    HH bento $20
    Tori L.

HH bento is only $20! Plus my family liked it so it's a win win. The waitress said miso soup is not included for takeout HH bento but I was pleasantly surprised when I got one. That deserved an extra star!

Came here with some work colleagues on a trip from Chicago. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and they had a huge amount of options!

So yummmmy!! Grabbed dinner here with my sister and my cousins since I haven't seen them in awhile. I was going to get sushi the following day so I decide to stick with rolls for this meal. I did they're any roll deal which is a great price for 3 ginormous rolls. I ordered the the Mercer island, crazy horse and I think American roll. I honestly don't remember haha. My sister got the fox island, salmon lover and another roll and we just switch some pieces to try. They were all really good. It was a good amount of food. I ended up taking a whole container of sushi home. Service was really nice. They were around when we needed but they were also tending to other people. It was nice that it wasn't packed with people since the table seem kind of closed together.

We hadn't been to Nami in a few years, so it was nice to revisit this restaurant. I didn't realize there was a special for rolls, 3 for $49, so I definitely took advantage of this offer. Our server was kind and attentive. Our food was great and service was pretty quick!

Came here to celebrate my sons birthday (he requested Sushi). Second time coming, so I knew it was a good choice. Each group took advantage of the "3 any rolls" for $49. A favorite across the board was the "Superstar"! So tasty and filled with every type of meat! Staff friendly and prompt! Each person was offered tea and Miso soup! I understand other reviewers concerns on price. But Eating out is pricey nowadays, and it just is what it is. So go enjoy a great night out and leave the stress of cooking to the Great Sushi chefs!

    Lunch sushi with udon

I was really surprised by how much I loved coming here. The lunch menu is such a great deal they have a few different option for lunch I opted for the lunch udon with 6 piece nigiri. Oh my goodness the nigiri quality was so amazing! The fish was melt in your mouth and the rice was perfectly seasoned. the udon broth was also so delicious and flavorful. My meal was $20 so not bad at all! I would come back here without a doubt. The quality is superb.

Super pricey . $25 rolls on the average. Good enough. Actually the nigiri was great but the rolls were lacking I felt. Hamachi Kama was big and yummy. The rolls weren't worth it. Next time I will do all nigiri.

The lunch menu was affordable. They didn't pre -charge tip for the large party. They spicy fish Soup was delicious. The portions were great .

    Bento box, edamame, hot sake!

The food was really really good, the service was prompt considering it was busy. Price wise I think it's a little speedy., but I will definitely return

I don't know if it just me but the fish feel dry as I eat it. It my first time trying fish katsu though. Miso soup made really good it pair well with my food. The food has great flavor though can't lie about that. A bit disappointed on the take out. Did not check my food til I got home and notice I was missing some of the food as said on the description. I did receive the fish, salad and rice. The rest is not there. Was excited to try it because I never ate there before. Tried to call their restaurant with the number online but it didn't go through.

I can't speak to the ambiance, as we ordered through Uber Eats. However, I appreciate the care and service of how our ordered was packed! The hot and cold items were bagged separately. They included soy, wasabi and pickled ginger. They even added little cups to mix the soy and wasabi! I had a hankering for the monkey brain appetizer a local spot made years ago, several owners ago. I did a google search and Nami sushi came up, since baby sitting grandkids I was tickled pink to see they were associated with Uber. My expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised, they were just like I remembered and delicious!! I also tried their Mariner Roll. Wow! As a sashimi lover and not a fan of too much rice, this roll was perfect, fresh and tasty Hoping to someday try this spot in person!

    Citrus Salmon Specialty Roll

Beautiful restaurant with AMAZING fish quality! Love visiting Nami Sushi when I'm in Federal Way! Seated very quickly by kind staff. Offered complimentary Miso Soup! Got the Happy Hour Nigiri + Spicy Tuna Roll Set (Amazing deal, the cut of fish was thick... love the portion), Salmon Roll, Spider Roll, and the Citrus Salmon Specialty Roll! Everything was so delicious!! Full & Happy!!

