It was great to see a brewery in the area. They had outdoor seating, that was great and even tents you may reserve. The first time we stopped, we were overcharged and she immediately took the charge off. We also were served out in the courtyard. However, when we went back the second time, we were told if we didn't sit on the picnic tables, we would have to come get our food. It was a little strange as the day before, it didn't matter! Not a lot of restaurant choices around here, and you don't really come to Wallowa Lake for the food but I was bit disappointed anyways. No beer taster trays at a brewery? You can get 9oz pours but not more than 1 at a time, even though 2 would be less than a pint, and you can order a pitcher? Ordered the burger medium rare as recommended, came out very well done. The server was apologetic and ordered up a new one... which was also overdone. Props to the friendly server who comped a couple beers. Great spot for kids with the creek that runs through the front yard. The beer itself is so so, about 3/5 on Untappd except the pilz. read more

I was in Enterprise for one night. Looking for a place to have dinner and a few good beers, I stumbled upon this amazing establishment. The food was excellent, potent and tasty brew. We have always loved this place but today was so disappointing. We have been waiting for our food for an hour and a half. We have two toddlers who are starving and melting down. Multiple tables ahead of us have received their food. Our waitress has not checked on us one time. There are only maybe 15 tables and three waitresses. Have always Loved TG although the food is still amazing the fact that you have no service,not bad service NO service,all they do is drop off your food and because you order from a window I guess there is no knowledge of who you are so although we were all together our food came just whenever for each order,one person was finished before we even got our food,I did ask the drop off person for another wine and was told I had to go BACK to the window,wait in line AGAIN ,not a relaxing place when you have to work and wait on yourself,I go out to be pampered a bit. read more

Long time TG fan, and have been a couple times. This time came with Mike and Abby on their first visit here. A sweet physical set up, when the weathers decent--picnic tables, trees, volleyball court--idyllic in spite of the port a potties gathered at the business across the street. Cute little house where it all started. More wonders to observe in the house but lets move on the consumables. About 10 beers on tap including 3 different IPAs and the wonderful holiday brew, Festivale. Great meaty sandwiches, with local sourcing for the beer & buffalo burgers & a couple other items. On a recent swing through Eastern Oregon, we made a point of stopping at Terminal Gravity after a great day wandering around Joseph and Wallowa Lake. The exterior seemed like a cute spot with plenty of twinkly lights and, from what I could see in the dark, a fair amount of seating. The inside though is not as quaint. There isn't a ton of seating and there isn't much to make it cozy. We were able to find a four top upstairs, but we did move because the bare bulb in the hall seating area was pretty harsh. The food seemed pretty standard. I had the Aloha Chicken sandwich and my wife had a salad and the salmon chowder. It all tasted good, but nothing that made us go "Wow". The service was solid, especially since the server had to keep climbing the stairs. Even after she was the only person still working, she checked on us a few times I had an IPA, which was great, but I forget the name. My wife tried a glass of the cinnamon stout and as the server advised, it was strong and more of a dessert type beverage and not necessarily great with food. TG is a spot we'd go to again, especially on a nice sunny day when we'd find a spot outside and soak up the sun and suds! read more

Brew is fantastic, but would have been tops if it were colder... The place is gorgeous with the outdoor setting being romantic, private and simple. They even let us bring the dog to the outdoor table. A small babbling creek runs through the property. Beautiful. The food was good, but for the price it was sort of a letdown. In the end, I think the main reason people come here is for the atmosphere and the beer. Both were great. So I think it warrants a 4 star rating. If you are stopping for great food, at a great price and ice-cold-yet average-beer, this is not a good place to stop. read more

