Yummy, juicy, tasty, flavorful like always! The mall was 30min away from being closed so I was right on time when ordering. No one on the line and my food was over by the time I had gotten my snapple and cup with ice/lid.

Ordered two chicken teriyakis and a spring roll for delivery the chicken teriyaki is very good as well as the vegetables cooked just right and the spring roll came with this delicious sauce as well as extra teriyaki sauce to put in the cute containers the only downside is my first bite of the chicken teriyaki had a bone in it, but it's okay taste good still

The quality of the food is not the same as the 90s. The chicken is dry, hard to chew, and sometimes burnt. Good food container though. I'll be keeping that and adding it to my collection.

the line moves super quick. you can also order off the app if you don't wanna wait. you can come here to satisfy your teriyaki craving! the food tastes pretty ok and it's inside the queens mall food court. definitely chaotic if you come in the weekends!

Sarku Japan has been around for many moons cooking and serving delicious chicken teriyaki for over 31 years. Their mission was to whip up delicious meals in a few minutes which allowed patrons to order, eat, be merry, and return back to work from the lunch break in a timely manner. When the founders opened up the first Sarku Japan they wanted to make sure all meals were cooked to order. Surprisingly there's no MSG which allows the flavors to really come through on your taste buds. There are over 250 Sarku Japan restaurants in over 34 states, Puerto Rico and South America. They are the largest and most successful Japanese Quick Service Restaurant in America. My favorite thing to order is the chicken teriyaki, double meat, no veggie, with either white rice or fried rice. I always ask for extra teriyaki sauce. I add duck sauce and Sriracha right over the top.

An honest review, I'm giving this a 4 piece. Back in 2008, when there was no other Japanese restaurant nearby this one, this would be a 5 but competition is stepping up now and with the exception of a few additions, the place is overall good, not great. I had the Bento box which is a new addition to the place but I've had better. This place has always been a good starting point for Japanese food which is why I've enjoyed it a lot before but after having a more thorough experience at other restaurants, it just doesn't compare.

I recommend getting the yakitori platter as it's a nice sampler but my husband especially enjoyed the chicken gizzard. My dad never had wagyu before so he especially loved the wagyu but I do think it's expensive for the amount they give you, I can see why it's pricier but just know before you order it's like $45 for 2.5 oz or in our case about 5 thin slices of wagyu. My brother said the tornado omelette was tasty and filling and he enjoyed it. The trio tuna sushi roll was very fresh. As for the service, I think everyone was pleasant but the vibes were a little off, it seems like they were just very exhausted. This doesn't affect the quality of the food or the experience but it was just something I noticed. They were still very attentive and provided great service. The reason for the one star off is because I do wish the Hako sushi had a bit more flavor, I saw so many different ingredients and fish but none of the flavors were impactful, it was rather one dimensional which was disappointing because it was presented so beautifully. Overall, I recommend giving Izakaya nana a try and I would definitely go again to try other things.

There was no wait for a table and - finally my luck turned around with no wait to be serviced and no negative body language projected against me as a single lady dinning alone! I was finally seen, heard, and acknowledged as I am one life in the smallest measurement. Customer service is, indeed, as described by Yelpers to be attentive, efficient with order fulfillment and polite with reverence by good measures. I did receive a printed sales receipt to retain. I did leave a 20% gratuity for this male server who did served me well. Restroom facilities are relatively clean with a contemporary modern sink. There are Sakura cherry blossom branches that fills the ceiling for decorum. There are QR scan code laminated to the table at the corner to order. I am old school and highly prefer printed paper menus interacting with a human with a waiter for ordering. Disposable bamboo chopsticks and Renge 蓮華 or Chirirenge 散蓮華 in Japanese and Tangchi 湯匙 or Tiaogeng 調羹 in Chinese for spoons are distributed as utensils. This casual Japanese pub is located in Forest Hills' main shopping district on Austin Street. It is very accessible via E, F, R and M trains at MTA NYC Transit Forest Hills -72nd Continental Avenue subway station. I do not see any business cards nor takeout menu for grabs. Four stars? The menu was average and did not really entice my interest. I was hoping to see Matcha ice cream. Tonkotsu soup Ramen noodles, $17.99 豬骨拉麵 Served with kikurage, menma, half brown soft boiled egg, scallions, pork Chashu, and fishcake. Pork chashu チャーシュー, a Japanese dish of braised fatty pork belly. It was served in a standard Melamine ramen bowl, but not piping hot with steam visibly emitted as I desired. This Ramen noodle entrée includes one side salad with ginger dressing. The salad was average. The ginger dressing was also average served separately, but rather insufficient in quantity. Oh! I wanted slightly more salad dressing, but not the entire restaurant's stock like SNL's "Lisa From Temecula." The noodles are the main protagonist in this entrée as I wholesomely enjoyed. Asian noodle soup is always comfort food during tumultuous times. All other ingredients were a delight, fresh and served middling warm, but neither hot or piping hot. The pork belly was average. The brown half soft boiled egg was okay, but I prefer white eggs. The soup base broth is Tonkotsu for pork bones and it is not spicy nor salty. The Tonkotsu soup broth was average. Wafuu Izakaya includes a side salad with this entrée which most Japanese restaurants charge the salad a separate fee and distinguishes from competitors.
