We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.

"No. We don't do samples." I said - Thank you! And I Walked away. I thought to myself, 1. what would a spoonful of pani puri water have costed the restaurant? 2. Also, how many customers are actually walking in everyday asking to taste pani puri water? She could have just been polite or kind enough to indulge me even if it was a silly thing to ask! And she could have gained a big group of customers right away!! It's so sad. The thali portion size was very good and had a good assortment of items and the perfect potion of rice, and the naan was hot, fresh and fluffy , but the item with paneer only had 3-4 cubes of paneer and was mostly sauce, I would've liked more paneer in it. The dessert was different than usual in a Thali- there was a Motichoor ladoo, which we enjoyed much more than the usual Gulab Jamun thalis usually come with! The dal tadka flavor and spice level was very good but it came with a too small portion of rice- it was about half the portion needed to enjoy the entire entree. However; the roti we ordered made the smaller portion of rice work out ok; The roti was really fresh and soft. If you're worried about not having enough rice - just add a side of roti or naan and you'll be ok! We were pretty full and did end up taking a small amount of the dal tadka home. We'd definitely come back here. They also sold some desserts to go in a case up front that looks delicious!

This food truck had good shaded outdoor seating which we really appreciated, given the Austin heat. They had an interesting menu. We decided to get their special chatpatti chaat, dahi puri, vada pav. The food came out relatively quickly. The special chatpatti chaat and the dahi puri were tasty and on point. They were packed with flavor and had the right spice level. The vada pav tasted spoilt unfortunately. It tasted old and stale. I was really looking forward to the vada pav so that was a bummer. However, for normal chaats, this was still a good spot that we discovered. I hope they take precaution and make fresh vada pav.
