Tried to call to make a new patient appointment. I was referred by another doctor who said they had spoken to her to make sure she could see me. Waited three days with no call back. When I finally got ahold of someone, it was a horrible experience. She was rude and short, said they weren't taking new patients, didn't have record of me, and could try and get back to me in a few days. Also, they said the visit would be $610?! I've been seeing Dr. Teresi for over ten years. She's one of the most brilliant doctors I've seen [and I've seen a lot]. She's helped me control my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and my Type II Diabetes. She's looks at the WHOLE picture. She knows the latest treatment protocols and drugs. She spends time with you. In the beginning I shared the frustration of the long waits in the lobby. I spoke with her about it and she said I should set it up with the front office to text/call me when she was 30-60 minutes away from our appointment. This has worked like a charm for me. I call the day before the appointment, remind them to text me.....and they do. Yes, this means I have to be ready to be there any time from the scheduled appointment time to a couple hours after that. But it works for me. There's something on yelp that says this office is closed. It is not. Not sure how that got up there, but YELP should remove that banner. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Teresi....you just need to work with her dedication to her patients, which translates to her being behind schedule. read more

The front desk secretary is incredibly rude and unfriendly. The waiting room is not handicap accessible and the wheelchair could not fit inside the room. Instead of helping me the secretary just looked at me, didn't bother to greet or help me and proceeded to ignore me until I gave them my health history forms. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. They are incredibly rude and I will be complaining to the insurance Company and also filing a complaint to make sure they are handicap complaint since my standard wheelchair would not fit inside the waiting room. read more

The Dr. is great and spends time with you. But her medical assistant is her front office and it is very hard to get a hold of them. I have left several messages to answer some questions and when they call back and you miss it... forget it it takes another 2 weeks for someone to call back. I am ready to just walk in there. It is almost impossible to get prescriptions renewed if you use a mail order service. I tried 3 times to get a prescription renewed for Express Scripts because mail order is less expensive for me. I finally gave up went to my local CVS to get my prescription filled. Also wait times are horrible, even the first appointment requires a 30 minute wait. I am currently looking for another doctor within my plan. Too bad, because Dr. Teresi seems caring, knowledgeable and professional. If she could get her office together I would love to stay with her but the condition of the back office concerns me. I am not sure I can depend on them when I need it. read more

I feel badly giving two stars, because I truly did think the doctor was very knowledgeable. She took her time with me on my first appointment to get to the root of the issues that I was having and I appreciated not feeling rushed. This was, however, my only appointment with her. I had a follow up appointment scheduled for a few months later it about a week before I realized I had a work conflict and called to move the appointment. This clearly didn't get saved in the computer, because I got a very unfriendly call from the office the day of my original appointment asking where I was. They had no record of me moving the appointment and were very rude about it. When the time came for my second appointment, the office called me a couple hours before and said to come an entire hour later. This didn't work with my schedule (I work full time and took time off for this appointment) so I rescheduled. The day of my rescheduled appointment came and they called AGAIN saying to come an entire hour later! What blew my mind is how nonchalant they were about this! My career works on appointments as well and this is horrible customer service. I told them I would not be coming in and I found another doctor. They wasted hours of my time, not to mention the money I lost booking out time at work. Like I said the doctor was good, but the service is terrible. read more

Do you have to wait to see Dr. Teresi? Yep, you do. Sometimes it's a long wait, but you know when you do get in to see her, she will take ample time to deal with all your issues. I can't think of any doctor's office where you don't have to wait. Try spending time in an ER room waiting to get in and see how long THAT takes. Really, don't understand the mindset of certain people who feel, they shouldn't have to wait over others--take a book, grab a magazine, knit, pack a lunch, do whatever, it's certainly worth the time. She is very detailed in her appointments. But, she gives the same time to all of her patients. I've been a patient of hers for almost 20 years and wouldn't change for anyone. Am I a patient person? Hell no--I stand in front of the microwave screaming, "COME ON!" However, she's helped me with maintaining my diabetes (Juvenile onset, no less), and is definitely worth the wait. Dr. Teresi is a wonderful doctor, but her office is so poorly run that I believe it prevents her from providing quality care. She ordered a follow-up blood test because my liver enzymes were abnormal. I called more than 7 times. At first they claimed they never got the test results, but I got so fed up, I went and got them and mailed them to the office. They never did provide me with the results. I took them to my gp to have them interpreted. I decided to change doctors and allowed two months to get copies of my medical records. I even asked my new doctor's office to see if her office would provide the records to them. They did not provide my records to my new doctor or me until I filed a complaint with the medical board--and then it was after I had seen my new doctor. Regarding wait times: they were never less than 45 minutes when I was the first appointment of the day. It was not unusual to sit and wait while I could hear her making non emergency phone calls while her patients waited. No doctor is worth the lack of concern/respect for their patient's time. read more
