Wow! First time in this store and I was blown away by how cute everything was! We came in on Saturday afternoon to pick up some cannolis and they did not disappoint! The ladies working were so sweet- definitely tempted to get more than we needed but everything looked good!

Classic Italian bakery with yummy treats. We loved the cannoli, although they are quite pricey. The dough is great and crispy, the filling is smooth and Lucious and tasty. We also picked up a crumb cake to bring to a holiday party. Great spot in reading terminal market to pick up some goodies.

Cute bakery with the iconic pastries in Philly. This original location was cute and out and had a nice vibe. The pastries lined up were all perfect. We tried the iconic cannoli. It was so delicious and definitely worth the hype. No place to eat inside so we went across the street to the coffee shop since they also own that. Definitely worth checking out it when in Philly.

Some of the best baked goods I've had in a long time. The Tiramisu cake was absolutely fantastic - I couldn't bring the fork to my mouth fast enough. The shop itself is also very picturesque and the service was quick! They fill the cannoli when you order it so the shell was not soggy at all!

A classic old time bakery shop! A storied Philadelphia tradition. All the baked good are displayed in cases in the center of the shop plus along thr walls. A bakery staffer follows you with a tray which is filled as you make your selections. Cool memorabilia abounds. The must have is the cannoli. Classic ricotta filling - creamy, slightly sweet, rich - is mixed with small chocolate chips. Crunchy fresh shells. Stuffed to order. With a dash of powdered sugar. One of the best I've ever had.

tl;dr load up on traditional ricotta cannolis; these desserts are what dreams must be made of Since Giuseppe and Gaetano Termini first opened up their South Philadelphia bakery in 1921, the name Termini has become synonymous with Italian pastries. Perhaps the most iconic are their cannolis, freshly baked and hand-piped. Even after nearly 100 years of history and several new locations, Termini has stood the test of time and still feels comfortably charming. A can't-miss red-and-green neon sign hangs from the flagship location on 8th St. Indoors, the large, rectangular room stretches far back. Bright lighting fixtures hang from the polished pressed tin ceilings, and non-slip mats are laid across the black-and-white floors. The whitewashed walls are decked heavily with antique ornaments, Termini family photos, Philadelphia memorabilia, and holiday-themed decorations. Customers make a U through the tastefully old-school, wood-and-glass bakery displays. The confections lineup spans from cookies and pastries to whole decorated cakes. The center island is stocked with stainless steel trays, each lined with countless empty cannoli shells. I arrived right before closing on a weekday, and Termini still had a steady trickle of customers. I ordered a Ricotta Cannoli and a Chocolate Cannoli, and the mostly disinterested staff member ran to the back and efficiently piped them to order. Both cannolis were relatively large, boasting a perfectly crispy shell and a healthy dusting of powdered sugar. The generously rich ricotta filling was as decadent as the best gelato I could imagine. I would probably opt for a chocolate dip on the shell and a heavier hand on the mixed-in chocolate chips, but neither detracted from this classic cannoli being among the best I've ever eaten. Meanwhile, the chocolate-filled variety was oddly neither ricotta nor chocolate; rather, it seemed to serve as a neutral option for the staunchly anti-ricotta camp. Between the two, the ricotta filling was an easy favorite. The cannolis run $6 each, and I was in and out of the bakery in a matter of minutes. Termini's traditional ricotta cannolis can outcompete the dessert menu at most sit-down restaurants, and these decadent pastries remain one of my favorite sweets -- well worth the hike to South Philly.

Termini Bros is the perfect way to immerse yourself in a vintage shop. There is so much memorabilia and even a vintage cash register. Their shop is so unique and clean, with huge amounts of options for a bakery. The food is impeccable, and tastes delicious. I would definitely recommend the red velvet cake and a cannoli. They also offer gift boxes with a variety of different kinds of desserts. 10/10 recommend!!!

A few additional cookies tossed in our delivery for free, made it feel like a better value since we had some leftover to enjoy with morning coffee. After we finished, they handed us a whole box of cookies just for hanging out and giving feedback. That was a solid surprise and super generous. I swing by Insomnia Cookies on random days too because sometimes you just need a warm cookie to reset your mood. They always come out soft, gooey, and fresh from the oven. The store itself is clean and kind of cool to look at. There's a whole wall covered in giant industrial-style on and off switches. I still wish I could have pulled one just to see what would happen. Staff was chill and genuinely helpful. They were patient while we tried to figure out which cookie was which during the ranking, and they kept the energy light and fun. Same when they handed out the free boxes. Whoever runs the HQ location clearly knows how to make the experience feel special.
