Stopped by Terminal Gravity on my way home this evening from wallowa lake. I live about 2.5 hours from there. While at the place my friend and I enjoyed the Bison Burger and the Beer Mac & Cheese with bacon. The food was great and good portions. The reason for giving a four star rating is because while sitting out on the porch there was a person smoking down at the benches. I was appalled that they allowed the man to smoke not 1, but 3 cigarettes while we were there for one hour. I couldn't believe they allowed the man to smoke where we were eating. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and it made my experience not as good as it could have been. read more

Great food. Really great server but it took forever. We drove from Boise and it took 2hr to get our food and had to get it to go.

Great Brewery in Enterprise! Small bar on the ground level, more table seating upstairs. Very friendly and welcoming bartenders. Family friendly atmosphere, upstairs has a floor covered in Lincoln Logs and a TV featuring kids movies. Food here is exactly what you'd expect from a brewery, salads, burgers etc. The beer mac and cheese is awesome! The pineapple chicken teriyaki burger is also pretty good. I had been drinking TG's IPA for more than a decade before finally visiting the "mothership" in remote Enterprise, Ore. This is a gorgeous spot -- an old craftsman house repurposed as a brewpub set on a beautiful lawn with a stream in the middle for kids to play in. The beer is excellent. Unfortunately, the place has a very limited kitchen that just cannot keep up with the crush of demand on popular summer nights. While we got a table in 5 minutes or so, the wait for food was over an hour (as we had been warned). They have no deep fryer on site too so no only chips or salad with your meal. The food is quite good, however, if you can last that long! The house-made mustard and beet reuben are extremely tasty. read more

Finally made the voyage to TG. I knew what to expect from the beers after sipping on them around Portland quite a bit. You never know what to expect from the food at a pub..and this place has the good stuff. I had the kobe beef burger..which was incredible. The layout of the place is very chill..with a cool outside seating area. I have a feeling this place is gonna out grow its establishment soon. Wonderful dinner place in the area. A gastric-pub with fantastic and delicious dinner items and great beers and ciders. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was very welcoming and cheery. We arrived after dark and the place was festively lit with taverna lights in their outdoor garden even though it was a bit too cold and rainy for folks to be sitting there. Off the beaten path. Too windy and cool to sit out in the inviting patio or out front, on the lawn. We sat upstairs, where we were amazed at the excellent service from the servers who have to run up and down those stairs. Some amazing wood carving, done by the chef! Also carved fish and butterflies in the booths opposite us. The 5 beers we tasted were all very well balanced, satisfying, and unique. We love the ESG, the porter, and the Tapped Out! Food was also good. We had the salmon sandwich, since the Reuben fixings were gone, and it was tasty, but slightly overcooked. The TG salad with bacon and blue cheese was yummy! Next time, I'd have that with one of the meats or fish added! Great service, fantastic beer, good food, very nice vibe! TG has it all. Don't miss it if you're anywhere near Enterprise! We are very happy with the recommendation to eat here that we got from the information office in Joseph. Cute little place with lots of outdoor seating under the trees and on the porch of the bungalow. Even if you aren't a beer drinker, you should come here for the delicious food. I love this place. It is awesome. I first encountered it during a trip from Moscow ID in about 1999 or 2000. I noticed this funky little handpainted sign to a brewery on the east end of enterprise. The food is good, the beer better. There is a small creek running through the tables for outdoor eating. I actually came to this place once during the rain and was suprised to realize that it has an upstairs area with couches etc. They often have live entertainment on the weekends. The only negative is that in the past they werent open on sunday. A definate drag if that is the day you are coming out of the hills. read more

Traveling, nice concept in the country. Really liked the outdoor picnic tables next to a little creek/pond. The place was very busy with one bartender. The beer list was pretty small with several lighter beers and just one dark. Also, they ran out of buffalo and meat burgers. Would try again but def need to plan for crowds. read more

