I've been coming to this place for over 10 years, and it used to be one of my favorites. The food was always consistent, flavorful, and worth coming back for. Unfortunately, over the past few visits, the quality has gone down significantly. The teriyaki sauce is now overly salty and tastes watered down, almost like it's been mixed with a cheaper soy sauce. On top of that, my orders have been coming out wrong more often than not. I completely understand that prices are going up everywhere, and I don't mind paying more but lowering the quality of the food is disappointing. My wife and I were driving back and fourth between DTLA and Bellflower and somewhere along the way we needed to stop and get some lunch. It was around 3:30PM on a Saturday when we settled on stopping for burgers (well, that was the plan). This place caught our eye since it was conveniently located, had plenty of parking, and had a few tables for us to eat at outside so we parked and headed to the ordering counter. Did I come here to get a burger? Yes, did I? No, no I did not. After looking over the menu I instead decided to order a Teriyaki Chicken bowl with white rice. I believe it was around the $10 mark and the wait time was around maybe 5-10 minutes or so. The food itself was as standard as it could be, tasting fine enough but not really doing anything to make me ever want to return for seconds. Was the meal bad? No. Was it good? I'll say it was average at best. Overall, Teriburger helped in a pinch and had me fed. The team working was solid enough, the food was solid, and the atmosphere was nice thanks to the outdoor seating. Overall, the flavor was good, and the chicken was decent--nothing spectacular, but not bad either. I had been here once before, years ago, maybe around 2014 or 2015, and I remember the beef being actual pieces of meat. This time, it felt like the beef had been chopped into tiny bits, almost as if they were stretching it to seem like more. I'm not sure if this is due to rising meat prices or other factors, but the quality just wasn't the same, which was a bit disappointing. That being said, if you're looking for something quick and affordable, this place isn't a bad option. I paid around $11-12 for a plate, which included a big portion of white rice, some chicken, and some beef. First time here because I was working around the area. Ordered a Large Beef Bowl. I was surprised by the to beef to rice ratio. I'd say about 4:1. I paid $13 for a large bowl of rice. Ouch! Teriyaki sauce was chunky and sour too. Service was alright. The cashier was neither welcoming or informative. Both of which are important because you never know who's a regular or new customer. The food always tastes good here. I love ordering the chicken and beef teriyaki plate with veggies. They make sure you get a good serving and it's all cooked well and it comes with siracha and teriyaki sauce. The fries are also really good and crispy and reasonably seasoned. I had ordered two so I thought $14 for two it was only for one once he added the second one it pump the price up to $27 for two small rice bowl with beef no vegetables that's it. Teriburger in Lynwood is a total hole-in-the-wall, yet, absolutely good place for an affordable lunch or to-go dinner. In my opinion, it's better as a drive-thru since there is hardly any seating inside & not much to look at outside on the small patio while you eat. I'm not even sure if they have public restrooms, so just try it to-go. I would recommend the chicken bowl & the egg rolls. The (2) egg rolls are hot, fresh, and crispy. The chicken bowl is half juicy, diced pieces of chicken with some teriyaki sauce and half white rice on the bottom. They supply you with an extra side of teriyaki and a slightly smaller cup of red hot chili sauce. It's a fairly wholesome meal if you order a large. You could do a half and half order, but I didn't care for their pork. I had some crispier, burnt pieces of pork. The chicken was a lot easier for our toddlers (1 & 2 YOA) to eat. Beef, shrimp, and fish are also on the menu. The lady who always works the drive-thru is really nice, but I can't stand it when she cuts herself off on the intercom and she never repeats orders back. The drive thru order taker rushes you and they forgot to double check my order and forgot some of my food and I had to drive all the way back I live 30 minutes away after waiting like 30 minutes in a drive thru line with only two cars in it ridiculous . So I've gone to Teriburger about of handful of times now. Usually get there vegetable bowl with a side of chicken or any other protein (to be some what healthy) and come out satisfied. I honestly don't like the plain salad they have so I added some of their chicken bowl into my poppy seed salad and it was just what I needed. Last night went to my favorite teriyaki place only to find they messed up badly! Why change a perfectly good thing?? The beef teriyaki: the texture makes you think someone put the meat in a blender. Honestly I got grossed out thinking maybe one of the employees pre-chewed my food for me. When I tried to put the teriyaki sauce they put in a small cup it fell out of the cup like jelly. So I went last night to pick up some chicken and as I am in the drive thru placing my order a huge RAT was the door trying to get in thru the back. My stomach turned. You will NEVER go wrong with a large chicken bowl with avocado. Runs you about $8. The portion is great. The chicken cooked well. Their teriyaki and siracha sides are good enough. Great carbs filled meal. Always a place I consider when at home and hungry and too lazy to cook, or after a great workout when I'm looking for carbs. It's a small place but it has made a name for itself and everybody who knows this place, I'm sure has never complained. I will always be a customer.
