This was my first time here. I ordered a Shrimp Parm Sub Sandwich. I liked that the bread was a little soft and not too hard. The shrimp was well breaded and seasoned pretty well. It wasn't the most amazing sandwich I've had but certainly a solid one. I would have given this place a 3.5 just based on the food but everyone was really friendly on the phone and when I came inside so customer service gained them the 4 star rating. The menu is really extensive so there's lots to choose from. If I were hungry and in the area, I'd stop back in to try something else. read more

The delivery person is awesome / he drives a black Camry. That's why they got 3 stars, before today they were at 5 stars simply because of the delivery. But when you go into the store in the morning during the week. My god is it painful. Today I waited nearly 12 minutes before heading to work for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. After waiting 5 mins for the guy to slice cold cuts, I asked him if he would be able to make my sandwich before my Uber arrived in 7 mins and he said yes. One would think as he cuts the cold cuts and weights the slices one slice at a time, that he would have told the back abt my sandwich (I mean 2 customers isn't a hard multitask). When my Uber says it's 5 mins away I think ok this isn't gonna happen this am. My Uber pulls up 5 mins later, I walk out and the guy from behind the counter runs out w sandwich in hand and asks if I still want the sandwich. Of course I do, I go back into the store to pay and wait for a painful minute while he bags up my order. When I get to work I realize I have an egg and cheese sandwich. No bacon! I should have left him holding it in his hand, but I didn't want to be the cause of a wasted sandwich. That's it for this place. This is a relatively new local family owned and operated kitchenette/deli. Fresh ingridients delivered all time. Some days I come here 2-3 times. Mostly everything on the menu is quick and delicious! The mutz is always made fresh and is a great addition to any plate or sandwich. Great antipasta & hot pepper shooters Breakfast is always solid, omlettes, BLTs, various sandwiches are all pretty good. Some of my favorite things are: Mashed potatoes (which are made with delicious garlic and heated on a griddle for crispness on the bottom) -Empanadas, mainly beef and pizza, but they are all good, and you can add pepperoni/ cheese/bacon to any -Roast beef is freshly home-made, -Wings are decent with a beer Salads are also pretty filling, especially with a chicken cutlet. I've only ordered from Teranova Deli once, so a five star review may be a little premature, but I really liked my meal and I love seeing new places opening up in the heights. Ordering over the phone was pretty easy and painless; the fellow who took my order was very nice and I was able to pay with my credit card. I also should note, I called 30 minutes before closing time and I did not have any problems placing a delivery order. I ordered the mozzarella panini and it was delicious and exactly what I was hoping for: ginormous, melted perfectly, and all of the ingredients were fresh. I also ordered fries to share, which were completely unnecessary given the size of the panini. My fella ordered a wrap that he said was good but when he saw my panini he wished he had ordered one too. Teranova's menu is quiet large, so after my first great experience I look forward to trying some of their items. In terms of neighborhood panini comparisons, I liked Teranova's better that what I have ordered from Pizza Masters. The french fries on the other had were only okay, they were the crinkle cut kind; I suggest they buy better fries. The portion for the French fries was large. Terranova Deli seems to use good quality ingredients and what they do better than some of the other local spots is accept credit cards and have a quick delivery service. read more

We have 2 great Italian Deli's but terranova is very well rounded with their menu and is a true deli. The people are great and service is phenomenal. Delivery is super quick, I totally recommend this deli for anyone looking for a New York type deli! You will not be disappointed. I have ordered from Teranova Deli multiple times and each time there have been minor issues, but since I enjoyed their Chicken Alfredo recipe I over looked the little things. IE: My first order came in a torn sauce drenched bag and that should have been the red flag. The next orders just had minor mistakes as in wrong order, not the right pasta, things or that nature. TODAY I ordered my usual Chicken Alfredo along with Chicken Marsala. Bag isn't soaked this time the orders are kinda correct the Marsala is missing mushrooms and this time they didn't give the usual little loaf of bread that comes with the pasta entrees. No big deal just bread not the type to make a huge deal over things of that nature. Not even mid way through the meal my boyfriend pulls out a DEAD COCKROACH from the Chicken Marsala soaked in the sauce. Now from disbelief and hoping the paranoia isn't needed we placed it on a napkin in hopes of a big piece of black pepper. NOT black pepper!!!!!When calling back to notify the deli & speak with management personnel My request was dismissed and then the man on the phone began to say maybe it was in the bag and not in the food. If the ROACH was in the bag it still came from Teranova Deli since they staple the paper bag closed and 2nd protection plastic bag to that is also tied closed. Also since pasta and sauce is heavy they double up on the foil packaging. This meaning it was cooked into the food or fell in at some point during plating either way there are bugs in your establishment. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE COCKROACHES ALA CARTE.
