Hands down our favorite local spot. They have very generous portions, you could feed two people with one order of food and more importantly it tastes great. The spicy chicken teriyaki is the right amount of spicy and the pork has good flavor. The chicken Katsu is good as well and they give you enough sauce but you can always ask for more as we did. Doesn't disappoint. We eat here probably once a month for the past 6 years - portions are large, chicken is always tender and juicy with just the slightest char. My kids love that they can get California rolls, they are light and freshly made. The couple that own it are always working, they are super nice. Have never had anything bad from here. Always have leftovers amd its a fair price for homemade food. The yakisoba is not my favorite, its heavy on the nutmeg / chinese 5 spice / cinnamon flavor, but not terrible. I am disappointed tonight in picking up an order that when I got home was missing a meal. Not only that, the chicken Katsu/Goza combo was so overdone it wasn't edible. When I called they realized they forgot to give me a bag with the other meal. They didn't refund me in the phone as I requested. They also sell sushi and it's fairly cheap for the number of pieces they give you! I ordered the unagi roll which had 8 pieces for $6.99! Everytime I go in, I'm always greeted by the owners and they're so nice and friendly. Their take out option is super convenient, but I've had good experiences dining in. I checked their website before going. Arrived to find out that they offer about half of the sushI rolls that are on the website. We ordered an appetizer, crab rangoon. The brought it out with no additional small plates for us to share. My wife, daughter and I looked at each other after the first bite and all said it had a fishy taste. I'm sure they fried it in the same oil as some fish. The sushi if you can call it that was terrible. Sushi takes a special rice and they just used regular rice causing the rolls to fall apart. Teriyaki was average like most places and the soup was ok. Overall not impressed at all. Not sure how they got 4 and 5* but we will not be going back. This place is gross. I ordered the Orange Chicken which is partially stupid of me because I should order teriyaki from a teriyaki place but it shouldn't be on the menu if it isn't good. I've been craving some decent Chinese food for a while now. I also ordered the crab rangoon which was also terrible. Too much off-tasting crab and not really any cream cheese. I actually prefer cream cheese wontons but usually crab rangoon is good too. Theirs isn't. I hate hate hate hate hate when they give you stupid mushy pieces of chicken and some orange sauce on the side. That's why I stopped ordering sweet and sour chicken from restaurants because no one cooks it in the damn sauce. They think you want some damn weird chicken chunks to dip in your sauce or pour it or whatever the hell they are thinking. Not to mention the sauce was cold and runny. I heated it up and poured it on my chicken and it tasted like crap. Ugh. I'm so disappointed right now. I really wish I could have my $25 back. I even paid $2 extra for fried rice which was terrible. How do you mess up fried rice? I gave them one extra star because my wife's chicken teriyaki was good. I had to eat some of hers because my meal was awful. I really tried to just enjoy it anyway but I couldn't do it. It really all tasted like it was reheated or something. Money down the drain. I should've made a sandwich at home. My husband always gets the short ribs and these are the most tender and delicious that he's found. It's hard to find a place that will put a good char on meat. I love their chicken and beef combo. Surprisingly good teriyaki for a little hole in the wall! I had the tofu teriyaki which was easily two servings, if not more. The fried rice was a little oily for my taste but it had a ton of veggies in it so that was nice. The place isn't fancy but it was pretty clean and very affordable. I found this little gem that opens daily. They work really hard. The food of course is delicious. They are really generous with their portions. I also noticed that they do not charge extra for take out sauces. I have been dining here with my parents and sister. The store offers a punch card too that gives you a free meal after your 12th stamp. I've already filled out about 3 cards. I love their chicken teriyaki. I also like their chicken with stir fried vegetables. My sister usually orders hot seafood noodle soup. It's on the spicy side but good on a cold day. My father likes their General Tso chicken but the volume is enough for 2 more meals for him. Their combo yakisoba has a lot of chicken, beef and shrimp and is super flavorful too. It needs to be shared because one person just can't finish it. Luckily it is next to my chiropractor so I can come here after an office visit. I usually take some food to go for my coworkers.
