I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to anyone :) Now that I'm living in Ft. Worth, I miss having her as my doctor, even though I only saw her for a couple of months!

Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.

Didn't send in the correct paperwork for the pharmacy so my medication has been ready but I can't pick it up due to it not being PA'd (prior authorization, needed if you have insurance) it's been 10 days since I've come to the clinic and still haven't received all my medication I was told they were going to send over the PA yesterday so I called my pharmacy today and it still wasnt done. First of all, the doctor did not greet her or acknowledge her when entering the room. My friend told her about the issues she had been having for quite some time. She mentioned changes in her diet and overall lifestyle but could not pinpoint what was causing her health issues. My friend , in desperation, used the "F" word to emphasize the amount of pain and anguish she had been experiencing. The doctor became irate and chastised her for using the f-word. My friend apologized profusely and asked if they could move on with the check up. The doctor began the checkup and was very forceful. We think that my friend's bleeding might have been the cause of the doctor's malpractice. This is an area that has a lot of BIPOC. The doctor behaved in a disgustingly unprofessional manner.

What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

The doctor knows his stuff but they should maybe do some empathy training for staff. No one seems to care and they aren't attentive at all. Also maybe invest in better security so people don't get followed in and out by the neighborhood crazies walking in.

I have been going to Dr. Kelly O'Brien for about 4 years…read more She is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend her. She begins the visit by listening and answering questions. She never hurries me or makes me feel like she doesn't want to see me. I like the fact that all tests are run in the building, so there is no running all over town for blood work, X Rays and such. Dr. O'Brien is also very positive. She accentuates the good things that I have done to improve my health. This makes me want to try even harder. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I am so glad that a friend recommended her to me. She no longer takes new medicare patients. Another huge plus for me is that she is always on time.
