The most upsetting part was the birthday celebration. We were there specifically to celebrate a birthday, yet our table did not receive the birthday celebration. I asked our cook about it and was told we were only going to receive someone singing "Happy Birthday." Meanwhile, the party behind us received their birthday celebration. As we were leaving, another party received a birthday celebration. I spoke with the manager and explained what had happened. She admitted that we should have received the celebration but said there was nothing she could do about it. This was supposed to be a special family birthday dinner. Instead, members of our party received their food extremely late, part of an entrée was forgotten, and the birthday celebration we expected never happened. After all of the problems we experienced with our food and the missed birthday celebration, we were then presented with a check that was not accurate. We had to take additional time to review the bill and address the errors before we could leave. This was extremely frustrating because we had already experienced multiple problems throughout the meal, and the billing issue added another unnecessary problem to an already disappointing birthday dinner. Mistakes can happen in a restaurant, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable.
