    Crab Rangoon

I'm really surprised with the reviews being so low and recent ! I came in at 820pm they close at 9pm and the front lady assuming owner was really nice !! Really sweet and cheerful . The food was really good and very much large portions . There were5 crab rangoons (which could have used more cream cheese) but we got to them before the picture lol but food was good ! Totally $50 for 2 plates and 1 entree and 2 bottles drinks.

Clean, big portions, and friendly service. The teriyaki bowl has a good variety in veggies. Highly recommend for a casual bite!

Beef Teriyaki & Shrimp Fried Rice...
    V A.

Teriyaki 2U: Ordered the Beef Teriyaki and Shrimp Fried Rice. The Beef Teriyaki was above average, the pieces could have been cut a little better. But overall a solid tasting Beef Teriyaki and fairly tender pieces. This comes with a salad and typical dressing for a Teriyaki place. The Shrimp fried rice was good as well. You get nice decent size shrimp not the baby shrimp. The shrimp was very tasty like it was slightly battered sprinkled with potato starch or something then deep fried. Fried rice had pees and carrots nothing spectacular, but it tasted good. The prices are a little high, but the portioning are pretty healthy. At least with the Shrimp Fried rice they don't use the split section containers. It's all one big flat spot. One bonus is they are open on a Sunday, where many teriyaki places are closed. I will definitely go back to try some other dishes. I called the order in and my food was already done when I got there. In and out. The place seemed pretty busy. If your in the neighborhood give this place a try...

One of our favorite places to get Teriyaki. The best part is their amazing Teriyaki tofu.

The honey walnut shrimp was also the 2nd favorite and the black pepper beef short ribs was the third. Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

This custom was preserved in Sweden and gradually evolved into the Smörgåsbord (Scandinavian cold buffet), which is the direct and continuous ancestor of the modern buffet. · France (18th-19th century): The French adopted the word "Buffet" (originally meaning a sideboard or serving table) to describe this self‑service style of dining and promoted it among high society. · Perfection in Japan: The modern buffet model we know today--featuring cold dishes, hot dishes, desserts, and a wide variety of options--was established by the Imperial Hotel Tokyo in 1958. · Las Vegas: The now‑popular "all‑you‑can‑eat" model originated in Las Vegas, USA, in the 1940s. Casinos offered cheap or even free buffets to keep gamblers on the premises, a strategy that quickly became widespread. · Introduction to China: The buffet was introduced to China in the 1930s, initially appearing only in foreign‑funded hotels. It was not until the late 1980s that it reached the general public through tourist joint‑venture hotels. Here's the English translation of your review: Ambience: This buffet restaurant seems to have been around for a long time. You can tell it was quite luxurious about 10 years ago. Relatively speaking, it's still fairly clean. Taste: There is a huge variety of options, covering dozens of items including Chinese stir-fried dishes, Western food, Japanese cuisine, teppanyaki, fruit, seafood, salad, as well as drinks and ice cream. I mainly tried the Chinese stir-fried dishes, boiled shrimp, and teppanyaki. Considering the price per person, I think every item met my expectations. Service - unexpectedly good: From asking how many people in our party at the entrance, to guiding us to a table and asking if the seat was comfortable, to explaining the dining process, and clearing plates during the meal - all of it was very good. Room for improvement: Some of the items are pre-made dishes that only need simple deep-frying or grilling. Pre-made dishes can be categorized into a few types: easy to cook, easy to eat, easy to heat. Based on my experience in the industry, the essence of pre-made dishes is really an issue of trust. If the selection is done properly and customers don't experience any adverse reactions after eating, then it's a good business.

Sans Woks did some things very well and other not as good, but as long as you stuck with the items you like, it was an overall solid spot. New owners took over about 18 months ago and I was excited, they claimed to keep the old recipes, while adding more items to the menu. On my first visit the portion was generous and the flavor was OK. The Hot and Sour was not the same, but I liked the Orange Chicken more. However, as I returned, portions got smaller, flavor got weaker and the chef ignored my requests for more heat and more seasoning. The last couple visits the food was flat out terrible and I now refuse to return. Unless they make significant changes, I don't see them remaining open. It's a slap in the face to the name, if you are not going to honor the original restaurant, CHANGE YOUR NAME.
