I've been eating at this location for years and I've never written a review on this hidden gem of a restaurant, I apologize. Food: I've always been skeptical of locations that have a wide variety of food choices because the quality suffers, but Toms burgers does not disappoint. I've tried a variety of their food: Carne Asada plate, crispy taco (my favorite), beef hamburger, chicken burger (new favorite), and the list goes on. Each and every item is tasteful, juicy, and a great eating experience. I rate all the food plates I've tried a 5 out of 5. Service/Staff: Since I've been coming here for years, I've became a regular and very personable with the staff. However, despite my "ties" I've never seen a negative gesture towards a customer and they are always attentive towards the customer. 5 out of 5 Overall: I can write a book for all yelpers, but I will say overall the food is great for the price and not disappointing. Great Mexican/Burger joint! My husband and I ate here for the first time today and were pretty impressed. The restaurant is very clean and colorful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Yes, you have to pay for refills on drinks, but hey, I can't blame them. The taquito/enchilada plate that I ordered came with an ample helping of rice, beans, and a whole grilled jalapeno and green onion. Very nice presentation for a fast food joint! My husband ordered the all meat carne asada burrito. It was pretty good sized and the meat was tender and flavorful. We also ordered chili cheese fries to try. They were salty, gooey, crunchy, and everything you would expect them to be. If you want a chuckle, look for the following items on the menu - Steack Picadillo plate (yes STEACK not STEAK) and also Chi fries with optional Che. Made me giggle and added to the charm of this cute little spot. They also have a fresh salsa bar that is indeed FRESH. I can't stand messy salsa bars that seem to have salsa displayed from the week before. This isn't the case here, it's fresh and tasty. When I said no I just wanted one the attitude of the lady was just terrible saying it's already made and you already paid for it soooooo. I mean there's no respect for a regular customer. As a kid this was the place to eat before they opened the Jack In the Box down the street ;(. Back in the early 21 century the food was splendid and the prices were incredible. But after that chain came to the block, the prices hiked up, dressing and refills took the most damage, things i took for granted were no longer free ;(. This place is very welcoming and the food is great. The tables are always kept clean and there salsa bar is always fresh. The food is beyond delicious and is always cooked in your view. They are very patient and understanding. Ive been going to this place 13 years and have never had a thing to complain about.
