My mother and I went there during the weekend of my sister's graduation from Yale's School of Management(Go Bulldogs!). We booked while we were in Philly for our layover and had trouble scheduling online so we called the office. Olivia immediately scheduled us for a full spa day on Sunday and then we decided to do a separate float on Friday before dinner. Olivia was so kind and happy to help us. When we arrived on Friday we were greeted by Jade to prepare for our float session to sign our waivers. We were taken to a beautiful room with cozy blankets, salt lamps and calming lighting to begin our journey. After watching the informational video for our float session, Jade walked us back to the our separate rooms. The space was so clean and welcoming. We each had our own individuals rooms with a shower, float bath, robe, slippers and toiletries. It was an expectational experience. When we came back on Sunday for our full spa day which included a 3 min cryotherapy session, 1 hour float, 1 hour massage with Jalisa and Stephen followed by an hour sauna session. The deep tissue massages by Stephen and Jalisa were otherworldly. I usually ask for a deep tissue massage but never felt that folks were able to get deep enough, this was not the case. Both my mother and myself felt that every knot we had in our bodies was released and cared for during our session. There were multiple times I felt that multiple hands were on me though it was Stephen and my mom felt the same way with Jalisa. All staff at Ripple Float ensured we were comfortable, hydrated with their many free selections of tea, water and kombucha (available for purchase). We are both looking forward to returning for another full spa day when we are back in the city.

They have a decent selection of music and lighting to choose from for your float experience. They supply ear plugs, both the wax ones and the ones that go in your ear. They also supply body wash, shampoo & conditioner. After your float they have a room with hairdryers and other items you may need to get ready. The Float itself was so relaxing. They said it takes about 45 minutes for you to really relax and that is spot on. The total experience is 1 1/2 hours and such a great experience. To be able to just unplug and relax weightless in the warm epsom salt water is incredible. After the Float staff checks in on how your time was and offers you tea or water and a space to continue to relax. Loved it there, love the experience & I look forward to going back! Chris, my trainer, is extremely personable, focused, and on top of all our objectives. I've always thought the best customer service experience is one where the client feels like they're the only client in the universe, and that the party providing the service is devoted to the singular task of addressing the client's needs. Obviously, a bit of a fantasy given a business with multiple clients, but some businesses pull it off: they create an environment where you feel like you're truly cared for, as if you're the only client. Evolve Athletic Club has accomplished this with me. The staff here are extremely competent, supportive, attentive to detail, and prioritized all my personal objectives. Every question has a good answer and every workout is challenging. A lot of care is put into recovery and nutrition. The space is very clean and organized. The staff has done a great job to build amazing rapport and trust. On a side note, you know the expression, "zero fucks given"? It's this attitude where a person literally does not care about a single thing. Plants need watering? No. Need to pay rent? Nah. Clothes getting dirty and need washing? Whatever. Failing school? Ite. Evolve is the opposite of this. In fact, I think they're the opposite of this plus more. Not only do they do everything you think that's required of them, they also do stuff that you don't consider. They take the initiative to say: "hey, this is cool and could be beneficial to you. Why don't you try it?" But, but...you're reviewing a business. Aren't corporate entities "it's" and not "they's"? Sure. However, I stopped thinking of Evolve as a corporate entity as soon as I started working out there. All the staff members look organically happy and engaged, and everyone has a great sense of humor. It genuinely feels like the people here are part of a family. Perhaps I'm just happy that I'm in much better shape. But, at the end of the day, results are results. Not only did I get results, I got them with a process that was fun and engaging. I'm more encouraged than ever to work out and be healthy.

Been 5 years+ since last review. Surprised to see level of negativity in some and how few have…read morebeen written. I don't do or need cryo-slim so I cannot speak to that. I am a lifelong athlete, play competitive tennis at high level and as I have gotten older, recovery clearly has become more of a challenge. I had cut back a few years back on Restore due to a relocation and only so many Health & Wellness activities can be supported at a time. Anyway, this past summer, i walked by the Restore in Stamford, i saw my old friend Duane who is now District Manager. he showed me the new cryotherapy chamber and some of the other changes made at this facility. I signed up for a monthly package of 14 treatments and began to use before tennis matches this summer. When i was in Fairfield area, I went to the Restore up there which is also superbly run. I started with the new cryo chamber at 2 1/2 minutes andnow do the full 3 1/4 time...Incredibly great. I ask for the same song every time, "Under Pressure" by David Bowie and Queen because when I am doing my steps in this chamber, i sure feel Under Pressure! Then i come out and feel amazing. Interestingly, I started winning all my tennis matches before cryo! It just put me in such a positive frame. I now do red light regularly as well as the compression therapy which is very soothing. I have tried the sauna....still need to do better and with winter coming, I will do so, The staff at Westport is terrific and I do not know all their names but walking into Stamford earlier, i was greeted by people who really like what they do and make me feel very welcome. Melanie is a sweetheart; Cinzia put me in the cryo chamber today and is always smiling. Ella is a pro. AnnaLisa very nice. If you are super athletic and want to work on recovery, I highly recommend. I have done IV treatments in the past and the team of nurses (Julie Cebo and others) is top notch!

I have done 5 sessions costing me $1500! Not even a cm off my waistline!! I'm positive there's no effect even after 5 sessions because I did not gain weight, and my waistline remained the same. I regretted this procedure, it was expensive and useless!
