I am judging this for a fast food place not an authentic Asian place. My husband picked up teriyaki steak bowl with noodles and teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice. I thought the meats were seasoned well and we got a decent portion. I especially liked the noodles and rice that came with it to. I think the food is as good as mall Asian food so I don't mind it. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it but we were fed and had no issues with our order.

The food quality here is pretty good for a fast casual joint. I preferred the chicken teriyaki over the orange chicken and preferred the fried rice over the noodles. Both are definitely worth the upgrade over the standard white rice. The veggies were pretty good - it was a nice combo of crunchy cabbage, zucchini, and broccoli. For the fellas I highly recommend getting the large size. The medium was enough for my wife but I am not sure her medium bowl would have sated my appetite. The workers are efficient and cranked out our order pretty quick. I can see what the madness is all about!

Found myself here today after a stint at the YMCA pool, and ordered their new "mad spicy chicken." I have to bump up to 4 stars: it was fantastic! Had the nice brown crust I was looking for, was legit spicy, and had a great flavor. Extra shout to the kind employee who was able to bring the food out to my car even though curbside service is no longer offered--I really appreciated it! Will come back for the mad spicy.

Yakisoba style bowl down overcooked noodles

Everything was great except for the noodles. Noodles were an overcooked mess that ruined the rest of the food for me. I called them, then drove back to the restaurant to get either the noodles redone or change it to friend rice. After the conversation with the phone, I went to the store and was told by an employee that the noodles were cooked well. This employee had no proof whatsoever I showed them the noodles and he just looked at them and told me I was wrong and that he could not help me.

I downloaded the app prior to opening day, anticipating a $5 deal. On the opening day, I tried to order from the app and it was so busy that I was going to have to wait about 75 minutes before my food was going to be ready. Instead, I decided I'd try the next day for an early lunch. I placed the order at 10:00am on the app and picked up my food at 11:30. It was ready to go when I arrived. I don't anticipate such a delay like this in the future unless they offer another $5 deal. The food itself...the chicken is grilled with a good amount of teriyaki flavor. The noodles ($1 extra) were too dry. The veggies (mostly broccoli & cabbage) was cooked right but lacked any flavor. Not a bad deal for $5. After the first two days, the same bowl goes for almost $9, which I think isn't a great value. In the end, I have the same opinion about TMad as I do Panda Express. It's decent and I can feed my family of four with it, but it's only worth going if there's a good special on hand.

This spot just opened up on Concord Pike about 10 minutes from my apt in Delaware. Being so close to home, and in an area where there isn't much Asian competition, I came in with high expectations. There was no wait so ordering was a breeze. 5/5 The menu was straight forward, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. 5/5 The food was ready rather quickly (approximately 7 minutes). 5/5 However, the food was flavorful but the chicken was overcooked. 1.5/5 WHY?! My guess is that new employees were training but where is the final Gordon Ramsey check before the dishes go out to the customer? I was one of the first in for the "lunch rush" and I was highly disappointed. The Orange Chicken Bowl would have had a great flavor but most of the pieces (as exhibited in my first pic) were overcooked. This not only provided pieces that were extra chewy, but the pungent orange taste was now bitter. Needless to say it was a horrible first impression and I'll try this place again in about 2 weeks at a different time to see if they have their act together. In reality this place should have received a 4/5 but not when I consider it the worst tasting Orange Chicken I've ever had!

Back again with another mistake , instead of owning up to the mistake and offering to fix the issue the lady up front , that is not the manager claimed to be . Told me to go ahead and write the bad review instead of fixing an issue that she clearly did not fix . I come in as a regular customer and get the same stuff every single time . White rice and broccoli. Terrible customer service. Requesting a refund .

I was enjoying my orange chicken bowl the other night when I felt a strange crunch as I bit into a piece of chicken. When I checked to see what it was, I found chicken bone and blood underneath the breading. Needless to say I will not be back.

We ordered some ramen and donburi bowls, along with gyoza and Korean fried chicken (half spicy garlic, half original plain). It was a lot of food! My family all really enjoyed their dishes, and I thought the gyu ramen was a standout and had a nice flavor. The noodles are well-cooked: firm and al dente. I would order from here again and would like to try the tonkotsu or tan tan ramen which are my usual go-tos. 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 stars for being open on July 4th!

It felt awkward to flag down staff multiple times as we had to ask for several items we'd ordered that weren't delivered. One of our party's cocktails never arrived, and we had to ask to have it removed from bill. Other cocktails arrived after entrees. Not ideal. Appetizers came out quickly. Edamame was soggy. Spring rolls were tasty. Green curry was great. Sushi rolls were excellent. This restaurant seems to cater to door dash and takeout more so than dine-in. There were no fewer than 6 people standing in the lobby of this small restaurant, waiting for delivery orders or takeout, at any given time while we were there. It creates an awkward vibe because the takeout folks are essentially standing in the middle of the restaurant. Jasmine might consider creating a seating area for people awaiting those orders so the actual dine-in customers have a more enjoyable environment. We will likely stick to takeout from this restaurant, going forward.

An Asian-modern feel, kinda happening, makes you feel part of "the scene" and not just any restaurant. I got the same thing I always get whenever I'm eating Japanese: seaweed salad and some sushi. Everything was fine. I give it a four-out-of-five only because, well, I'm in my 60s, I've eaten a lot of sushi, and when it comes to Mikimotos ... the nigiri, not the biggest pieces I've ever had, which is a shame because it was quite good. The seaweed salad could have been drained a little better, a bit on the briney side, but eat up! Seaweed salad is a superfood. Beautiful selection of sakis. I picked something light and cold, on the sweeter side, of which I did consume a lot. I had a fine time at Mikimotos. Price point? Ummm ... not cheap, but nothing ever is these days. I can't think of any reason not to recommend Mikimotos. (But perhaps a word of caution. Wilmington can feel a little sketchy to the out-of-towner, and there is a public park two blocks away that I found a bit harrowing to walk through. The inhabitants of said park were eager to engage, so steer clear and keep your wits about you.)
