I would never even try this company considering they rang my door bell and knocked repeatedly when I have several no soliciting signs and working remotely signs. Then the gal proceeded to lie to me when I asked her - "Did you not see my signs?" She said she just wanted to let me know they were spraying our neighbors home and just wanted me to be aware in case I was curious about the trucks. The trucks that were not there because they were not spraying my neighbors home. If they disregard your ask and lie up front this company is surely not reputable. Update to my original review. Many phone calls later, Terminix still will not treat the rodent problem. We eventually called a local company that promptly came and took care of the problem. Every time we would call Terminix, we would get the, sorry we won't do any traps despite their website clearly saying they will set traps and ensure removal of pests. We also can never get ahold of anyone who can actually "do anything." I'm always promised a call from a manager and it never happens. I've asked a few times, its been weeks and no contact. One service representative scheduled a service for us, we got notifications that a service was scheduled, made plans to be home and no one showed up. We were told no technician was assigned. So, how were you able to schedule it in the first place? They just give you the run around and don't actually care about doing their job. At least on a management/corporate level. Though, we did have on rude technician and another showed up randomly without ever scheduling with us. Stay away from this company!!! read more

I requested an inspection of the attic due to the evidence of feces (look like rodents) and termites of a house I'm purchasing. I had my realtor be there for an inspector. An inspector finished an inspection without checking the attic and he said "I don't have a ladder. It'll take a few days until I get a ladder." I thought, why did they make an appointment if they knew they couldn't check the attic...?so I asked him why it wasn't communicated when I requested. He goes, "I came to do my job but you sent somebody to the house who has no idea what needed to be inspected." And he continued to argue with me that I shouldn't have sent my realtor because my realtor didn't know what needed to be inspected. His point was way off. He became hysteric and started yelling there was no fault on his end and blaming on me and he hung up. read more

Dreadful. We ordered a service for bugs and paid 3000 dollars upfront and they never showed up. It was terrible. Then it took six months for them to give us our money back when all I wanted was no bugs in my house. Terrible. read more

Bought a home in April 2022 that was built in 1991, and the home had been empty for some time before the sale. On move in day I found a dead scorpion that wasn't there on walk through. I have a daughter with special needs who might not understand or know what to do if she found one in her room or bed. I reached out to Terminix and meet with Nicole who was very understanding and professional. I was very much for monthly service and sealing up the house with their abatement, total being $3000 to seal the house up, and $120 a month the first year of service. Fast forward to abatement day and a crew of 3 men show up, they start work and things go bad. The put up wire netting around the roof vents (I forget the name) and processed to paint 8 of them brown, and 4 of them purple. I seen it but I wasn't paying attention, I thought it was just wet, but it was indeed purple and they didn't match now. I was told by the supervisor one of his guys ran out of brown and just used what he had, they are not even supposed to paint, that it was a courtesy. We called BS, No one said they were painting, I didn't ask for painting and I damn sure didn't want miss matched roof vents with some in purple. At the same time My wife asked them to be careful and not make a mess in the house because they insisted that they are not going to clean up after going into the attic. At this point the lead yelled at his employee's to "pack up let's go." Because he was insulted that my wife would talk to his employee and she should only be talking to him (the lead) and then proceeded to get all their equipment and load up the van. Also at this time the Terminex super visor (Eric I think his name was) was here to give us an estimate on the house, they said their team could do everything including rebuilding part of the house if needed and our home definitely needed some attention for repairs and they would be happy to give us a quote. My wife comes up to me both pissed and crying saying the lead (forgot his name) yelled at her for talking to his guy about not making a mess. I'm pretty pissed off by this that some guy is being rude to my wife at my own house. She goes to the Terminix Supervisor and the Lead walks over and they talk for quite some time. My wife calls the sales agent Nicole, and she said talk to Eric, Eric tells the lead they need to finish the job, I send my wife away so she doesn't have to see this guy while they are here. They do the abatement, repaint the purple vents, and repair the celling where one of the crew stepped on the dry wall and cracked it while in the attic. As of today it's been 12 full business days and we still haven't heard from Eric, no quote, no promised work he said he would do for free as a courtesy with a different team, Nicole did show up a week later to come and inspect they abatement and verified yes their is some spots they missed but they would be fixing that. That was 7 business days ago. As of today in the last 24 hours, we have found 1 scorpion, 6 grasshoppers, a bunch of randoms rollie pollies, ants, and a damn lizard inside the house. $3,000 lighter in the pocket as well. This is some real BS. P.S. we now have a jar in the living room specifically to catch all the pests. read more

