come out to half price on three bull dogs. If it's not half price,don't advertise as such... my mother had a quesadilla and may I say you may want to eat something if that is what you are gonna Ofer. It wouldn't fill up a three year old and had no salsa or sour cream. Just a dry tiny tortilla. I ordered a taco salad and yes I realize authentic Mexican restaurants do not specialize in them. So it should be no surprise it was nothing like a salad. Very small and very bland. I don't think we will be back. read more

I was recently in Garden city for work and my team and I ate here three nights in a row. It's that good! The food was excellent, and fairly priced, the staff extremely helpful and the beer cold and dirt cheap. $2.00 for a monster 32oz. If you're interested in an interesting, delicious and HUGE dish I recommend the Mochahete. It's a scalding stone crucible containing short ribs, chicken, roasted jalapeños and veggies all being cooked in a creamy sauce by the heat of the stone serving dish. Amazing. I was disappointed with the serving size. Very small quantity of good. customer service was good. Food was ok tasting nothing too exciting.

This place was super good! Everything was pretty quick and the food was delicious!! The service was quick and very nice. The Bulldogs were not as good. I don't know if they put to much ice or what but they seemed to get watered down really fast and maybe add a little more alcohol to it (not to sound like an alcoholic) but you couldn't really taste anything except water and Corona. read more

This is the worst place I have eaten at in a very long time first when the chips and salsa come out the chips were cold and very stale so I ask for some fresh chips. They take the chips I had in back put them in the fryer then brought them back out that made them even worse. The Lady that brought them back out literally threw them on the table and walked away. Then I got my fajitas it was all cold other then the Tortilla shells but they were so hard that I almost couldn't eat them. Now my jaw hurts so bad from chewing it I need some Tylenol. I just moved to Garden City from Las Vegas (yes I know) and was looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant. This was not it. First off I knew my wife and I were in the wrong place when we walked in, it was loud and super Mexican tacky (which was a huge turn off). We sat down and our waitress who seemed to be annoyed being there asked for our drink order. My wife got a really weird drink that tasted like a diabetic coma in a glass. I asked what margaritas where on the rocks. She didn't know and after checking said the flavored were. I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks. What I got was a margarita that had a way past over due mango flavoring in it, it was like drinking juice that had been left out for two days and it turned my stomach after two sips. I asked if they had nopalita's (cactus). The waitress didn't know what they were (even though she was Hispanic). I then asked if they had grilled jalepenos. She said they had bacon wrapped jalepenos stuffed with chicken. We ordered that and the queso fondue. I was expecting a sizzling plate of cheese and pico that can be scooped up with chips. What we got was a bowl of velveta cheese. I swear to god I am not making that up, we had to add salsa to it to make it sort of appetizing. We then got the stuffed jalepenos. The bacon was very chewy and the chicken stuffed inside was ice cold. ICE COLD!!!! It looked like the microwaved it. We had enough. We asked for the check which the waitress gladly threw at us. 36 dollars. 36 freaking dollars for 2 sickly sweet drinks and 2 disgusting apps. Unbelievable. In a town with a large population of Hispanics it's unbelievable I can't find a decent place. If you are looking for Americanized Mexican food devoid of any flavor or genuine spices then by all means go here. If not go anywhere else. How this place gets 4.5 stars is beyond me. read more

Tried several dishes here before making a review. Food is sub par seems like they throw grease and cheese on everything. My beans on several ocassions that i went had puddles of grease. Food most of the time has cheese on everything. Cant really call this mexican food grease and cheese would be a better category for this restaurant. Mixed drinks were average. Environment of the restaurant is ok but seems like every mexican reataurant in Garden city has the samw custom chairs and tables theme going on. So overall a sub par restaurant with greasy cheesy food. read more
