Stumbled on this place while working from out of town. Hubs and I dug it! Old school Chinese vibe restaurant attached to a lively bar with a dart tourney going. All connected to a 24-lane bowling alley. So fun! Dinner first: staff was prompt, food & drinks were exactly as expected (food amazing, drinks strong) then we wandered into the packed bar for some pull-tabs. Super busy for a Thursday night. Staff was super friendly and pleasant. We ordered the family dinner for 4 along with the vegetarian Orion chowyuk. The food came out fast and hot! Everything was delicious and fresh. I couldn't get over how well the broccoli was cooked in every dish, Al dente, not soggy and over cooked Almond chicken was crispy and sauced to perfection. Sweet and sour prawns were good size and the sauce was not to sweet. Chow mein w soft noodles was delightful. It was all delicious and we will be back for sure! read more

Everytime I goto evergreen lanes I must get some chicken fried rice either to eat while I am bowling, or to bring home.

The food is okay but when I called and asked if they still used Styrofoam, the woman who answered the phone said that the owner LOVES styrofoam! And when I asked if he concerned about what he is doing to the environment, her reply was that he is concerned with making money. Since the owner refuses to consider what he is doing to the planet; we will no longer be customers of the Dragon Inn. And will advise others. read more

This is one of those places that locals go and have been going for years. The food was ok but nothing was extraordinary. I went because another reviewer said it was "70s style" Chinese food which I love. Menu is certainly old school 70s which is not a bad thing. The decor is definitely dated but clean. The hostess/waitress was really friendly and nice. Weirdly no wifi or cell signal. While I was eating a lot of people came in for to go orders. I got egg foo young, orange beef and chicken chow mein. The egg foo young was bland and had an orange sauce. It wasn't bad or good. The orange beef was tangy and well cooked but had a weird aftertaste. The chicken chow mein was good. Best hot and sour soup I have ever had. I considered getting a large bowl to go...but we are traveling so I didn't. Great prices, multiple specials to chose from and comfortable environment. The chow main was perfect and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. I am making myself hungry writing this post and it is only 8am. Egg fu young for breakfast sounds good. This just happened. I just placed an order to go 30 minutes ago, and sat down waiting for my food to be ready (which they said would be done in 30 minutes so I was expecting it any second). The hostess that took my order, saw me sitting and waiting, and said "oh, what did you order again? I haven't placed your order yet". Like really??? Hubby and I found this place by accident and had dinner last night. Mongolian beef for hubby was excellent! He had to stop himself from eating all of it so he'd have some leftovers from lunch. I had the sweet and sour pork. No veggies or anything but the batter was crisp, just enough sauce and served quickly! Fried rice isn't anything to write home about but the flavor was very good. BBQ pork appetizer - the pork was tough and the sauce they serve instead of ketchup was different...not sure what that was. (We are spoiled since I make it at home with pork tenderloin and it's fabulous.) Was very decent food, served quickly and hot! I arrived a little too late for a lunch special, but the food that they had was fantastic. I paid more than I would have liked to for a late lunch, but I got my money's worth. The service was fast and friendly, the ambiance was nice and peaceful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good Chinese food. I ordered a single meal combo of Mongolian beef, almond fried chicken, egg roll and white rice. I come here all the time, even with the occasional inconsistency's, overall I generally had good experiences. Today I called and ordered general tsao chicken, spicy orange beef, and chow meringue. I noticed when I walked in to pick it up they had a big sign stating all prices on the food is going up 1 $ for lunch and appetizers and 2$ for dinner items due to the cost of supplies going up, which is understandable, wasn't mentioned to me over the phone but it is what it is. I get my food, drive the 25 minutes back home open up my food and notice the spicy orange beef is definitely not what I had ordered and gotten the last 3/4 times I ordered it this month. It doesn't look or taste like beef and the sauce just tasted of sugar sugar more sugar and some cornstarch, not good and not edible at all it was pretty gross which is disappointing because I just discovered it back may and have been ordering it every time. I called the waitress said no problem we'll make it right and mentioned there were inconsistencies in their food. Ok great greatly appreciated. Hung up tried the general tsaos, which I've ordered from them since they've opened with the current owners and only had it variate a few times, I can even deal with slight inconsistency, but this too was really really gross, super dried out, stringy chicken, that tasted bad, like it's old bad, and super watered down sauce IE no flavor really. So I called back the waitress put me on the phone w the owner as she can't really do anything, I explained to him I live 25 minutes away and have to be to work in 20 mins 5 mins from my house, and that there is no way I can come back now, I said maybe they accidentally made something else and not the orange beef? Or some one different cooked it this time (the owner doesn't do any cooking is what I was told by Waitress) he told me everyone who works there all cooks the same there is absolutely no way they cooked it differently than the last cook that made my food, and he told me if he can't see it he doesn't know if there's anything wrong with it or not, I would have been willing to bring it back in tomorrow or normally right away if I didn't have to work. I let him know I understand rising costs but that especially for to go orders it's super frustrating to get stuff inconsistent because you don't know till you get home and eat it. He denied that happens and just said nothing I can do and then hung up the phone on me, I was being very polite, I order from there a lot and spend usually no less than 50$ when I order food. I don't want anyone to kiss my bottom for it, but considering i am a repeated customer you would think they would want to rectify any issues and certainly not hang up the phone on them. I work hard for my money as do many so I will not be back as there are places more deserving of it. I also noticed they were pretty damn rude to their waitress when she let them know an order was up more than once, they looked at her said nothing and went back to their conversation never acknowledging her, something I also find pretty disgusting. read more

My first time visiting.... I'll start by saying the staff was super friendly!!! I was ordering to go, and she quickly got me a menu and was ready to take my order. Since it was my first time visiting, I viewed the menu. My order is pretty "standard" - but I was happy to find the items I was looking for. Kung Pao Chicken, and a house special fried rice. I ordered both - and was happy to find that they include a side of white or fried rice with the entree order. I took my food for a later meal - and headed home. I am SUPER impressed with the food... very tasty, and great portion size. Veggie to Chicken ratio in the Kung Pao was great.... and meat (chicken, pork, beef, shimp) to rice ratio was great in the fried rice too!! I'll be a repeat visitor to this place... maybe I'll try bowling :D read more

They serve lunch specials 7 days a week. The Mongolian. Chicken is good in taste, but nothing distinguishable. The interior is cozy and dimly lit. The soup had excess of corn starch. But not bad. The service was quick and friendly. The bathrooms are Ok. Considering the price of the food the place is certainly worth it. read more

This is the worst place to get food! No one in this place . Waited for my order which was on the table while some guy was eating. Then young man comes out brings the rest of the food that had already been sitting there for 10 minuets. The guy who took my order just kept sitting there and eating.
