It was nice having Asian cuisine in the heart of southern West Virginia. We looked around yelp to see what's appealing for lunch. My friend gave some suggestions and we ultimately ended up here at Wasabi Fusion. We arrived here around 12:30pm after hanging out at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine earlier that day. The restaurant was particular dim lighted and only the daylight from the outside illuminated the inside. There were a few tables occupied while we waited for a table. We ended up getting one almost immediately. Our time spent here was about an hour or so. We got ice water first before deciding on what to eat for lunch. The menu was pretty simple and extensive at the same time. I ended up getting the fried rice because it was simple yet delicious at the same time. Plus, ultimately, they gave enough to satisfy my hunger and appetite. We spent about an hour here from start to finish, enjoying some downtime between being on the road and the evening ahead of us. The staff here was friendly and fast. They gave us ice water first before allowing us to decide what we wanted for lunch. It was a typical thing. The fried rice I had was good and delicious. I also had a side of French fries, which ended up being crispy and awesome. Better than McDonald's and other leading fast food chains. I enjoyed dining in here especially due to the ambiance and atmosphere here. Very quiet and pleasant to just be in here.