This was probably our worst dining experience in years. I love beer and visit many breweries around the state (we make a point of it - visited Barley Browns at Baker City before this). So we were super excited to try TGB. We were disappointed by the beer but service was the worst part. I have not waited this long for food, and then they messed up our order, everything was under cooked, IMHO overpriced and it took 1.5 hours to get it, but only after we complained. To their credit they comped our beer (which we didn't finish) but by that time, we were late to our destination, had a terrible headache due to hunger. Our server had no clue. It was not necessarily super busy. We sat and waited 20 minutes for a menu and after finally asking for it, she brought a bunch of menus, but gave them to the table next to us, then went and took the order from another table (8 people so now we had to wait super long), and finally managed to flag her to get the menus. Then she came back 1 minute later to get our order, when we hardly had a chance to look at the menu. Fearing we will not be able to get served soon, we placed an order quickly. We arrived at 1:45pm and it was 3:30-3:45pm when we got our check. It took almost 1.5-2 hours to get our food, and we had to eat it super quick as we wasted half of our adventure time at this place and had to skip Hells' Canyon Overlook because of the server. I hate to come down on her, but she really was terrible. Adding insult to injury, the steak pita wrap was terrible and burgers were hardly cooked.Pita steak wrap had 4 chunks of under cooked and very chewy meat, two of which was not edible. They forgot to put cheese on the burger we ordered as well. And if you will bring semi-cooked burgers, please give us the option to order how we like it. This is not rocket science. We also had to go and order our beer from the stand as the server almost never showed up. I am not one to give bad reviews often, but every single person on our table was really upset and due to waiting so long for food, had very low blood sugar and also ended up being super late. There is more, but I am not going to bore you. I will never go there again. What a shame, really ruined our time in Joseph. We had amazing experiences everywhere we ate on this trip. Thanks for ruining our day. And charging $11.50 for a pretty small burger and then not even putting some cheese on it? Seriously? We had prime rib at Dayville Cafe the day before, and it was couple bucks more, and came with soup, salad, dessert and was 10 times better. read more

We arrived thirsty and hungry but were sent upstairs, literally away from the cozy bar to a slightly cramped, generic room served by an overextended waitress. The two items that we wanted from the menu were not available because they were "transitioning" from summer to winter menu ('transitioning': gotta remember that excuse next time someone asks for something). So we walked out. For a good burger and a great beer, it looks like a nifty place. We got their beer at another joint. It is in a small, remote town so I should not be so harsh, perhaps. read more

This place is a dump, but the beer is fine. The rating system oughta allow for a 4 star beer/food thing, and a 1 star setting for the ambiance. The service was McMenamins-like, but who knows if that's a consistent problem like McM's. My buddy and I played TRIVIAL PURSUIT as we finished our beers. My excuse for non-Alex Trebek-like success? There was a middle-aged guy across from me eating a salad with chopsticks. (That's just WRONG!) How could I concentrate on those TRIVIAL PURSUIT Ttrivialities?!?! If I was rating solely on beer the rating would be MUCH higher. I have been there twice now and the 1st was just a stop for a beer on a patio, which was delightful and the reason I decided to return. If you have never been to Enterprise, OR (and you probably have not) you should most definitely go! It's amazingly beautiful! But as for the dining experience I was disappointed. First, when you walk in there is only two booths and the bar... and no hostess, this caused confusion. Four of us stood there awkwardly until we realized that guests were disappearing around a corner, so we followed and found a staircase, at the top we found three rooms in an attic and plenty of tables. After once again sitting for a bit we realized that we had to go find some menus, so back down the stairs I go, then back up, then with everyone's orders memorized (ah, now I'm a waitress again! I thought I left that behind in college.) back down the stairs, while downstairs at the bar I poured water for my group made our order then headed BACK up the stairs. Good news! They actually brought the order to our table!!! BUT I had to go BACK DOWN STAIRS to get the steak...for my steak salad. And as for the cilantro garnish on my salad (part of the reason I ordered it) I just went without. There was no wine list. When asked if they had wine the bartender said no, but when I asked how the man with wine in a wine glass came apon his wine she explained, they only have Chard, Pinot Gris and Cabernet. The beer list is only on a chalk board by the bar. The bartender responded to the legitimate question of "what styles are your beers?" with another question "styles?" I feel like this place could be amazing with a little bit of work, service and staff education. Also if orders came out of the kitchen in 15 min instead of 10, maybe everything would be correct. read more

Decent food, great beer, stupid rule that relegates dogs and their people to a far corner of the outdoor seating area where the sun beats down relentlessly. Seems it might just be one employee with a real hard on for the dog rule as nobody else seemed to care when another party showed up with another dog and the dog nazi was inside. Our dog is blind and old as balls and just lies around like a lump, so it's not a behavior issue... Would be an awesome place to hang out if everybody in our party was welcome! read more
