Need to improve everything. The front staff (curly hair) were totally rude. She wouldn't even give my son a cup of water. Not sure what country she's from but here in the US we don't charge for tap water. What the hell is that about. The meats aren't fresh and the chicken teriyaki was dry. Food is always fantastic and in big portions, the store itself is super cute with music playing in the background, and the service is always phenomenal! The lady upfront makes a point to remember customers, and is always so kind. Come in on your third or fourth visit, she'll remember you for sure and ask you how you're doing and such. So nice!! first off I placed a to go order which was under $20 in food. I mistakenly picked my order up from a different restaurant in Sedro-Woolley. (my mistake) about an hour later I kept getting harassing calls and voicemails from the lady working there, so I blocked the number because what? why would you threaten to call the cops on someone who didn't pickup a to go order once?? I got more calls from another number with more threatening voicemail so, I called the restaurant and explained my mistake I made. They called the cops and said I was harassing them and doing this frequently. Beware, their isn't a place on earth worth this behavior. read more

This is our go to for teriyaki and affordable Chinese. The workers are super friendly, especially the lady who works the counter. She always remembers us and asks about the family. Food is fresh, tasty and affordable. Take out and done in options. read more

Delicious. The online menu needs to be updated because the prices are a bit higher. There are also more non-teriyaki options than before. We've always gotten the Family Chinese Dinner and it came out to $75 this time. But it is so. damn. tasty. read more

Wow so perhaps the first food in a long time that the first bite has made me want to vomit. second bite just as bad. After realizing how bad it was I return to the counter and just said this was horrible and as I started to walk away they asked if I wanted my money back I did not expect that they would do that but wow that's cool. The gave me my money back. My wife's meal was almost as bad but it didn't make me want to vomit. So my wife were the Mongolian beef and it didn't make me want to vomit it wasn't truly horrible but it really wasn't worth eating either very Bland and sweet. The weird thing was even the plain white rice was sweet who put sugar in white rice that's crazy. This would have been a zero star review but the one redeeming fact was they gave me my money back when I didn't even ask for it. I just wanted to get away from that food. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants both good and bad and I've written some pretty mixed reviews but this is truly the first time the food is made me want to vomit on the very first bike. read more

So, honestly the food was really good! There's a but though. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl with gyoza and they gave me a drink. I went to go fill my drink up at the machine they had. And after filling it I realized there was dirt. I didn't think much of it until I brought it back to my work. And just for giggles I poured it into a separate cup just to see what it was. These guys were my go to. They have the best beef noodle soup and was extremely consistent and yummy for years.The people are also nice make small talk. I don't know what happened but for months now there food has changed it's not bad but definitely not as good. There chicken is more dry and the sauce isn't the same and not consist. This was our first visit to this nice little establishment. Our kids eat here every once in a while and like it. We tried multiple items all of which were decent. Not exceptional, but tasty enough that we would come back. What was exceptional was the service! The lady that was running the front of the house - waitress, cashier, bussing - was SUPER FRIENDLY and efficient. Word has it that she commutes from Oak Harbor to Sedro Woolley for this job. It's no wonder the owners want to hold onto a gem of an employee like her. We tried an appetizer plate which included Gyoza, Crab Rangoon and egg rolls. The Gyoza were standard frozen and fried fare you'd find anywhere as were the Crab Rangoon. For me they were just ok. The egg rolls were pretty good though. My pork was good; tender and tasty. Two small scoops of white rice and a small salad accompanied the pork. The dressing on the salad is similar to an Asian restaurant I've eaten at in the past - it was creamy, sort of sweet and a tiny bit tangy. I enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable, running about $10 per person for a full meal. There are less expensive options available as well as vegetarian options. We will definitely return. read more

This place use to be descent. Stopped here to get food for the family for dinner. Chicken Katsu was burnt and tasted burnt and charred. Teriyaki chicken was very bland and dried out. First time ordering food from here which was on Sept 3rd .. ordered a family meal, two sweet and sour soups and apps, spent $72.00 . The chicken tasted and smelt like it was going bad, the red sweet and sour sauce is something I have never seen or tasted before and they use onion as a filler for everything. We were hoping to have leftovers for a few days but tossed it all out. Went to tell the owners on Friday but they were closed for the entire labor day weekend so I really feel they used old nasty meat. Teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and rice for $9.25. A *huge* helping of both meats, oddly enough not much rice. This wasn't gourmet food, but it sure hit the spot! Both of the ladies working there asked if I wanted more rice (they brought more even though I hadn't said much) and made sure that I was enjoying the meal while staying comfortable. It was okay. I had chicken noodle soup, and mom had beef noodle soup faith were good. It tasted fresh, wasn't too salty, but a bit sweet. Good flavor. My husband had the chicken chow mien Chinese bowl, which was pretty good with a bit of sesame flavor. It was a good deal. The yakisoba noodle that my aunt had was a bit salty but went well with rice. Beef was tender and tasty too. My dad's chicken and broccoli Chinese bowl was a little bland and I didn't care for it. In general, everything was a bit on the sweet side. Service was nice, and restaurant is very clean. Their prices seem fair but the portions for a $10 teriyaki were quite small. I got the teriyaki bowl which was a good deal and comes with a drink. Our biggest issue was the sauce. The chicken was doused in a thick teriyaki sauce, like, borderline inappropriate amount. All of my rice was soaked in the sauce too. It was like a sodium soup. Pretty disappointing food. I ordered Katsu and Chicken, it came with rice and meat for $13+ dollars at lunch. Katsu was overcooked, chicken was over sauces and neither had any sort of seasoning. The counter help was friendly though. read more

It was inedible. I paid $5 extra for fried rice and it was the squishiest rice I've ever had, including sticky and white rice. It was so so wet. The egg wasn't cooked. This place is awful the food is not fresh at all I've had the chicken teriyaki many times there's way too much sodium in it and the teriyaki sauce is like clumpy and very odd to say the least.it's pre cooked and probably 5 days old before you get it and heated in the microwave this is the worst experience I've ever had save yourself your money go elsewhere read more

But here's the kicker: I believe this was the first time in my 52 years on this planet that I have ever had chicken chow mein that was drowning in a sweet, syrupy teriyaki sauce. WHAT??? Sweet and sour chicken is my order every time! We end up getting a side of crab Rangoon because they're so delicious!! The lady that typically works the counter must be the owner because she knows what she's doing. I keep meaning to catch her name. She is so kind every time we are in.
