Four years later, Teriyaki Grill here in Draper remains my wife's go-to venue for her monthly teriyaki chicken fix. I last reviewed them in 2022 and thought I'd get another quick write-up with her latest feedback. She still loves this place and gets her regular teriyaki chicken bowl with extra chicken, easy on the rice, and no cabbage when I'm out picking up my fave takeout meal. This venue is always clean, quick with the order, the staff always pleasant...and they make a delicious chicken bowl for her, which she eats 1/2 of, and then saves the rest for leftovers. Portion size is always generous, and the one tub of their teriyaki sauce is sufficient (yet she still adds more sauce when she gets home). She said someday when she gets celebratory, she'll maybe even try the teriyaki shrimp bowl! Four Stars for consistent quality and great taste. read more

I walked in at 5:30, and there wasn't a single customer there. There were, however, 4 employees standing behind the counter. Music was playing, vibes were pretty chill. A few to-go orders wandered in and out as I was there. The food was VERY fast. The moment my card went through, they were handing me my food. The food was good. It's fast casual food, so I'm not expecting gourmet. For what it is, I'd give it 7 out of 10. Overall my chicken, a Diet Coke, tax and 15% tip was $20... a bit high of a price for what I received. I really like this restaurant. I'm happy with my food every time I come. I usually get the teriyaki chicken and rice. But this time I got half rice and half noodles just to give them a try. I was pretty dang surprised at how much this hit the spot. We originally tried to eat at the new place a couple doors down but the line was massive. We wandered into Teriyaki Grill and were able to order after a minute or two, and our food only took around 5 minutes to get to us. We were in and out super fast! However, it wasn't just the convenience, but the food was pretty tasty. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and the kahlua pork. The pork came with a delicious spear of fresh grilled pineapple and slaw, and the chicken with veggies (mostly cabbage) and both with rice. I think the chicken was the better meat, but that dang pineapple was the business! I also love that you can order a small plate or a regular size. It saves you a few bucks and to be honest, the small plate was plen-teee of food for me. Just a nice, quick, unexpectedly good option for when you're in a hurry or when you want something a little different. read more

First time here and got the ginger salmon and it was amazing!! They were super fast getting it done and taste was amazing!! Loved it!

I would first off like to add that I have always gone to this Teriyaki for many many years and the food had always been delicious. As of recent years the food quality has only gotten worse and worse. Not only did they change the noodles but the meat today was the worst I've had. Not only did I experience a lady lather salt over the meat rather than having it marinated, she was using her BARE HANDS to smother and hold the steak. Everyone was on their phones (one of them was on FaceTime while working and the whole restaurant could hear their conversation) and then going back to doing kitchen duties. Not only that but they were doing closing duties like cleaning the bathrooms around 7 while there were customers in the stores. It is disappointing that a restaurant that I have loved going to ever since I was a child with my family has only gotten worse. The food was not horrible but I did catch 2 pieces of the steak in my bowl to have that expired meat taste that I had to spit it out. I want to come here again but please do better. read more

The food tasted good, but I got literally the worst food poisoning after eating here and couldn't keep any of it down.

Teriyaki Grill is an incredible fast casual restaurant. It's like Rumbi Island Grill but a million times better. First thing to know is if there's a line don't worry they're incredibly fast. Second,the food is healthy and delicious. For your first time I recommend the steak and chicken. If you like things a little hot be sure to add the mild sauce for free. Otherwise it just comes with teriyaki sauce. That extra kick makes it fantastic. read more

We wanted to try teriyaki grill for a while and finally got our chance. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a simple meal. Pick your protein and your heat level and they add it to a bowl of rice and steamed veggies. The veggies were great! The bowl definitely needs some level of heat. If not it is fairly boring. I really liked it but had some concerns about the quality of the protein chosen. My bride had the chicken which was tasty. I did the steak and shrimp. The shrimp was good and the steak was a major disappointment. The steak was about what I expected for a place like this. They cook their protein ahead of time so the veggies felt fresh but the proteins felt old. I have been to similar places but they cook the proteins to order. I would have given them a five star but they lose a star for the poor steak they offered me. Sidenote: we also got a four piece California roll. Very meh. Not great. read more