    Bento (happy hour)
    Pearl L.

I had this spot bookmarked for the longest time since they first opened. I made a takeout order a while back of their lunch chirashi which was filling and everything tasted fresh. More recently, my boyfriend and I decided to stop by during their happy hour as he had went to Nami Sushi without me. As we entered, there was one other table occupied and we were greeted politely by a waitress/cashier who directed us to the next available booth. We were given glasses of water and menus to browse but I saw that we weren't given a happy hour menu (we arrived around 4:30). I inquired about the happy hour menu and she apologized before getting it and bringing it back to us. After browsing, we went with two bentos and a creamy scallop roll as well as hot tea. I love how spacious the restaurant was and the interior felt so intimate and luxurious despite how it looks outside and where they are located. They definitely can accommodate parties of all sizes. The bathroom was also very clean and felt upscale with a gorgeous sink. The choices of bowls, dishes, and cups are also very fancy and not the traditional or cheap ones you find elsewhere. You can tell that they truly do care about presentation and providing an experience here. Once the orders were placed, we received our miso soup quickly. I was disappointed by the lack of green onions and tofu though. There were very small pieces, like maybe three that I got in mine. I prefer them to be slightly bigger and cubed. The hot tea was very comforting as it was a very windy day but the tea was piping hot, but not enough to scald your lips or tongue. We then got our salads and creamy scallop roll which was satisfying. The creamy scallop roll in particular was absolutely delicious. Afterwards, we got our bentos as I was impressed with the portion size and variety of the bento. It's a solid deal for $20. The teriyaki sauce was fantastic on tender chicken, the salmon was cooked to perfection, the nigiri slices were perfect and fresh on the right amount of rice, and the fried gyoza and shrimp tempura was crispy and tasty. We saw our waitress deliver a take out order to someone outside and she saw our fur babies and gave them a little wave. When I thanked our waitress for saying hi to our dogs, she told us that they were very well behaved and cute which warmed our hearts. We look forward to coming back!

I was told (among other dissatisfied responses) that they spoke with the server. Not once did they ask where we were seated, so how could you know where we were seated, to know whom exactly of your staff to have that talk with? We ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, Spicy Negi Ramen (level 4 hot), an order of Gyoza, and an appetizer order of Karaage Chicken. Both of our Ramen bowls were absolutely delicious!! I'm used to eating very authentic Ramen when I lived in San Diego so this was a first for being in this area. It was a great portion size, beautiful presentation and everything tasted so good. I think the egg could've been cooked a little bit less so it would be not so well done so to speak, but it was delicious still. Also, the chicken appetizer was a good, but not as flavorful as some Karaage Chicken I have had. I probably wouldn't order that one again even though it was good, just lacked flavor and was a bit grisly. The service was outstanding. They are very kind and very attentive. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are nicely stocked and very clean as well. The lobby is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?

For the sushi, the tropical roll had a nice addition of mango, but the sweet chili sauce was a little too sweet for my preference, especially for a sushi roll. The Pacific Garden roll had fresh-tasting yellowtail, salmon, and tuna, and I enjoyed the crunch from the asparagus. However, one of my pet peeves is when menus list crab or crab salad in a roll, but it ends up being imitation crab/krab. I really wish restaurants were more straightforward about what they're using, especially because I enjoy real crab, but am not a big fan of imitation crab in sushi rolls. This restaurant used the words crab salad and I thought it meant that they still used real crab in it. The rainbow roll and edamame were just alright. The gyoza was also disappointing because it wasn't crispy and didn't have much flavor. Presentation was another thing that fell a little short for me. I wasn't impressed with the plating, especially with the random pieces of greens on the plate. Overall, the sushi and sashimi had some fresh components(the highlight), but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. Service was just okay and nothing particularly stood out.

Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish.
