Located in the former Kimono Kim space across from the cinema, I recommended we try it out rather than go across the highway to Yummi Japan as we had planned. They remodeled the interior, it is a lot brighter and more open than previously, not sure that is an improvement: the old space was a bit of a dark warren, but it had a cocktail bar vibe that I personally liked. Big pro - more vegan options than Yummi Japan, and we had a vegan with us! In addition to edamame, he had three or four rolls, including cucumber avocado, pickled radish, and sweet potato, which he said was the best. He had it without eel sauce because we could not understand the server and whether or not there was actually eel in it. Also, the server did not understand we wanted to order it and so delayed the whole process quite a bit. Big con -- everything, and I mean everything, had too much sugar added. Miso, sweet, dipping sauce, sweet, curry sweet! Salad dressing, too sweet! The folks who ordered other rolls were happy, the spicy tuna was the "most sushi like" while the Colonel ordered some "weird" rolls (one with mango and one with filet mignon) on purpose. He said he would order them all again. As mentioned, the curry was sweet, but I liked it. I think the fried rice was better than Yummi Japan, but Sproßling said "chicken was rubbery." The edamame was no better than I can do with frozen at home using the microwave. Total was $97.00 before tip, and that is not bad for sushi for four people. Would I go back? If I have a vegan or vegetarian in the group, yes. Otherwise I'll probably stick to Yummi Japan.

Great Mother's Day dinner and a 15% off special. Food was good and so was the service. Beautiful new interior inside. Not a true hibachi because we sat in a booth but still very good.

The food is really good, also nice cocktail i ever had,,it's recommended,,

This please recommend ,good and clean place,,with excellent service,,i love the sushi,,with a lot option,,

The food is the best ramen noodle around here. I will definitely be back to get the food when I go to Beckley. The staff is well organized and have wonderful customer service. The place is clean and well maintained. Kids are welcome to come here and you will not be disappointed when you come to this restaurant to eat the best Asian Food around. this is definitely a 10 star place to eat and relax. I will be back soon.

They stacked my roll over hot rice so now I have disgusting hot tuna.

Updated atmosphere that is very clean, good food, and good service. Prices are a little high and Wasabi is better so I can't give it 5 stars

Beckley surprised us once again, this spot turned out to be such a delicious treasure that we kept coming back like well-trained food pilgrims. The food was fantastic. Truly. Some of the best chicken shawarma, hummus, and tabouli I've had in ages, fresh, flavorful, and made with clear love. The kind of meal that makes your tired hiking muscles perk up and whisper, "Oh yes, this is the good life." Service was friendly, warm, and helpful with recommendations, the kind of staff who genuinely wants you to enjoy what you order. Honestly, I found myself wishing we had a place like this back home so I could grab big platters for a party and impress everyone without lifting a finger. A traveler can dream. A great little spot, comforting and delicious, exactly what you hope to find when you're hungry, tired, and ready to be fed well.

Usually kebabs are tough and overcooked. Not here, this is the best kebabs I've ever had. For dessert: Tiramisu! Light and delicious with balance of espresso and chocolate. Waitress was friendly with timely service, often checking up on us . Highly recommend this restaurant- a culinary masterpiece!!

If you ever find yourself drifting through Beckley and your stomach starts whispering sweet…read morenothings... make a hard left into Cheddars Gastro Pub. This place is a bit of a delightful plot twist. From the outside, you might expect the usual--but step inside and suddenly you're in a cozy little universe where the cocktails are dangerously good (and somehow still kind to your wallet), the bar feels like home base, and the food? Way more scratch-made magic than you'd ever guess. And let's talk about Amy. If hospitality were an Olympic sport, she'd have a gold medal and a signature cocktail named after her. Attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it--just pure, effortless excellence. Whether you're a road warrior passing through or a local in need of a reliable good time, Cheddars delivers that rare combo: great vibe, great food, zero regrets. Go hungry. Leave happy. What a really bad experience. Don't go to this place at all. So, so very bad! The owners need to see how these 4-6 guys operate when they are not around. If my business, all fired. Hire good people and pay them a few bucks more so they will care. Ppl go back to places when treated right. 0 stars.
