And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. Bob was professional, prompt, communicative, and pricing was very fair. Our issue was ~20 wasps aggressively flying around on our front porch and we were unable to find the nest. Bra-Wey came out the very next day and was incredibly punctual. Within just 5 minutes, Bob identified that the wasp nest was likely hidden beneath some boulders and sprayed the areas where the wasps were likely hiding. He was excellent with communication, explaining to me to keep my dog away from the area and that he inserted some warning yellow flags in the ground to warn about the sprayed area. He said he would come back the following week if the wasp activity persists and was even planning on sending a worker over to weed whack the area to ensure the wasps would be eliminated. He is incredibly knowledgeable--not just about mice, ants, bees (including every kind of bee), and even rats--we've unfortunately had them all living near a pond. He takes the time to explain things, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. He's also just a great person. On his last visit, he had finished up and was heading to his truck when he spotted a stunned baby bird sitting in the middle of the street. Without a second thought, he stopped to help.
