    Chicken Teriyaki

Inside is always busy with people eating and ordering for takeout. The tables rarely are cleaned so beware of a sticky surface. Other than that, the service is fast and the chicken teriyaki with white rice / fried rice is delicious. I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Definitely not Sarku Japan or PP Boy Teriyaki, but if you're in a pinch and want to grab something cheap then come here. On my usual journey of returning things I dropped in to grab a bite to eat. I ordered chicken teriyaki with fried rice and no veggie. I also asked for extra teriyaki sauce. Upon receiving my meal and getting ready to dig in I noticed that the teriyaki sauce was very scarce. It was also watery and didn't stick to the chicken. It should've been left on the grill longer. I wasn't fond of the color. Although the chicken was nothing to rave about the fried rice was pretty tasty.

I felt for the price the protein serving was light compared to the container size and amount of rice. The store was clean and had a few tables. Food was ready within a few minutes.

Nice that there is some place to dine in Queens Place. You can find it on the ground floor across from Red Lobster. Had the salmon poke bowl and family had the chicken teriyaki which were good. Decent size portions.

This place is a welcome treat at Queens Place since food choices are limited. I had the Chicken & noodles combo, no veggies .. although can't says it's really "veggies" it's boiled cabbage , maybe some carrots not the best, I always get with out veggies. The Teriyaki chicken is decent, nice taste goes well with the noodles but it's best with the white rice. Combo meat good as well. This is simple good food , nothing over the top , cheap in price .. they don't give you a lot of that chicken no surprise here but it can be enough for one u can always double up on the meat for an additional cost. Small location, not much inside they do not offer inside seating seems like for now at least it is just a grab & Go on the food.

For a lazy Friday meal, Teriyaki One will suffice! The lady at the cashier charged me $1 for only veggies and no rice! This is the 3rd time I have ordered the chicken teriyaki this way and twice I was not charged so 3 times the charm does not apply here! I guess cabbage is more expensive than rice. Took it to go, but there are small metal laminate tables for sit down but ventilation is bad and your clothes will smell like stir fry if you stay! The chicken is good, teriyaki sauce is watery and not thick unlike gravy but like again it is quick mall food. Okay in a pinch. Food does come out fast and hot and you are getting chicken, beef, or salmon and not some mystery meat! When I was leaving, I saw a sign that says $1.59 for extra chicken! Shucks!!! Had I known I should have paid 59 cents more and just keep the regular portion of veggies sans rice and load up on the chicken!!!

Solid food spot at Queens Place Mall! Now they have indoor seating. I got the teriyaki chicken special with fried rice and the shrimp tempura roll. They have reasonable prices and the food is prepared quickly. They even give you a punch card for when buy 6 chicken teriyakis, you get one free, which I've never seen anywhere else before for an entree. The chicken was tasty with a nice char, and the sushi was standard.

Fast, friendly, big portion and affordable. Sweet and flavorful but needs a bit more salt. Could've been a bit more sweet too. Fried noodles were so good. Must get them.

I was just doing my usual target run and this place was with a line out the door. I joined in and waited patiently. The place is at a perfect location. Get your teriyaki chicken craving if you're too lazy to walk a little further to QCM. The food tasted delicious but I think it could use some more thicccccc sauce because a wet thigh makes a person just want to eat it up... Right? No one likes dry chicken thighs, at least I don't. As far as ordering goes there is a wait when receiving it. So expect to wait for your order.

It's a family owned business. We ordered an appetizer, a few special rolls, and a miso cod fish entree. The Shichimi salmon was maybe the best part of the meal. I think I got the Mango Hawaii, Ocean roll, and something else. The rolls tasted pretty similar. I saw it recommended but it's basically salmon with some sweet chili sauce on top. We didn't expect that.. it's an odd combo. Tasted cheap.. I forced L to try a lil bite of the miso cod and he said it tasted a lil old. Its ok.. I've def had better even. I mean I don't expect Nobu/other exp restaurant quality fish ... it is what is.. it was one of our cheaper meals we've had at a restaurant but we felt it was a lil overpriced compared to the quality we're used to. There was a family eating dinner at a table near us and they seemed to enjoy their food.. Maybe I should've just ordered regular rolls since it's more of a local spot.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

The strawberry part was more like a jam, so it was a little sweet for me, but overall a decent drink. I would have preferred crushed strawberries, though. Later, I came back for dinner at the tail end of the day. I was leaning towards the beef curry bowl because I like bolder flavors, but the karaage chicken is a hit here, so I ordered that in bowl form. First off, all the contents were very fresh! The chicken pieces were crisp and tasty. The burdock on the side had a smoky umami that was quite nice - it was the best of the 3 sides - and the spicy mayo was on point. Still, I think I would have gone with the curry given my taste buds, but overall the karaage bowl is a solid choice. Lastly, while the container looks small in circumference, it is taller than other takeout containers, so the portions are really about the same as any other restaurant. The nori fries were subtle in flavor but the nori still made its presence known. All in all it was a great experience. The owners are very nice, also. I will go back for the curry and yakiniku, too.