Had dinner here on the way to backpacking trip in Wallowa/Eagle Cap Wilderness area. A really pleasant surprise -- far exceeding my modest expectations. I was prepared to settle for "sports bar" fare, but even driving into the parking lot, I could tell this was going to be better. There were lots of families, couples, and friends eating on the numerous picnic tables on the sprawling lawn out the front door. Because it was nearing sundown, we opted to eat inside, at the bar. I had a salmon burger, and my buddy a veggie rueben with shredded beets. Both portions were fresh, generous, and tasty. Service is friendly and knowledgeable; prices are very reasonable. Locals are fans of the microbrew aspect. This is a little gastro pub with bigger ambitions, and a laid back, neighborly vibe. read more

He ordered it medium well and it still had substantial pink n the middle. Service was fast and friendly. My biggest reason for the low score was the warm beer. Just expected more from the brewery. They quoted us 35-40 minutes to get a table, and it was actually an hour but I did not deduct any stars for that. But then it took over an hour after we got seated to get the first of our entrees (so over two hours from arrival until the first food came out.) The runner brought some more of our entrees and the silverware about 10 minutes after that (so the original food was completely cold before we got forks) and one order was given to the wrong table and had to be completely recooked so that was another 10 minutes. The food and silverware was all delivered by the food runner, not our server, because he was to busy dancing to the band. (No, I am not joking, our food orders were being brought out slowly, given to the wrong tables, we had food with no forks, and the server was literally dancing and paying no attention.) The only reason I gave it two stars is because most of the food was not too bad when we finally got it, with two exceptions. Mac and cheese is always going to be bad cold, and definitely requires silverware, so you can't possibly expect that to be edible if it's brought out 10+ minutes before the fork. Also the potato salad is inedible. Five of us tried it and not one person liked it, and I love German potato salad. Finally, the band was easily one of the worst I have ever heard. They were dressed as banana, a strawberry and a pineapple. I'm still not completely convinced they weren't intending to be a comedy act, though. So, yeah, the food was all cold and missing because the server was dancing along with a singing banana. You can't make this stuff up. read more

The beers came quickly along with waters and as more of our party arrived the waitress quickly got their orders as well. After getting their drinks, she took our food order. The burgers arrived quickly and were all good perfectly to a medium rare. Bacon was perfectly crisp and onions grilled to perfection. Side salad greens were fresh, and the balsamic was tasty and not overpowering. The setting was perfect, the service attentive, the beer cold and refreshing, and the burgers mouth-watering. This has a very nice outdoor seating area. Spacious and pleasant. I did have to wait about 45 min for a table, but it was a Friday afternoon and does not affect my review. The beer list was short and half the list was IPA or ale. The waitress was busy with a table that wouldn't stop talking and let her work. Although, I was passed by twice with acknowledgment and all I wanted was one beer. After 12 minutes waiting I decided to try elsewhere. I ended up at Embers Brewing in Joseph, was seated instantly and received my beer immediately. I recommend expanding the beer list by a few and diversify instead of having half the choices IPAs. Have waitstaff acknowledge new guests even if busy so they are less likely to leave. I liked Embers better and My table was replaced with a 4top so it worked out for all. read more

Came camping with my Dad out at Wallowa Lake. Of course, it's been pouring rain since we set up our tent. Thankfully, Terminal Gravity is just 15 minutes away. We've been here both nights of our stay so far. The Tap Out Ale is excellent. Great live music on a Friday night. Service is friendly and fast. Limited indoor seating, but if you're experiencing better weather than we are, there is plenty of places to sit outside. Didn't eat, but the food that past by our booth made me wish I was. The rain is supposed to let up tomorrow; but if it doesn't, we'll be back! read more

I'm not a beer drinker so ordered the soft red which was a simple and nice red table wine. My friend and I ordered the ahi tuna, beet Rueben and steak pita. The ahi was nicely done and delicious. The beet reuben was awesome. What a terrific combo. Steak pita was a great mixture with onions and peppers. We had a great service from Jacinda. She was helpful, informative and friendly. We were treated to incredible LIVE music on Friday and Saturday night, the service was fast and excellent, and the food was wonderful. They have great options for vegetarians and pescatarians as well! Don't even get me started on the beer selection.