Wow! Where to start?!? Do not waste your time and money on Terminix. I experienced nothing but frustration and disappointment in the four days I dealt with them. The initial representative on the phone was great. Answered my questions, assured me they'd get someone out to my house to address my pest problem and scheduled my appointment. I followed their policies to the letter. Made arrangements for my pet to be out of the house, took the morning off work (I work in Healthcare and we're somewhat busy with the pandemic and all), and prepared my house to be treated. My appointment was between 8am-12pm. The gentleman from Terminix calls me at 8am to tell me he will there between 1pm-5pm. I explained that I had already taken the morning off and boarded my pet. He cavalierly explained that he was 45 minutes away and had a full day. We had an appointment. How was he 45 minutes away?!? I called the 1-800 number and spoke (complained) to another rep that this was unacceptable and inconvenient as I had already made arrangements. The best they could do was that Friday at noon. Okay...deep breath. I called Thursday just to confirm as I did not trust them at all by this point. The rep told me I was scheduled for SATURDAY at noon. I was floored! I had plans and non-refundable tickets for Saturday. I promptly canceled my appointment and called Orkin. They were wonderful and a breath of fresh air after dealing with the level of incompetence at Terminex. Yes, Orkin cost a little more but peace of mind has no price tag. Steer clear of Terminex. They were more frustrating and maddening than the pests I wanted to get rid of. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could!! Had my house treated on 4/8/2020 for termites and discs installed all around the perimeter of my house. Today, 5/10/2021, I had a pest control company do wood-eating insect inspection for home sale. Active termites were found and now I'm being told I'll have to repay for treatment, after paying $1,623 one year ago!!! Do NOT use them! read more

I had a guy quoted me 1,025 to treat my house. I obviously had other pest services come out for 2nd opinions which told me it wasn't what they tried to sell me. The guy calls 4 days later asked if I still wanted the Terminix treatment I said no. He said my I ask why I proceeded to tell him how he ripped me off. Have been a customer for two years and up until these last few months had nothing but great experiences. In February, a technician came out and said it was a waste of time to do anything since it will rain the next day. They left in a matter of minutes and charged us full price for no service. We called to complained and Terminix scheduled another visit. I took off work to make sure I was here for the 1-3:00 time slot. 3:00 came and went with no sign of Terminix. I called and was told the technician rang the doorbell and left a note on the door. Knowing they were coming, I sat watching and listening for the doorbell. I looked outside and no note anywhere. The technician lied. A few minutes went by and a very rude and disrespectful woman called to tell me I didn't answer the door when "she rang the bell" and said she left a note so I would have to reschedule. I told her there was no note and the door was answered when it was rang ( both times by delivery companies). She said oh well, you need to reschedule. I told her I'll just call her supervisor and she said okay and hung up on me. By this point, I was irate by this lack of professionalism. I called and cancelled immediately stating that the technician was the reason. The lady on the phone wasn't at all concerned that they were losing a customer of two years. That's fine, I won't spend another dime on these turds. I recommend not using this company until they find new technicians and they are trained on basic customer service skills. read more

Technician arrived on time. He was very friendly and efficient with the inspection and report we needed. He explained every detail of any issues he found. He wasn't pushy about future services, but offered his card and said he'd be happy to discuss options once we move in. read more

If i could give no stars i would. In 41 years of being alive i have NEVER dealt with such a negligent company. Literally the worst experience i have had with ANY company ever. Total scammers. We had and still have bed bugs. You have to bag up all of your clothes and fabrics in trash bags and heat them all on high heat. EVERYTHING so imagine how much work that took and imagine living out of trash bags for a WEEK bc they failed to do their job. 1st appointment they forgot the proper equipment so we had to reschedule for the next day. 2nd appointment there was no call when they arrived, no call if/when they left. BUT, there was about a 4 foot scratch on our wood floor. That was the only evidence they were ever there. They also failed to put the "free" bed bags on the beds. Soooo, the tech said he would reschedule it for a THIRD time but soonest time was a WEEK later. We lived out of trash bags for a WEEK while getting bit up BAD. my 9 year old covered in 50+ bites. so 3rd appointment comes around. Forgot the bed bags AGAIN!!!!!!! They charged us $1730 for this!!!! Tech promised us a 50% refund. Of course that hasn't happened and i am sure it wont. This is a fraudulent negligent company that doesnt care about their customers AT ALL. Stay away. avoid them like the plague. Liars with complete disregard for their customers. read more
