Terrible. They had been requiring unnecessary anesthesia to pad their bills. This had been going on…read morefor years until the insurances caught on and stopped it. That not only caused excess billing, but also made it much worse for the patient. Not only the negatives of excess anesthesia, but, they used that as an excuse to insist on patients having someone give them a ride. They also insisted it not be a taxi or Uber. Who then is left? A company called Care Rides that they were affiliated with, and charged enormous amounts of money. One time a patient couldn't afford Care Rides so he had to drive himself home, which he did with no problem. Then Wilton Surgery Center sent the police to his house, claiming that he was driving under the influence of drugs. Now the insurance companies have caught on to the unnecessary anesthesia, and stopped it. Thus, Care Rides no longer operates. In addition to this aforementioned horror, service is rude and all around terrible. The phone is often not answered. Messages are often not answered. Appointments are cancelled same day. The staff is often rude and insolent. Hours are limited. Forget about anything like going after work. Count on missing a day's work if you go here.

I was at the point of having to leave without getting my imaging which needs to be done at a very specific timing a 4-7 days after a certain function in order to get the images needed. Explained that if I don't get done in time to get back to work I have to wait another month to be in the correct time frame to try again. I kept places running late when I asked multiple times and no one will tell me anything and then daughter and have a great time when they know that they've significantly cut into your appointment. It's unacceptable.

The staff processed our insurance and questionnaire quickly so our wait time was minimal. Chris, our nurse, greeted us with a smile, took our temperatures, and then led us into Exam Room 4. He explained the test procedure, check our vitals and answer our questions. For our safety and comfort all three of us stayed together to wait for the results (all negative!). We were surprised to see a physician (extremely friendly) as we were not there for an office visit, per se, just a covid test needed for travel. We heartily recommend Urgent Care in Norwalk to anyone reading this review. Their staff is very professional and caring. Chris and the doctor had excellent bedside manner and, I'll add, a very friendly disposition. While in the waiting room I observed how warm the staff treated all walk-in patients: from the elderly, young adults, middle-aged and even young children. So hats off once again to Chris and Dr. Garley for their wonderful service to us.

A week ago I was there with the starting of an allergy, which turned out to be driven by my blood pressure medication. However, the PA that I consulted with NEVER asked what medications I was on and told me to take Benadryl. Hours later I was at the hospital ER, where they quickly realized it was my medication causing it. There was a fear I was going to need to be intubated and after medications and plasma transfusion my condition was brought under control. Had the PA asked me the most basic question ..."what medications was I on?" a much simpler solution could have been found. The PA realized her mistake after I left the office and left me a voicemail asking if I was still on a specific medication but did not say anything about it being the cause or telling me to rush to the ER. She left a voice mail to call her back just 5 min before the clinic was closing. So when I contacted her the clinic was already closed. I have tried to resolved this directly with the Medical Director Dr. Koslow but he has decided never to contact me back and now I will have to file a civil case. Make sure if you visit them it is an actual dr who sees you.

The facility was clean and properly maintained, assuming it was sanitized as well. Nurses were nice, but they're short with you; they do the job and are done. No conversation. I'm a nurse myself, but I'm a little more chatty with patients. I was in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before the doctor saw me. She was nice as well, but again, short as they were running late. Apparently, the computer system was down for a few hours. The procedure was done in less than an hour from anesthesia to recovery... I woke up and was discharged in 25 minutes.

She spoke with me for a good thirty minutes which was awesome because most walk in clinics never listen to you : we spoke about how antibiotics may be making my body weak and worse - off putting at first because I was stuck in my ways : I chose to listen Took 100% of her advice - it has been two days and I feel SO MUCH BETTER - mucinex and water - with a cough syrup she prescribed - my lungs are 80% better then if i has taken antibiotics - I love her , she's great : definitely made me more optimistic :)

I had the following (paraphrased) conversation on the phone before driving over. Me: "I just want to make sure that you can do this before I come down. I went to a different clinic yesterday and they didn't know how to do it. Its draining a cauliflower ear." WFH: "Hold on let me check. [pause]. Its just using a syringe and draining it, right?" Me: "Yes" WFH: [pause] "Yes, we can do that." Me: "Great. Driving over now" 20 minute drive, several forms, and 1+ hours in the waiting room later, they see me. The nurse takes my temperature and checks my blood pressure. Asks me about my ear. Then says that she doesn't have experience doing the draining, so is going to check with someone else in the office. She soon comes back. Nope -- no one here knows how to do it. I describe my earlier phone conversation, but it goes no where -- sorry, no can do. We don't know who told you that on the phone. Well, OK, that was a waste of time. BUT THEN, they bill me. And my insurance. (fraud?) I end up calling their billing people who tell me to call their office... ... so I call their office (several times on different days; due to busy signals and hang-ups, I only get through on the third day I try). They tell me to call their billing "person" (who's apparently different than the company)... ...so I call this person. And leave a voicemail. And they never call back. And I'm done with dealing with them -- they can have their co-pay and this one-star review. The End. Place sucks. Would not recommend.