I've worked in Draper for three of the last five years, so I've gotten Teriyaki Grill for lunch a few times in that period. And it's one of my boss's favorite places to eat. I like to get the little size teriyaki chicken plate. Extra vegetables are a nice way to kick up the health factor. Extra sauce on the side is also a safe request if you like things saucy. What I like most about Teriyaki Grill is how fast they are, and how I don't feel like crap after eating here. It's affordable and convenient. I love teriyaki grill the chicken dinners are great but unfortunately the miso soup was bad. It tasted like soap water and it wasn't hot. I hope it's better next time. Teriyaki bowls!!! Ok so I've been wanting to come here for a few months. Every time I go to the breakfast joint with my coworker for lunch. But she never says yes. Grrr! So Friday I went by myself. So I'm big on hole in the wall places. So its hidden in this shopping center. Nothing to look at on the outside. And well inside is very plain but not a dump by any means. It was clean. You walk in and walk to the right to look at the menus and order. There is the basic soda machine next to the counter. And a bunch of tables. I walked up to nothing but smiles! The cook were smiling as one of them was cooking like 20 chicken breasts and the counter girl was smiling as she greeted me. The menu had more on it than expected. And they even had a few sushi rolls. So I was just going to get the chicken bowl but then I saw the steak and chicken bowl.. You get meat, steamed veggies and your choice of white or brown rice or noodles. So I'm trying to be healthier so brown rice and lets get to go because the glorious smell of meat cooking on the grill is making my mouth water like Homer Simpson looking at a doughnut. So that came out to a little over $9. Omg so good! The char from the grill on the steak and chicken cut into strips with the veggies cooked so well that they still have a crispness to them on top of brown rice. Yeah I poured the teriyaki sauce on it and ate it all! Now I tried to eat slow but Aparently my chop sticks skills got better because I scarfed it all down super fast even the rice. I'm never disappointed when I go here. I would go multiple times a week if my wife didn't get mad at me. My go-to is always irregular mild spicy chicken with brown rice, and I turn it into a super bowl which adds two poached eggs, avocado, pineapple, and edamame. Drizzle the teriyaki sauce and oh boy! The salmon is good here too. I get that sometimes, or I'll switch out the chicken and get shrimp. I feel good about myself when I eat healthy like this. I'm not sacrificing flavor though. They used to do punch cards and I would fill those things up so quick. They switched to an app like Best bites or something, and it never works for me. Me and my friends were passing by on our way back from skiing Alta, and we saw Teriyaki grill on the side of the road...Before you freak out wondering why I wasn't Yelping to make this decision, I left my friend with the decision. Let me just say this, I was thoroughly impressed with Teriyaki Grill. By no means in the restaurant high end, but that is not what it intends to be. They are there to get you good food, for a good price, and get it to you quickly. That is what I liked. You can ask them to spice it your liking and the chicken ends up having a great flavor with the spicy sauce and the teriyaki sauce. Service was fast and friendly. I like the option to get the noodles instead of rice without an upcharge. I ordered regular size the Shrimp Teryiaki. There is a 2 oz difference in the meat per the smaller size. Love Teriyaki Grill! Great place to go for a healthy, fast, yummy lunch or dinner. You can get a regular portion or they also have a "little" one which is a bit smaller. The spicy chicken is the bomb. You can get it mild, medium, hot or death cryer. I like the hot. It comes with chicken, brown or white rice (or noodles) and fresh stir fried veggies. They also add in a little cup of teriyaki sauce. The girls at the counter are always friendly and they also have a great rewards program (punch card). Prices are reasonable. Our whole family enjoyed the food. When we came in there was a line to order. It moved very quickly and we had our food within a few seconds of ordering. My kids loved the steak and noodles. I got the steak and chicken little plate and it was plenty. The sauce was great and the meat cooked perfectly. I asked for med heat and feel that i could have handled the hot. I was hesitant to try something new, and boy I'm glad I did! I ordered the chicken teriyaki and was pleasantly surprised. I do have to note - I'm a big 'ol wimp - I ordered the mild and it was spicier then I was anticipating! Beware! Even though it had a kick the flavor was really good. The meat was great and cooked very well, the noodles were delicious. It might seem a bit expensive for a "fast food" restaurant, I think that it is well worth it. This place is my FAVORITE place to go for lunch. It has good atmosphere, and such good quality food. And! It's pretty cheap. It's the indecisive person's heaven. Want chicken but also beef? Cool.
